Have you ever wondered what your life is actually about? Do you search for meaning in every footfall? Does your mind hope for something better as your shoe touches pavement once again? We live in a time when Christian morals do nothing to sway a conscience to the proper side. Our government officials claim to be out to help us, and in actuality they are only out to help themselves. Life in America is rapidly deteriorating, and we are too busy with chain letters and distractions to talk about the real issues. How many people actually know about Darfur? How many people think about it in any other instance than the relative passing you get when one sees it on Facebook or MySpace? I am more than frightened to call myself American in such a time, but I would hate to call myself English or German.

You don’t need money anymore. Now we need to get rid of capitalism. It is the sole destructive force in the world right now. How many out there have read Zinn or Chompsky? Does it make you feel depressed? I know its heavy, but if you stay uniformed then you perpetuate stereotypes that surround us around the world. Globalization will save us all. Make sure you keep American corporations afloat so the farm subsidies can go to the agribusiness. They need that money to keep things afloat, and Jamaica needs us to keep them supplied with cheaper food alternatives. Without us there they would be able sell their own goods, but what’s wrong with a little friendly competition. Sure we subsidize our farmers so much in America that Jamaicans could never begin to even support themselves much less compete.

Have you eve thought about where our water will be eventually? Have you ever thought about healthcare, and what a national plan could do for us all? Does it affect you currently? I suppose that it does not. So, therefore you need not concern yourself with such pettiness. We can all sit by and hope that revelations comes true as our fresh water depletes, and slowly business has the only access to water. Desalination is an expensive process and you will eventually be paying for. You’ll no longer be supplied by your government cheaply, but instead you will be paying for privatized water. Who knew that there were things to worry about that can actually kill you. Iraq is child’s play compared to what the government doesn’t want you to know. Is it better off to be in the dark, or will we be killed? The government is not averse to killing, as we have seen in the past.

Who benefits from all this? Why would our government be out to destroy us? Well, money seems to often be at the root of a lot of problems, but then again perhaps the problem is allowing corruption to be in Washington. We have allowed the rich to control us with television and ad campaigns. We are so busy squabbling over something so trivial as gay marriage or immigration. It makes me weep to think that one day the great institution known as America will fall because of what we are doing. Why do you think terrorists target us? It is not because we have so much and they have so little. We supply them the arms most of the time. It is because we are apart of their foreign policy. Of course they do not want to be told what it is that they need to do. No one wants to be told what to do. I will never say that terrorism is right. The killing of civilians is never the right way to go about it. Please do not misinterpret me. I wish for everyone to wake up to what is really going on. America’s number one fear is brought on to us by America.

Think about it.
