Niner only had relatively defensive posts he did not actually defeat his opponent... congratulations are a bit strange guys.

Whilst matt's dropping out is unfortunate, the fact still remains that Niner progressed in the grand tournament. A feat not everyone can do.

Regardless of the reasons, I beleive congratulations are in order.

It's the same of congratulating a vice president for taking office when the official president is killed. You don't throw negative vibes at him, you give him the respect he deserves.

Doesnt quite matter, surviving as long as he did, and doing damage to that overpowered of a character is pretty good. Wookie bloody Jedi Grandmaster vs. Assassin?

Congrats Niner!

Is this some kind of attack on my character?

Not a serious one. I meant more in comparison, non force wielding assassin versus a wookie jedi grandmaster, dont you think your charrie sounds a bit overpowered in that match up?

While I do respect the fact that Niner managed to survive Dewbecca I don't feel it is necessary to congratulate him just for that. If he had won and actually pulled off the feat of defeating the grandmaster of the Jedi or any member since they can be just as volatile I would congratulate him all the same. I'm sorry if I offended you for implying that it was not correct to give praise when it really is your own choice to give praise or not.

Though I would like to argue the fact that you believe that it's no small feat to advance in the tournament when there have been two cases that suggest otherwise. Both your's and Niner's matches clearly show this.

Out of curiosity, was offense intended when you implied that my advancing in the tournament was sheer dumb luck? I won in very few posts not on a technicality, but because I used tactics to defeat him. Whilst it was fortunate that Cailst decided it was a good idea to get shot in the head, it was still my initial intention to kill him.

Advancing in the earlier rounds is of course easier than in the rounds later in the tournamanet, I'll give you that much. But to imply that any fool could advance is actually offensive. If I recall correctly Matt forfeited simply because he felt the fight would take to long, and thusly wanted to focus his attention elsewhere. Were Niner not skilled enough, matt would not have come to this conculsion and forfeited.

So, I say again. Congratulations Niner.

It's funny how everyone is defending me against something I don't even find offensive. Let me just say now, Matt is a better RPer then I can hope to be. He felt however that he could not do his character justice because he has other commitments. So I won out of a technicality. Yes I am proud of myself for surviving three pages against him but I don't consider myself as having beaten Matt in the fight. I consider it as Temis having beaten Dewbacca on a technicality.

I am sorry, Kupo, but I must pull out. I am having computer problems with spyware and such, and it worries me enough to not be fully into this, so I must pull out.

I am sorry.

no... he's a togorian. Think wookie+cat+able to speak basic, and you get the idea.

Not part human, completely different species.

I phrased my question poorly. I was wondering what animal he was more of. But since its not a wolf, its all good.

Dragon Hammer/Ryutsuisen: The "Dragon Hammer" is a sword-drop technique delivered from above, targeting the crown of the head or the shoulder of the adversary. The key to the technique lays in the height gained from the user’s jump and the free-fall, which is applied to the sword to multiply the force of the sword-stroke.

'Tis what Rain is in the process of performing.

Give me until the end of this week to post a reply in the thread please. I don't have much time to RP. I'm jumping in and out of this forum now and then in between my moments of work.
