Allow for this thread to serve as the official mission sign-up thread for the faction of DarkNet.

The Faction is: APPROVED

Full details on the information thread, but basically the organization is a group of talented individuals consisting of Force Sensitives, Slicers, and Fighters. The concept was originally from the mind of Flying Blind but I've put some efforts into it as well; some valuable input from Sierrien - as well as almost everyone in the faction, contributions no matter how little are appreciated.

The idea is a true neutral group dedicated to trying to level out the playing field across the factions. In essence, we work in information and information is by far more powerful then any currency. If you're interested in becoming a part of this unique (or at least in my opinion) faction check out the thread linked at the top of the message. Post your questions there too or contact via PM (Send the PMs to Flying Blind before me, this was truly his idea he probably has better answers then I would).

In addition, this thread will display all ACTIVE and ASSEMBLING missions; these mission details will also be posted on the main thread (post #5). This thread is for members and on occasion 'freelancers' to sign-up; you can also expect some status updates such as 'ACTIVE - Reinforcements Needed' (which would mean someone else could slip in to support either in a permanent or semi-permanent role.)

Good Luck, and have fun.

--------
General Missions:

Training Day (Combat) - Kannick Stargrave has recently upgraded the combat drones in the training facility located in the Pit. He has invited any and all who wish to test their skills to go against these upgraded bots. He has also offered a small cash prize to whoever gets the high score. (2+ Members - Green Level 1, Success Chance 100%)
Mission Status: ASSEMBLING ;
Mission Roster: Nabassk (QwibQwib), Jeeto (Pyromaniac)

The Expedite- Recently, a smuggler dropped into Kal'Shebbol for a refuel. Naturally, we did a background check after slicing a few consoles and such. This man was transporting a large shipment of the glitterstim 'spice' to an unknown buyer far beyond the edge of the Galaxy. His ship The Expedite has been located via satellite in between Kal'Shebbol and the Unknown Regions. Glitterstim is highly valuable and could add to the DarkNet's funds if recovered successfully; or the highly addictive spice could be destroyed preventing anyone from consuming it. Proceed with caution, as there are many variables in this mission (2-3 Members - Green Level 2, Success Chance 85%)
Mission Status:ASSEMBLING
Mission Roster:

Senatorial Slander- Recently, Senator Guri Nolan has antagonized his colleagues and has likely been targeted for elimination. Although we would usually stay out of it, Nolan might have information on a certain officer we have yet to track down. Ensure Guri is on our side and make sure no harm comes to him. (2-4 Members - Green Level 2, Success Chance 85%)

Persons of Interest:

Jarjekki- A Wookiee not bound to honor like most in his culture, Jarjekki enslaves his own kind for a decent profit. Recently, this wookiee has upped his game, now hunting for humans instead. His hunt has brought him here to Kal'Shebbol, far from any authority. Although he is of little threat to DarkNet itself, we will not watch as he kidnaps and sells our neighbors. Please eliminate the target. (2-4 Members - Green Level 2, Success Chance 85%)

Zip, Zilch, and Nada- Okay so maybe this is persons of interest, but that's besides the point. These three are a small-time band composed of the Bith musicians Zip and Zilch and the lead singer a Twi'Lek named Nada. These three are only posing as a band, in truth they are clever scam artists who have unknowingly tapped into the DarkNet's bank accounts while playing at The Void. Since this cannot get out of hand, it is time to end their little game. Make sure they don't empty our accounts, and Uh, no need mention this little mess to Jechtral, okay? (2-3 Members - Green Level 2, Success Chance 80%)

Anto Burr- Anto Burr has been a thorn in our side since the beginning. Burr is a rival slicer and former ally of Jechtral during his time as Helios on the HoloNet. Burr has been prodding and slicing and stalking his way around the DarkNet and we fear he will soon find something he shouldn't. Please either ensure he does not bother us again, or really ensure he won't bother us again, get what I'm saying? (2 Members - Green Level 3, Success Chance 75%)

Nu- This person actually is no risk to DarkNet, but they are so sick and twisted, we want them out of the Galaxy anyways. Nu is a Kaminoan who follows her ancestor's footsteps in cloning but with a sick twist. She has been lacking in volunteers to clone superior versions of the donor, so she has been abducting children and experimenting on them instead. Sadly, these children are often too young to survive the experiments some adults couldn't survive. Make sure Nu never harms another child. (2-4 Members - Green Level 3, Success Chance 75%)

Spice Raid

There is a shipment of supplies are being delivered to the Imperium outpost on Hoth. This is a perfect opportunity to put the pressure on a supply line to one of the already pressured bases of the Imperium. The convoy is guarded by a particularly deadly member of the Sith Order, due to previous blunders. Make sure the supplies don't reach the base. The supplies consist of food rations, medicines, ammunition, and power cells. Wouldn't these go to better use helping the needy, rather than a base in the frozen wasteland of the galaxy?

Objectives: 1. Destroy or seize the supplies
2. Escape alive, without being tracked.

Requirements: 2 DarkNet agents (any rank), 1 Sith Order member (any rank)

Mission Level: Green Level 3, Success Rate 75% -- or PVP, Unknown Success Rate
Mission Roster: Kannick, LOCK (Flying Blind), Kaz, FORCE (Tal Veren) - Vacant

Put the Detonator Down, Jeeto.

It appears, uh... a slaver has discovered a colony of Neepo on Bakura and have decided that the buggers were good for nothing but to make entertaining slaves. Reports have flooded the HoloNet about the slavers capturing and selling the Neepo for uses as anything you could imagine, even target practice. Naturally, when Jeeto heard of this, something blew up- a cargo ship that docked to refuel, carrying many Neepo men, women, and children. The Neepo lived- the pirates didn't.

One of the Neepo told Jeeto of where the slavers ran their operation, and now wants DarkNet to go with this Neepo to the slaver's base of operations to dismantle it and free his people. It was surprising, but when asked if he was to come with, Jeeto lowered his head, grabbed his locket, and muttered, "Me no go."

Objectives:
1. Take out twenty pirates, including their boss, a Weequay named Dermakk.
2. Free as many Neepo as you can, and bring them back alive.
3. (Optional) If a Neepo woman with a scar on her right cheek, or a Neepo child with a birthmark on his left forearm is found, tell them "Nanabom". If you do, Jeeto will give you the title of "Nee-bro".

Requirements: 1-2 DarkNet agents. 1 to play the NPC pirates.
Mission Level:Yellow Level 1, Success Rate 65% - Bonus, 50% chance of happening

Blast From The Past
Kannick was once a member of the Jedi Order and was betrayed, a day he would like to keep in his past. However, it has been hard and now it is impossible. The Sith who nearly killed him on Ruusan has returned, having never actually letting Kannick escape. He is hunting Kannick down, believing after the Jedi shot him down he'd be easy to turn to the Dark Side. Out of fear, Kannick had fled Kal'Shebbol to an unknown hiding place to ensure the Sith doesn't find DarkNet. Unfortunately, Kannick has lost contact as of yesterday. Any agents assigned to this mission will be sent to his last known location.

Objectives:
1. Track down the Sith
2. (Bonus) Kill the Sith, end it once and for all.

Requirements: 2 or more DarkNet Agents.
Mission Level:Yellow Level 1, Success Rate 58%

I'm working on this right now, trying to add a little more fun and zest to the missions. Also, Zigara's, you might want to edit the first post, it still says unapproved :)

Corrected.

Guess I got so focused on other things I forgot about that minor correction.

Thanks for the offer guys. You're always welcome to submit mission ideas to myself, Blind or Sierrien.

In the meantime, I've added some possible missions - while none are currently open for signup... stay tuned because some will be sooner then you think!

(And Pyromaniac deserves a shout out for the 'Spice Run' -- Factional Based Mission. Nice job.)

Note: We can put you down for it, but we'd like the missions to start after the orientation day thread, which shouldn't take as long as the party.

Note of the Note: the orientation day threads will be three, one for each division, so @ QwibQwib ours should be even faster :)

Will those start here soon, or have they already and I'm incredibly late?

Don't worry they're not up yet, I guess you should talk to Zigara's about your own, I'm about to get the LOCK thread up soon :)

SINCE we're moving along nicely I figured I'd do this now.

Above I have added another missions (courtesy of Pyromaniac) under 'Personal Missions' - personal missions are missions that are in some way related to each of our character's histories. I thought they'd be a nice twist on things. But Zigara you say, one of the 'General Missions' references Jechtral and his Helios days, why is that not considered personal? Well the answer is simple. While Jechtral had worked with the individual - that particular missions isn't exactly one that would have a big impact on him. Jeeto's mission however, it directly involves his people and possibly his family - that's why it gets a new classification.

I am also taking the time to announce that: Training Day and The Expedite are now 'assembling'
(Please note, the missions will not be underway until orientation is completed to a satisfactory degree)

Qwib, I've already got Nabassk signed to Training Day.

Simply (reply with quote) to sign up. Just use this format:
---
Mission:
Character:
Division or Role:
Do you want to host?
---

Hosts will of course be responsible for making sure the thread flows and you can essentially designed on how it goes. If you want to host but want us to make a starter post - but Blind, Myself, or Sierren don't have to be involved in the mission, it'll all be you guys. (Unless we're the hoster or choosing to take part ^.^)

I'll stay away from Training say to avoid a repeat of the orientation day for LOCK, but sign me up for the faction based mission, sounds fun. Nice work, Pyro.

Alright, you and Blind can go ahead and do that one - but you'll need to get yourself a Sith if you'd like to RP-PVP. You guys will have to determine your own outcome chance on that one once you get the Sith on board.

SIDE NOTE:
Everyone is welcome to send me, Blind or Sierrien missions (general, factional, persons, or personal missions) and we'll give them a read over and provide feedback and likely post it up.

Through phishing schemes, hacking, and side adds is the Dark Net capable of raising funds for me for a negotiable percentage?
