One's mind was a weapon. It was sharper than any blade, faster than any gun, and more powerful than any bomb. Truly the mind was a magnificent thing. Despite this brilliance of fire, however, there was a sect of people who knew how to break one's mind. To shatter them, make them unwhole, and to siphon out their innermost thoughts and desires. They could use this information against you for good or evil. It entirely depended on how angry you made that other being.

Raith was one such being.

He waited for bus newest student inside a room where a man sat, bound to a chair and very much unconscious. He was a pirate Raith had captured just for this assignment. He would be the subject of study for today's lesson. Raith had toyed with him a bit, subjugating him to illusions of his worst fears and deeoends secrets. Currently he was passed out under the power of mesmerism. The Tuk'ata watched the prisoner curiously, clearly interested in what kept him in this slumber. Eezeo sat on the floor near Raith. It was his tentacles that kept the man bound.

Today was a good day...

Drarkia's first steps on the temple were met with eyes, not many had seen her kind before they were usually underground in hives. Why she was here was a mystery to most. On top of which she was a giant to many species, being close to seven feet tall was no laughing matter. She had ignored them and kept moving, she had been summoned by someone for a lesson. It was about time as far as she was concerned, she never thought she would get any where. Walking down the halls she followed the instructions she had been given.
When she found the door she opened it to see a man inside just waiting, another clearly unconcious and a pirate. She knew a pirate from illegal smuggling and trades that went on around the fighting pits. "Tell me what you want me to do." She said. She didn't introduce herself or anything. Drarkia was a tell her what to do and she did it person. She was not in it for pleasantries.

Right to business then.

"Sit. Meditate and listen, Acolyte." He walked forward and placed his hands on either side of the pirates head.

"The mind, Acolyte. Nexus of every sentient and non-sentient, being's power. With it we can build nations, we can create new paths in life, we can topple governments and raise the dead. Literally. The mind is your single most important asset. You must never allow it to be invaded. Ever. Doing so will almost certainly warrant your doom, or worse..your lack of precious free will." He gestured to the pirate to present his case.

Stepping around the pirate noe to stand before her he continued. "It is for this reason that the very thing that makes us strong is also our most dangerous weakness. Fill a mind with doubt, and watch those amazing things one has done crumble. All you need to do is know which strings to pull. This is an easy task for those adept in mental combat. Tell me what your experience is in this field? Have you ever been engaged in such a fight? Struggling to control your mind, and by extention your body?"

She took a seat on the ground listening as he talked of the mind and how one should never allow it to be invaded. He asked if anyone had ever done so with her. "No one enters my mind, I'd kill them." She said. It was simple enough she really would kill anyone who tried to enter her mind. Though she never encountered anyone who had attempted to, most often they were more frighted of her size or claws than to attempt to enter her mind. Drarkia suspected that this might end up as a test of her will. She wouldn't simply allow this master in her mind without a fight if thats what it came to. "I've only used my powers to kill not to enter anyone's mind." She said. She really never had an interest in their thoughts, just was fighting for survival.

The Sith Arcanist tilted his head and pursed his lips slightly. Silently he lashed out, throwing his mental self at the woman, unless she had some hidden mastery of shielding her mind, it would be an easy intrusion for Raith. If it was successful he would, painfully, draw out the whatever fear she had buried deep inside and manifest it through the power of illusions. Targeting her mind and molding the image or situation out of the Force. It would look, sound, and feel terribly real.

Why did he do this? Because she had no hopes of properly learning a power if she had not experienced it. An invasion of minds was a gross invasion of privacy. That being said, Raith tried not to do it often. But situations like these came up and he deemed it needed.

Retreating from her mind, but keeping the illusion up, he inserted himself into the dream world, his mental form leaning over her shoulder and whispering softly.

"You come to me empty handed. Void of any knowledge of the talent you wish to employ upon others. You want this? Control over another being's state of mind? To send them into a panic with little more than a tilt of your head? Understand fear, Acolyte, you cannot bring it forth without sleeping with it first." With that the image around her would erupt into flames, licking at her hands and feet, threatening to consume every fiber of her being, and then.

Nothing.

She would find herself back in the room with Raith. "Tell me. What do you know of fear?"

The illusion of when she was a child manifested, fearing being abused and beaten. Drarkia never wanted to feel like that again, when that fear manifested she growled. She knew she was bigger now, stronger. "That fear holds no value over me." She said. She would not let this man use her fears as a child over her, not when she was focus on the now. "I've seen fear, they fear my size, my strength, my fangs. I've encountered it so often I can smell fear now, it's sent, its taste. I know when others fear me." She said. Drarkia wasn't fooling, a lot of fighters had come to fear her when she had started growing and continued until she towered over them.
