EMAB Pistol - Massive Impact - Secondary ION shot(Limited Ammo on secondary function) -Magnetic Auto release holster for quick draw

Systems utilizes micro-technology scale processes. - With User Ident System (Will self destruct if used by someone else)
Like a traditional heavy blaster utlitizing destabilized particles, but since shots are accelerated, has the affect of knocking over targets it hits; not from the small scale explosion inherent from blaster technology, but from the shear force and speed of the blaster shot itself, even heavily armored targets can be knocked back (Not over, but back). Shear recoil of weapon requires specialized micro-scale repulsor generators and reinforced materials to keep weapon from tearing itself apart. Due to energy needing to be also fed into repulsor generator, and energy required for electromagnetic acceleration has only ten shots a clip (using older style high capacity power cells) Tyler usually carries a few spare clips, but tries to make every shot count.
Secondary Function: Under sling medium projectile launcher.

- Ion round, that either can be set to fire a very concentrated shot into the target, or wide area ION field disruption (great for lightsaber disruption).
- Overwhelm Round, - custom two stage concussion round:
(OOC: Character using this weapon is very tech oriented, so I feel him making a fully custom weapon is probable. The character himself is rather squishy, or so I feel I think - balancing out this weapon over-all, but will change at request of course.)

- Overwhelm Round, - custom two stage concussion round:
The Overwhelm round is a two stage round that makes use of the concussion technology that was favored by the Trandoshan Sissk gang. Due to the fact that the round is Electromagnetically fired, the entire shell is the delivery system.
As the round is fired, a micro-tech computer in the gun triangulates target distance instantaneously (using estimates as target may or may not be perfectly lined up due to human error), adjusting a small internal lever, that as the round is fired will time the rounds 1st stage activation distance which determines second stage detonation.
The round itself is dumb, but the lever adjusts round travel time before the first stage triggers, splitting the front of the round and creating a multi fletchete wall of about 8 projectiles that automatically continue on a curve outward, and explode on a timer - this time is always the same, as the timing of the fletchette's detonation is determined by stage one activation (Much like a dumb cluster munition and the small cluster explode after a brief time - these are not smart to ensure maximum payload).
At the same time, the second half and more powerful part of the round continues forward containing a standard concussion based blast payload, this round is also pre-timed and will explode where the target should have been at the firing of the round. The second and main part of the round working in tandem with the fletchettes, creates a wall of smaller blasts with a main blast in the center.
Because of this "blast wall", it makes dodging the round without cover very difficult as they detonate even without target contact, however the explosions of the fletchettes are small and will only knock people over unless they make contact with the target. Due to the timed explosions in combination with the main concussion blast, even if someone dodges, they are likely to be affected by the explosions pressure wave, either blown back, knocked over, or disoriented.
Due to the fact that the round is still in a sense very simple and not guided or computerized, no space is lost to guidance systems, thus ensuring maximum payload for both parts. 1st stage separation happens by unlocking the fletchettes and force of atmospheric travel causes them to seperate and slowdown enough where they are at the same point at the same time as second stage concussion round when detonation occurs. Due to the size of the round and that it is EM accelerated, firing the specialized round uses 1 charge from the power cell to activate the repulsor field and for the energy needed for EM firing.

Reloading the Specialized round is straight forward. The bottom of the grip of the under barrel attachment of the pistol near the trigger pops downard, hinged at the front, allowing a very fast breach load.
(OOC: Character using this weapon is very tech oriented, so I feel him making a fully custom weapon is probable. The character himself is rather squishy, or so I feel I think - balancing out this weapon over-all, but will change at request of course.)
