Azee awoke with a start, the cold fear of a nightmare receding back into her mind. The details grew fainter with each passing moment, but she recalled being captured by one of the underworld gangs and tossed over the Iziz city walls to be torn apart by the abominations that currently assailed the city. The Zeltron sat up, staring around the small room she now slept in after apprenticing herself to the enigmatic Zorya. It had been an arduous few weeks; her silver-haired mentor was no easy teacher, and she pushed Azee to her limits. Still, the early results were promising. She knew now that her power came from the Force, the universal energy that permeated all things, and better yet she was learning to better manipulate it.

Azee looked out the window in her room, focusing on the sun just barely peaking over the horizon. It was still early, but after her nightmare there was no chance the young apprentice would be able to get any more rest. She threw on some plain black robes, exiting the room and making her way to a small terrace outside where she sat in the middle of a ring of 10 large stones she'd gathered earlier in the week. Crossing her legs and closing her eyes, the Zeltron reached out with the Force as a slight breeze rustled her dark red hair. One by one, each stone slowly lifted off the ground, levitating about a foot in the air.

A bead of sweat ran down Azee's face after just two minutes of raising all 10 stones, her brow furrowing in concentration as she worked harder to keep the stones aloft. She could already feel her grasp slipping; it seemed the harder she tried, the more her body resisted. A stone clattered to the ground, followed by two more; the remaining ones wobbled as the Zeltron fought to maintain balance and control, only for the rocks to drop from her invisible grasp. Azee let out a frustrated sigh, opening her ocean-blue eyes as she caught her breath and wiped the sweat away from her forehead. Zorya had warned her that training would be difficult, and though the apprentice could feel the power in and around her she hadn't found the right way to tear down the damn within her and let her full potential flow out.
