Two days had passed since the Jedi had thwarted the assassination attempt of the terrorist organization known as the Black Tendril. It had gone relatively unnoticed to the media, which Nakira considered to be quite ironic. The media was seemingly only interested in the Order if they committed 'heinous crimes', for the holonet's most discussed topic was still the arrest of Master Oren.
Because of all the recent events that had transpired on Naboo, the two Jedi were forced to stay a little longer. Minister Tenara had decided to postpone the interrogations of both the Gungan prisoners and the Jedi, for the arrest had kept the government of Naboo occupied. Keren had been relatively peaceful since the attack, and what was left of the Royal Guard unit kept the city as secure as they could.
Today, the investigation would officially begin, or so Nakira was told. A sector ranger would arrive to assist the Jedi and the Royal Guard in tracking down the bomber and the remaining members of the Black Tendril. While she was relieved to hear that they could finally take a more active role in this crisis, she was a little annoyed by the fact that a sector ranger had to interrogate them first.
Nakira sat down on the comfy sofa that stood in the middle of the richly decorated room. When the minister had told them that they would be treated as guests with the utmost respect, Nakira still had a hard time believing Naboo was truly this hospitable. They lacked absolutely nothing. Even her luggage, which had arrived a day earlier and survived the bombing, had been delivered to her room way before she had arrived despite the crisis.
The Padawan glanced at her master. They had spoken very little during the past few days, mostly because they had been staying in different parts of the building. She had only seen him during dinner, but Tenara had kept them from discussions in private. Until today.
As she looked her master up and down. She couldn't help but notice how little effort he had put in his appearance, especially compared to her Jedi robe. "Are you thinking about Minister Tenara again?" she asked nonchalantly, reaching for her teacup on the coffee table. "If you want to ask her out, I do suggest you start putting some work in your appearance." It hadn't gone unnoticed to her how he interacted with the minister. Taking a sip of her tea, Nakira's hazel colored eyes shifted to meet her master. She was truly curious as to how he would respond.
