New Alderaan
The initial attempt to gain full control over his company failed. Luckily the security system was taken down before shit hit the fan. The death of the other owners lead to their wills being passed on. In a sick twist of faith both of the children resided on New Alderaan. It made the job both easier and harder at the same time.

As they began landing at the spaceport with the engine lightly sputtering he sighed. He would get the ship patched up slightly while they did their job here. He only had one weapon on him the stolen lightsaber. He put on a pair of gloves trying to limit the amount of things able to tie him to the crime.

After he was ready he looked over to the acolyte accompanying him. He had brought Vossari along since he took part in the failure and also owed him for the ship damage. "Before we start, you know how to hide yourself visually with the force right?" The only way to properly get into New Alderaan with weapons was to sneak in. He planned to do just that.

Trael's janky ship held out long enough the get the both of them to New Alderaan. It took a serious hit on their last mission - as did . "Yeah, sure." He didn't really, but he had seen Ayomi do it once. Did that qualify as 'knowing'? Likely not, but it didn't seem like Trael was particularly in need of skilled help. If he was, he wouldn't be working with Vossari again. Vossari touched their gunship down onto the landing pad, without notice.

"How did you get this company in the first place? What's your, like, endgame here?" They could go in, guns blazing, again and just murder these two heirs. Presumably, they were here to use more stealthy approach than a violent one. But Vossari wasn't precisely picky about what and which methods he used, he just wanted to know a little more about the man he was traveling with. In fact, he realized he knew next to nothing about Trael. This was their second mission together - and he seemed like the "chill" sort. That is, if any Sith could truly be chill. "Let's say we get the business. Do you wanna just use it as like passive income? Or is there something specific that we're mining?"

Vossari's stomach grumbled. All this thinking got him hungry, along with a long, slow journey to New Alderaan. "You didn't have any snacks on the ship, Trael. Can we stop for lunch first?" New Alderaan was supposed to have good fish, right?

Trael wasn't sure on if he trusted Voss or not. He looked at him curiously trying to figure out how he wanted to proceed. "How about I take your lightsaber and sneak out while you go through security like normal." He knew he could pass by with force camouflage but he didn't want to risk Voss getting caught.

"I got the business by convincing one of the owners to sign his share to me. Isn't that obvious? I want to be the sole owner of it." He could tell the acolyte was curious of his plans but asking the end game was odd. Normally his mission partners never cared for the why just the how. He looked Voss over trying to gauge his intentions and personality. Though he was lippy and could be annoying he wasn't bad company either. "The company mines gemstones exclusively. If I gain full control of it there's a chance I could get the ability to mine kyber with it. But right now it's just for passive income."

He glared over at Voss, "I had snacks during the early part but someone ate them all. Lunch sounds good, what do you want to eat?" He had little knowledge of New Alderaan besides it's strict weapons law. "We could leave our weapons here now that I think about it. Make it look like a burglary gone wrong instead of assassination." He wanted to let Vossari take part in the decision process to try and get a read on how he thinks.

"Mining Kyber. That would be mighty powerful." That was a resource that could create super weapons, or engineer the next generation of Sith. Who controlled Kyber controlled lightsabers, energy, and the power to harness weapons. An emerald mine itself was a good investment, but it seemed already too hands-on for a Sith champion as busy as Trael. Maybe Vossari could help lighten the load, find a puppet for him to control the company. Keep it a turn-key operation, and truly just a source of passive income.

Vossari was wont to remove his lightsaber, but remove it he did. He handed it to Trael to sneak out. "I'll check in with the landing security and inspections here, you sneak out our weapons. We meet at the closest..." He heard New Alderaan had expansive forests and wild fish, and he was a wrean after all. "Seafood restaurant. I'll see you in a few." Clad in his environmental suit, Vossari opened the landing to the ship and met with the security crew. They were a pair of ugnaughts, with kind faces and greasy hands.

"Howdy, friend. Welcome to New Alderaan. Let's just get your landing clearance, we'll do a quick weapons sweep, and be outta your hair. How's that sound?" Vossari gave a thumbs up. With his right hand.

Vossari tried to distract them from the door so Trael could move on by. "Our ship took some exterior damage from a building collapse. Any chance you could take a look at it? I'll pay a fair price to any mechanic to get it working like new again." Two birds with one stone. The ugnaughts moved away from the exit of the ship towards the wings and engine, focusing in on the damage.

"Yeah, this might set you back a few credits, but we'd be happy to investigate." Vossari hoped this little diversion was enough time for Trael to move.

Trael listened to Voss's idea and couldn't help agreeing to it. If he distracted the guards Trael could slip by unnoticed. "Seafood doesn't sound bad." He clipped both lightsabers on his belt as Vossari walked out before putting on a jacket that covered them. He gave the acolyte a minute before going into force camouflage. He simply strode past the group as they talked, Vossari would feel Trael pass even if he couldn't see him.

Once he got towards the entrance of the landing zone he dropped his camouflage before walking out. New Alderaan was a beautiful world, even the city scape itself was pleasant on the eyes. He began making his way through the city streets till he stumbled upon a seafood restaurant.

As he walked inside he quickly let out a sigh, Of course it's a high end restaurant. I wonder if Azar likes seafood? He walked over to the booth an requested a booth for him and Voss. He pulled out his phone and texted the acolyte, There's a restaurant down the street. The table is under a Mr. Donatti. He began looking over the menu while he waited for his guest to arrive.

Vossari spent another minute inspecting the ship with the Ugnaught mechanics. Vossari looked at his phone as TRAEL (BEARDGUY)💥 texted him.

k dude b there soon

Voss walked in, clad in environment suit, to a suit-and-tie restaurant. Did this place have a dress code? It, at the very least, would be a great place to eat. It sat right on a freshwater body, and speeders ran
up and down the lake. They could watch them speed on by from their seats.

Vossari sat across from Trael, taking off his helmet and shaking out his hair. He ordered an expensive glass of fresh juice and the catch of the day, to start. He followed up with a platter of oysters. "Well, we made it. What's the plan, Mr. Osso?"
Vossari loudly slurped an oyster as it reached the table. "Oh, can we get some bread for the table, too?"

Vossari recounted their journey as bread and olive oil reached the table. "You know, you're pretty chill." For a Sith, at least. The last person he had said that to was Param. Yet, Vossari sensed the two of them were different. Perhaps both were too...permissive for the Order's standards, but Trael had ideas and plans that he could execute when they didn't execute. Param had once owned a mining company too, though, and now that was back in Tempest's hands. Trael would need a way to protect his power.

"Cut me in to the deal. 10% is all I need. I'll give a cut to the big boss..." Tempest. "But, you know I could add value on that 5%. Think about it as a matter of security. If you ever need someone to support you with this company again, I'll literally be on the payroll."

The fish arrive, steaming, guts stuffed with a delicious smelling, green assortment of vegetables, spices, and rice. Vossari began to dig in.

Trael had ordered a sampler type of meal. It had crab legs, lobster, fresh local fish and oysters. He ordered a tequila sunrise to drink. He turned to look as he began ordering half the menu. "I don't have a plan yet. We need to see what the building they live in is like." He rolled his eyes as Voss asked for bread as well.

"I'm pretty chill? Why because I don't have the disposition to hurt you because of my ego?" He knew most of the Orders members acted out at the slightest hint of a challenge and those that didn't were seen as weak. Trael preferred keeping his cool and remaining collected in such situations. In his mind allowing someone else to draw you to action is as much of a weakness as being unable to do so.

Trael thought about the proposition for a little bit before speaking, "That would put you under the companies payroll, not mine. You would have no reason to help me if someone else was to take the company and leave your cut alone. So why even give away any of it?" Normally he wouldn't mind cutting someone in on a share of an asset he was working on collecting, but this was his nest egg in a sense. Something he could slowly build up over time without the need of Sith intervention.

His plate came, it had a set of large crab legs with the garlic butter dripping off of it. Along with that was a lobster tail with a thing of butter in the cracked shell. A fish fillet finished out the meals main course. It had a dozen oysters as an appetizer as well.

Vossari slurped down crab legs and slammed some fish. Being a wrean, Vossari much preferred fresh, raw fish to caught and cooked. Yet, there was something delicious about the spice assortment and blend aboard the fish. Plus a flute of garlic oil? Ooh, it was to die for.

He nibbled on some lobster as he began to think.. "Think about it, T. We make a good team. You cut me into the deal, I have a permanent stake in the protection of one of your assets. You retain sole decision making power." He rattled around some more lobster in oil, before worming it down his gullet. He sighed, satisfied. "Besides, it might look less...strange to the press, when they find out the ownership has changed." It didn't matter to Voss to be majority owner at all. He cared about having a substantial stake in a kyber mine, an incredible resource that could make him wealthy with little investment.

Right now, he was still broke. He didn't even really have a place to live! So a steady stream of income would be a massive boon to protect. Speaking of...

The check came. Vossari looked Trael dead in his eyes. "T, I'm broke. I've got a plan, though." Without further explanation, he ran towards the railing and dove off into the river below.

Trael unlike his companion was more methodical eating his food. Taking his time to savor the individual pieces of it and try to figure out the spice palette so that he could replicate it. Though his oysters he did slip down like they were going to run away. He was about to start working on his lobster tail when Voss began speaking.

He began breaking the shell as he held out his fork to the wrean, “How about we make a deal that would be more lucrative for you in the long run?” He questioned waving the fork in a circle. “I plan on using this company to solidify control over the mining of the entire planet of Subterrel. If you help me I’ll cut you in say, 15% of the combined other companies. That means you’ll have 15% of a much larger operation and basically a planets worth of mining.” It also saved Trael of having to split the gem company with anyone else. He’ll just have to remember to keep it separated.

He looked at Voss confused as he began speaking of a plan before they hit jumped into the river after looking at the check. He let out a loud sigh as the waitress looked at him perplexed, “He’s species is aquatic and he was beginning to dry out.” He payed the check and walked out standing at the river bank. He stared at the still water weighing his options on how to get Voss to him. He rested his hand on the water and quieted his mind as he searched for Voss’s Force signature. Once he found it he tried telepathically linking to him, “If you don’t get over here I will electrocute this water.” His tone was dead serious, while he normally didn’t care to pay it was different when the other person simply ran away.

A larger share of a larger conglomerate? "You're too kind, Trael. You can cut me in at 10%." Whatever 'charity' or kindness he was offering, Vossari wouldn't take it. He wanted 10% of the responsibility for this organization - 15% felt like a drift from 'silent money maker' to 'actually having to get off of his ass and work.' He was working on SO MUCH!

From the river below, Vossari could see a private VIP room for executive dinners that the restaurant possessed. A room with a rather young-looking trio of executives and aging businessmen giving presentations. Before you shock me... Vossari cautioned Trael. What do the heirs to the company look like?

Could it be possible that the Force gave them a useful coincidence, for once, on Trael's mission to collect these assets?

Trael looked at him with raised eyebrows. Why would someone willingly take a lower cut? He shrugged, "If you only want 10% we can do that instead of the 15. But it will still be apart of the larger conglomerate. Need you to have some motivation to still aid me." He knew that while Voss was still an acolyte he could freely utilize him as he needed for the most part, but once he became champion that wouldn't be the case.

His hand was just above the water. He was half expecting a smart ass response. But Voss instead asked him about the heirs look. "A male Bothan about your age and a female Togruta roughly my age. Do you see something?" He wasn't sure what Voss spotted so he stopped from shocking the water.

The trio of executives consisted of the two targets an unknown one. The presentation seemed to be on the costs vs profits of expanding into the kyber industry.

Vossari smirked to himself, having sucesfully talked himself out of a better deal. He obviously still had some kinks to iron out. Vossari reached out with the Force, extending his Force Sight in the direction of the of the building. While he could not make out the finer details of their features, Vossari sensed the outlines of their shapes. The furry, long-snouted outline of a Bothan. The head trails of the Togruta. They were talking about kyber. It was all too good to be true.

So Vossari waited, to confirm his suspicions. His helmet zoomed into the best window he could find, scoping them out as they went about their meal and presentation. Vossari saw slides of rising profits,

From the vantage point of the river, Vossari could see everything. He spotted an aquarium on the interior of the room, and wished desperately now that he could use the Yacombe power of proxies to control the mind of one of those fish. To be inconspicuous yet all seeing was Vossari's goal. He desired the absolute control of information.

“This might take a while, Trael. Get comfy.” Hours passed before the two left the restaurant. Vossari used the opportunity to collect some intel.

He noticed in the parking lot, an immaculate speeder limousine with a driver. Vossari telepathically linked to Trael.

“Knock out that driver and take that car. I have an idea.” Moments later, and Trael, along with a dripping wet Vossari, were in the front seats of the speeder limo. When the two absentminded and lusciously wealthy heirs entered into the car, Vossari locked the doors.

Another win for kidnapping!

Trael sat and waited while Voss did his recon. The Wrean never clued him in on what he saw. Luckily Trael just assumed it had something to do with their targets. He had to trust in Voss, something he knew he'd regret at some point. He knew Voss had his uses so relying on them wasn't an issue.

Trael did not like sitting around for hours waiting to see Vossaris plan come to fruition. What even had he noticed? Why didn’t he clue Trael into his plan? Somehow they passed the time mostly by just talking about random things. Though Voss occasionally asked Trael more specific questions that he gave the answers to.

When they left the restaurant Voss’s attention diverted to a limousine. He then telepathically got messaged by Voss and was told to knock out the driver. “Most champions would’ve choked you for telling the to do something you know.” He said through the link, though if it was meant as a warning or just shit talk wasn’t able to be deciphered. Trael simply walked over to the guard and used dull senses on him. The guard collapsed unconscious and Trael threw him into a bush nearby.

Trael took the drivers seat while the soaking Voss was his copilot. It wasn’t long before the two heirs were in the car and Voss locked the doors. Trael looked over at Voss and gave him a nod of approval as he drove the limo towards the warehouses of the city. Though his attitude needed an adjustment Voss had the makings to end up a good champion if he learned to temper his attitude.

It wasn’t long before they were in a warehouse both heirs tied up to a chair and blindfolded. Trael stood there silently trying to decide if he wanted to try to get the information the easy way or let Vossari take a crack at it. After a minute of silence he looked over to Voss, “This was your idea. You can do the honors.” He stated emotionlessly as he took a step back.

The dark halls of the warehouse echoed with each step Vossari took towards the heirs. Eagerly, with a viper's grin, he pulled off their blindfolds as if unveiling a lovely present. "Alright, heirs to the Sub-Torrel Mining Corporation! I have a deal to make." They should be more pliable than their parents. Their parents were actual CEOs, who had invested tremendous personal time and investment into their mining corporation. The heirs were just rich party kids who wanted to get back to that.

"Let's be real: You don't have any interest in running this company. Me and my associate, however, do." Their sweaty, nervous faces indicated that they had no idea who they were looking at. The Togruta still took a chance to say something defiant, though.

"Aren't you a little young to be a mining executive?"

Vossari chose not to respond with words, instead deciding to let the leaky pipes speak for him. Vossari coiled the dirty water into his hands as he approached the two of them, a grim look in his eye. A little force-assisted waterboarding later, and the heirs were much more willing to negotiate!

"Wait, wait," she sputtered between coughs, "We can talk. Please, just...I don't want to die."

"Perfect! Because I want you to live your best life. You'll still be stupid rich - me and my companion will grant you permanent, non-voting shares on our organization so you can have all the money you'd ever need to retire young." Vossari gestured at Trael. "But from now on, he is the acting owner of the corporation. Sound fair?"
