CONDUIT IN THE FORCE

It is rare for one to be so closely attuned to the Force that it becomes difficult to separate the Force and reality. The time that it manifests is difficult to pinpoint, but the connection of young Conduits are generally believed to grow with their connection to the Force. Evidence of Conduits within history is difficult to surmise and often misidentified as mental conditions due to the effects of being a conduit.

Conduits can see visions from the past and future as well as hear the voices of those whose consciousness are within the stream of the Force: typically the deceased who become one with the Force. These manifestations could be felt so strongly that it can be difficult for the Conduit to believe that it is merely a vision.

When one obtains greater control over his powers, a Conduit could share his experiences with others through meditation. This allows for more intuitive understanding of seemingly obtuse visions of the Force. An experienced enough Conduit can even allow another within proximity to enhance their own abilities; with the Conduit's assistance, the Force user could interact with distant objects or people, but such a feat would place great strain on the Conduit and create disturbances in the Force traceable to the Conduit's location. (See Intent section)

Because of their constant inner struggles, Conduits tend to have great difficulty with performing any sort of mental training. Even physical training can be a struggle due to the constant afflictions caused by Force visions and echoes. Despite their deficiencies in both areas, it is actually the Force is the most dangerous enemy to a Conduit, simply due to how tightly connected the Force and the Conduit are.
Intent

This power is designed to provide a unique problem for my character. The drawbacks of this power is intended to never be fully fixable through research and training, which results in the character always being a little unhinged at times. I wanted to have the dynamic of a character who is never really in full control of herself, which seriously limits where the character can go, yet still capable of contributing to a story in a meaningful way.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE ***
The use of a Conduit's power to enhance another's Force powers, such as for the mentioned influence of distant objects, is not meant for use in PvP scenarios.

So I'm going to be a little honest, I am not sure that I am comfortable with this. It would be a step off course in general to approve a force power or ability for a singular character - (last timeline, for example, the only way to even do this was to be level 4 and submit a capstone perk, something only a scant few characters ever achieved in the first place) - especially one as relatively nebulous as this one.

As far as I can tell with my interpretation of this article, the things you are looking to achieve with this from a character and story perspective could easily be done without it. Force visions are something we see occur numerous times in canon by a wide range of characters. Boosting an ally's abilities could be done with battle meditation.

A character can have unsolvable or extremely harmful internal struggles in the way it seems you want this character to have without tying it to some rare force power/ability/occurance (not sure what this would technically be tbh).

I'm having a hard time justifying its approval.

Fair point with Battle Meditation, though I don't believe simply saying the character sees Force visions more often really describes the situation that I wanted to have for the character. From my understanding, visions typically occur for characters because there is some sort of purpose for the character to discover. In the situation that I am presenting, that isn't the case. The visions (and echoes, if the vision is from seeing past events) are constant and there isn't any rhyme or reason to it: it's basically like white noise. The fact there isn't any clear purpose to it is part of what makes it confusing for the character to figure out.

I had envisioned the conduit concept as similar to a Force nexus, where energies tend to concentrate, leading to abnormal incidences regarding the Force.

EDIT: Let me try to explain it in a different way: when others sense a Conduit, they sense a concentration of the Force much like how one can sense the dark side of the Force in the cave on Dagobah. Since it is tied to a living being, the person in question feels more strongly pulled into the mysticism of the Force and is therefore more strongly influenced by the Force. This is really a double-sided sword: although the person in question is tied closely with the Force, and has greater potential because of it, the person is more vulnerable to others using the Force on that person than your typical Force user.

I can concede on the power enhancing aspects since it was more of an add on as I was thinking about how a character would interact with others. That can easily fit under the character's progression with Force powers.

After discussing this more in depth with Lavi in PMs he has decided to archive it and see how the character develops in RP.
