IR would be better as the thread and much of the plot is taking place deep in IR territory. Thanks @KinkyPrawn , but I think @christhebarker is probably going to be a better match. But i might be able to use you for a later thread in the plot if you are down?

Well, this is a tech plot, and this is thread 1. It's gonna be pretty straight forward. My character is going into the imperial fleet offices on Courscant to try and get a Corvette placed under her command. She will pretty much assuredly be turned down. Your character can come in however you wish. You can say that my character called you in to support her claim, or you can be there for your own reasons and get involved in the conversation.
