Syrax had just arrived to the Enclave of the Shade Order on the planet of Thyferra. He had never been off of Naboo before so this was a whole new experience for him. He was a young man, 20 now. And he had never had any experience with the Force or combat. He knew he was able to move small objects with simple will power. He had seen his new masters Lightsaber and wanted one. When he was younger he had found a cave one day while out picking some fields. The cave was full of shiny crystals of all colours and shapes. He had no idea what they were, what they were sued for or anything of the sort. He had kept one of them, It was white and clear and round shaped. He carried it always, even now. He was sure it had a purpose and in his pocket he fingered it nervously.

In the valley he had a look around, it was a long sized field. If put in to Earth terms it was the length of three American Football fields. And surrounded by a thick forest on all sides. The grass was short in some areas and longer in others. And there were signs of battles and training all around. Up ahead there was a temple, large and powerful looking. There was a massive set of stairs in the front leading up to the entrance. He was in a small amount of awe at the sight.

"master Is this the right place? It looks amazing"

The heat was terrible, the tropical climate of the planet made it so it was humid and constant. Constant sweat was not an uncommon characteristic for foreingers and outlanders, as Anner had learned due to its own experiences. Unfortunately for her, she disliked both cold and heat, as one came out as painful and the other one as an unavoidable nuisance while on the outside or under the sun, also leading to headaches and a whole other problems, both of them paired with a monochrome visage inducing deadly boredom on beholders.

Anner was in one of the structures at the south of the temple, sitting on the rocky side of the top of the ladder, watching the obstacle course at the end of them, echelons. The outfit was certainly much better than the first time she arrived at the temple, now wearing a sleeveless white shirt, and green loose pants below. Along her waist there was a brown belt with two lightsabers on it, both had green paintings over the silvery trademark color of the hilts, like that of a tatoo or tribal marks.

She frowned to the sun and nodded towards the newcomer as she heard the sound of his voice, while waiting for him to climb up all the stairs. And thats when the ironical morbidity would start.

Syrax looked up and saw his new master Anner. he was relieved, the planet was indeed hot and muggy, not something he liked. He was used to it, true, after all he had worked fields most of his life in places just as hot but still... He reached the ladder and began to climb. A million thoughts all competed for dominance, What were they going to do? How hard would it be? How long will it take to complete this training? All ideas he had no answer for. Syrax reached the top of the ladder and looked at his master "What now"

Make yourself comfortable first -she said while pointing with her left arm towards the other horizontal end of the ladder- As much comfortable as you can be on a rock, anyways -added with a shrug, the enclave wasn't known because its comfort. It became obvious then, if it wasn't already, that her whole left arm was a robotic prosthetic. The details of the arm itself were hard to appreciate, but the hand and wrist however, possessed a finesse and style that still had to reach the medical facilities of the galaxy.

But of course, not everyone had the same resources.

We'll start with the basics, there is no chance you can die doing this yet unless a meteor arbitrarily decides to crash on the planet and kill you -said in order to calm her padawan, who was already very calm himself. Most likely because of the memories she herself had of her first time with the Shade, which were not very calm at all- I believe you are already familiar enough with the concept of the force, or was there something I missed? -she asked conceding a small pause before starting. Her eye, the only one she had left, as the other one was covered by a black eyepatch, was staring at Syrax as she speaked.
