Mira listened intently, relieved as finally being put down. Yet she covered her relief as if it never existed, she didn't need relief. When he asked her the question of battle, she had to think for a little bit. What did she really know?
"All knowledge of battle I have learned through emotions and the dark side. If I am to disregard that, then I know nothing."

The Seneschal shook his head, rubbing two fingers along his brow in mock annoyance. "My point exactly, Prospect. Emotion made you weak, because without its power you were feeble. What you learned does not draw its power from your emotions, but from your skill. Your first lesson shall be to spar with me in armor," he stated, pointing towards an armory at the side of the room. "Every Knight needs to understand the workings of their armor, and how to adjust their combat to compensate for its protection. To defend against every blow would be a waste of energy when the armor is fully capable of assisting you in this matter," he grabbed the Prospect by the shoulder and guided her along to where the armor rested. Whether or not she wanted this armor, it was imperative that she understood how to fight with its protection. Every piece of armor required minor adjustments in stance and angles of attack; every extra pound of weight altered the wearers dexterity and fortitude.

Several training sabers were borne upon a rack, alongside blasters and other implements of war. It was important to use a training saber in these exercises, even though the armor was made of cortosis weave and resistant to lightsaber strikes, any mistakes with a real lightsaber would inevitably lead to massive injury and likely death. In this drill, he fully expected Mira to be ready to accept hits whilst counter-attacking fiercely.

Mira was nervous, and quite afraid once her master spoke of the armor. It wasn't the fact of relying on it that scared her slightly, it was the actual process of getting it on. She could see through the force, but her sight registered inanimate objects, clothing, as simple transparent objects. She had run into her fair share of walls, when not really focusing. She didn't think it would be proper to mention she hadn't changed her robes in quite a few months, for the reason of not owning anything else and for the reason of not being very good at wearing anything other than her black robes.

Yet still, she would try, suppress her fear, and get it on over her robes anyway. She picked the armor off the rack, and began fitting on. She slowly felt over the armor, searching for each strap and adjustment she could make to cause it to be more form fitting. After around ten minutes of this, she had finally gotten it all on, and she was minimally proud of herself. She clipped her real blade to her belt and picked out two training sabers. Turning around, she said.

"I am ready, master."
