Trys arrived with several Jedi at a maximum security facility on Coruscant. This was a CSF office, not Ranger, and that meant it had extra protection and guards at the ready. There were camera feeds everywhere and strict protocols were followed.

Rowa was transferred to a holding cell, and he would just be coming out from his sedation. Trys walked over to confer with the Jedi, debating on what to do with the evidence. She found Oren and went over the notes she had collected.

“Have a councilor assess the sabers,” Trys explained, “I’m going to leave the talking to you. This guy seems...confused,” She had a hard time placing Rowa as someone that would be a mass murderer, but they had to do their due diligence in unearthing information.

“Lieutenant,” One of the Rangers that had been investigating returned, “We have collected the coordinates of the last several locations the ship has traveled. We have also found some armor and equipment aboard.”

“Excellent work,” Trys nodded, “Provide the coordinates to our Jedi friends and they can help analyze the other items from the ship,” She turned back to Oren, “I’ll let you handle the prisoner. I’ll do a piss poor job of not punching a red saber suspect in the face right now and I don’t think that’s productive for anyone,” Trys smiled sheepishly. She would remain behind with the other Jedi and Rangers to continue evidence processing.

No matter how many times Oren entered this facility, he would still feel goosebumps run down his spine and arms. He had spent two years of his life confined among the halls of this prison, and all of the memories of the men he had met, still lingered each time he had entered the facility. He had arrived with a few other senior Jedi who were tasked with looking into all leads they could on this mysterious, Rowan.

The Jedi Master had been mostly silent, observing and listening to the different information that was being pulled, reports and healthy debates among Sector Rangers and even a few of the Jedi. Oren had to admit, seeing his people working with the Rangers and the galaxy, did bring some rejuvenated energy to his aging body.

When Officer Trys approached him, he couldn't help but smile. "Ma'am." He'd say with a gentle bow, "Our Council Member is in the other room, if you have your people provide them with the sabers, they will be able to assist you in that." He'd pause, as the Officer gave him the duty of talking with the man. "Y-yes.." He'd say with a gentle nod, "I'll see what I can do."

He wouldn't stand around much longer and would instead head towards the door, pausing to look back towards the Officer, "You did a good job Trys." He wouldn't stay to see her reaction and instead would head into the buffer room, as the guards would slowly bring in in a heavily restrained Rowan, a sheet of metal and glass standing between the two of them.

A soft smile would form on the Jedi Master's face as he crossed his arms, "You know..it's actually quite funny," his mechanical hand would point towards the room, "Nearly three years ago, I was sitting in the same room..and being asked the same questions." He'd slightly pace back and forth, the movement helping center himself. "I'm Oren Zapan, a Master of the Jedi Order, and I've lived the life of a Jedi for thirty years now." He'd turn to stare at the man, gauging his reaction, "One of the first things you learn when becoming a Jedi, is this notion of a second chance, a redemption of sorts. Our order was founded on this notion and it's the bedrock that makes up any Jedi. It sounds like your life, it was a difficult one, one that you experienced pains and problems that would break most men. Let me help you, I can help you with these Rangers, and provide you with a path towards finding a second chance. But, I need you to help me, by being truthful about who you truly are." His eyes would narrow as he readied himself in the force, he would study the man's every action and movement, and his emotions. The first step to redemption was honesty and self reflection, and hopefully this man would be that.

Sada-Nau had arrived at the secure CSF facility right behind Master Zapan, garbed in her simple and practical sleeveless tunic, her lightsaber turned over to security or left behind if it was necessary to do so. She was guided through the facility by an officer who introduced himself as Hank Collins, an eager young man who didn't seem to quite know what to make of the small crowd of Jedi showing up at his workplace. Sada-Nau chatted good-naturedly with him as they walked the halls toward the room the new prisoner's things were being prepared for looking over and ended up talking to him about his family. He seemed very proud as he spoke of his wife and newborn daughter, bringing a smile to the Councilor's face. Though she had lost her birth parents at a very young age, Sada-Nau had found a new one in the Jedi Order and was always pleased to hear about the happy families of others, and herself brought an almost motherly guiding hand to other Jedi.

By the time they reached the room Officer Collins had relaxed considerably, speaking easily with the older woman. Sada-Nau thanked him for guiding him and moved into the room, greeting the staff inside and introducing herself. The staff had placed several of Rowa's things on the table, most prominent of which were a pair of lightsabers. Even at a small distance Sada-Nau could feel a lingering darkness seeping from them. She approached the table,
"May I?"she asked and received a nod in response, the officers watching and giving off a sense of mixed cynicism and curiosity. "Would you mind taking notes of what I say?" she requested of one of the staff. The man's eyebrows went up in an expression of mild bemusement but he nodded and prepared a datapad nonetheless.

Long, delicate fingers reached down and closed slowly around one of the hilts as Sada-Nau opened herself to the Force, focusing on the item in her hand. It flowed from the greater universe, into and through the Jedi Councilor and the weapon she held and back again, connecting them both and transcending the passage of time.

A minute passed before she said anything, experiencing a myriad of sensations and visions through the item before she focused on more relevant details, a difficult trick when using Psychometry. Methodically she went through them, speaking first specifically of the events on the station in vivid and specific detail while the officer next to her copied her words down onto the datapad, the man leaning in further as Sada-Nau seemed to pull information missed by security cameras apparently out of thin air.

A particularly strong impression in the history of the weapon drew Sada-Nau's attention and she allowed herself to be pulled towards it, a focal point around with part of the shadowy energy gathered. She saw a man, different than the prisoner, engaging in wholesale slaughter of T-visored men and women, relentless in his efforts. She asked the note-taking officer to write down some of what she saw, but refrained from going into excess detail beyond physical features of those involved and the sigils of the Mandalorian clans seen.

After fifteen minutes of this she placed the hilt back on the table and took a slow, deep breath, allowing the Force to sweep away the lingering embers of darkness that tried desperately to cling to her from the violent memories. It would take some time to gather other less recent or emotionally charged information from the lightsaber, and it was often best not to allow one to sink too deep into such things for too long. Besides, she still had to meet with Lieutenant Aran and Master Zapan along with the prisoner.

She thanked the officer for taking notes, took them in hand, and turned back to the door to address Officer Collins.
"Can you take me to see Lieutenant Aran, please?" she asked, starting with the first person on her list. Sada-Nau had been keeping up with the media of course, and the Council had discussed the Rangers at length more than once. It would be lovely to finally meet the person serving as the face of the red saber investigations in person. Officer Collins nodded and led the Councilor to a larger adjacent room where the other Jedi and Rangers handling the not insignificant amount of other evidence was being scanned, catalogued, and analyzed.

As before, Collins stayed at the door and Sada-Nau thanked him for his help. She walked over to the woman she recognized from the broadcast and bowed softly.
"Lieutenant Aran. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." she said, quite sincerely. From what Sada-Nau could tell she worked very hard at her job and was doing her best to understand these strange new people she was now working with. She offered up the datapad. "There may be more information, but it can't be gathered all at once." She kept her explanation simple, not because she believed Aran wouldn't understand but because she knew the idea of seeing the past by touching things was a confusing subject, and the woman seemed stressed enough at the moment.

Her thoughts briefly turned to the prisoner. The emotional impressions she had received through the man's weapon did not bode well, but perhaps he was not entirely lost to the Dark Side. After all, none but the most truly evil individuals are beyond redemption. She only hoped when he was shown the path he would make the right choice.

Rowa's eyes began to flicker open as the drugs began to wear off. He groaned as he pulled himself up, finding that he was still bound by the wrists and now in an enclosed cell. He began to sit up and crack his neck. He began to think of ways to try and escape, but one look around him made him think the contrary. He shook his head and ultimately decided the futility, "This is the way of the Galaxy I suppose?" he grumbled, "You do the right thing and you get thrown in Jail...No wonder this Galaxy is going to hell" he said, a chuckle coming from his throat, something that genuinely made him react with confusion and surprise.

As he sat on the flat slab for a bed and crossed his legs, closing his eyes and beginning to meditate. He opened himself up to the Force, both the dark...and the light. The Eternal proclaimed that the Dark Side was the natural way of the Force. Even his own Master Xerxes declared it with his own fierce zeal, but in Rowa's experiences before and after his master's death he found both sides to serve their purpose. A weapon is only as good as his edge and Rowa wished to be as sharp as he could. As he continued to Meditate he opened his eyes to see the Jedi called Zapan staring at him and explaining his purpose. Rowa simply sighed and looked back.

"What more do you want me to tell you?" he asked, "Though I don't seeing it matter cause apparently you will call me a liar again" he let out a heavy breath as he lowered his head to the floor, "If I had not even helped that Jedi I wouldn't even be in this mess in the first place but-"

"Because you are a good Person." her voice and words rang in his ears as he recalled them. A strange chill ran down his spine as the words began to sink in. He shook his head and looked back to the Jedi.

"...I could be wrong about that though it is irrelevant." He closed his eyes before lowering his head again, "In the end I'm not supposed to be right or wrong, but just what I am." he said as he leaned his head against the wall behind him, looking back at the Jedi before turning to a wall, "sarlu'r" he repeated as he turned to look up at the ceiling...

A small smirk would form on the man's face, "Heh..I can't speak for your crimes or if you committed any yourself, that's for the Rangers to decide." he'd say with a sigh, as he leaned up against the glass, as he peered towards the meditating man. He seemed conflicted on his nature, and he could feel a dark cloud hanging around his aura.

"I never claimed you were lying," he'd say sharply, "I just was saying that you're not telling me everything you do know." He would pull himself up from his position as he crossed his arms. "It's clear to me that the darkside of the force clings to your body, regardless if you wanted it there or not. It can be removed, but it's about accepting your actions and your past. But, I need the truth from you so we can move forward."

Oren had suspected that there were multiple different religious orders working together, the Knights of Ren did not operate like the Rain or The Arcanist, and it seemed their objectives did not seem to co-exist. How many other religions were among their group, was unknown to the Jedi Master, but he was sure they would slowly find out more as time came along. "I have a feeling that the truth is going to be revealed, but I would prefer the words come from you, so I can help you." He'd smile, "Do you have an affiliation with the Knights of Ren?"

Rowa looked back, "You called me a liar on the station, after I told you what happened to my teacher" he sighed and turned back to the Ceiling, "It matters not You still won't believe me so why bother even trying to fight it. If you guys want the weapons take em...Actually if you just want the Krystals they're all yours when...or if...I get out of here." He gave a sigh as the Jedi asked about the Knights of Ren...

"The Knights of Ren?" he paused looking at Zapan curious, "I met A Knight of Ren but knights plural? Not so much." he replied as he looked back up to the Ceiling

The Jedi would tilt his head slightly, "I never said you were lying about your master being dead," his words ring with a calmness, he didn't hate the man, he just found him interesting, and someone who was only telling half truths. "I said you were lying because you didn't know the significance of that blade, and that you weren't telling me the truth about everything you are.." His words were pointed and sharp.

"How is a man supposed to believe someone at their word, you yourself just claimed to have met a Knight of Ren, you have a red saber..two of them to be exact, you're trained in the force, and can wield a saber in ways that match a Jedi." He'd sigh, Rowa wasn't tricking him at all, and he knew there was more to the man he had let on at that moment.

"We both know that a random man didn't train you, and most don't simply meet a Knight of Ren and live to tell the tale, I will give you one more chance to come clean with me on your full history, we both know that the truth will come out, and as I mentioned twice now, I'd prefer to hear it from your lips--so I can help you.."

Rowa let out one more heavy breath before standing up, turning to face the Jedi with eyes not of hate or anger...but a bluntness to them in those silver eyes, "My Name is Rowa, My master was Xerxes, and from the age of 3 till five years ago I was trained to use what you call Dark Side of the Force" he said as blunt as his eyes, piercing into Zapan as he sensed not darkness not anger but...Blunt. "My Master crafted those sabers for the both of us, where he got those crystals i know not. As I said before I have no clue where he came from or who he served...unless the Natural State of the Force or Dark Side as you call it counts. My Master was not exactly kind. He was a good man and a good teacher...but a lousy human being" he said, letting out a chuckle, something that genuinely surprised Rowa, "As for him being killed by some dark warrior? Well do I really have to say it? I bet even that young Jedi figured that one out." he said, almost challenging Zapan to read between the lines.

"As for me meeting a Knight of Ren that is true. But it would appear he attempted to recruit me seeing i am what you say a fellow darksider. I did a job but it was more along my tastes anyway...While I am a warrior I am also a seeker. I am one who wishes to gain knowledge. Knowledge of the various cultures and peoples...Languages and foods...music and literature...and of course the secrets of the natural state of the Force and its endless needed cycle of life death and rebirth. As for what happened to the Knight I know not. After the job I parted ways with them with the promise of thinking about it. Though after you asked I'm going to assume they've done more than just go through ruins?" he said as he drew one more breath before finishing his sentence. As far as he was concerned that was all he was asked of him and stood there at attention, "As for what else I know I do not. I am a weapon, that was all I needed to know from my Teacher." he explained as he felt a sense of ease for saying it...it felt...interesting, "And if you are asking if I have any affiliation with others no. My Master wasn't exactly a team player, but since his death I have been searching for a master ever since. Someone to use this weapon to its full potential..." he said, keeping eye contact with the Jedi.

The Jedi would place his mechanical index finger against the pit of his chin as he listened to the man, nodding along, his eyes were soft, and didn't display any outwards judgement or emotion. He had admitted what the man had begun to figure, a user of the darkside and one that had worked with a Knight of Ren in the past. This was crucial information, and the man had taken the first step towards making his life better.

"You're not first I've heard to mention this, seeing yourself as a tool. It doesn't have to be that way, you did the right thing explaining yourself. You might not see it now, and I won't force you to find the light or redemption, the darkside of the force is indisious and intoxicating, and it will break you eventually." He'd turn towards the guards with a nod, "I will look into the case, and others I'm sure will talk to you soon. Rowa..." He'd turn back towards the man, "May the force be with you."

He'd exit the questioning room, and made his way towards where the councilor and Trys were waiting. "Officer Aran and Councilor Tin, our suspicions were correct. He was trained from early childhood in the arts of the darkside by someone named Xeres..and he also confirmed that he met a Knight of Ren and even did work with them at one point."

He'd cross his arms as he thought back over the conversation, "Another interesting thing that I caught, was he used a few Mandalorian words, which hints at an origin possibly..Were you able to find any information from these sabers and the ship?" He'd peer towards one of the blades, "When we're done here, I will take the Kyber and purify them, they've been through too much as is.." Things were going to get interesting.

Trys listened to Oren’s words and was dismayed to find that their suspicions turned out true. She pondered for a moment, rubbing her chin in thought, “What do you recommend be done with him? We don’t have much on him outside of the mutilation in self defense. As for all the other stuff, he can’t be rehabilitated by Jedi? I don't believe he's entirely hopeless...he appeared to show remorse for his actions and seems genuinely misguided.”

She wasn’t sure how Jedi operated, but they often spoke about ‘redemption’ or ‘saving those that fell’. Could this red saber not be put through one of those efforts? Trys wasn’t keen on simply slapping an assault charge on him and calling it a day. It was clear the man wasn’t talking, but they still had enough evidence to retrace where his ship had been.

Trys turned to the Jedi councilor, “I suppose we see where the data from the ship and sabers lead us.”

Oren would listen to the officer, contemplating her words, he hadn't technically committed a crime per say, but at the same time he was too dangerous to simply be left to wander back into the galaxy. Oren pressed his finger against the pit of his chin as he thought for a moment. "We will take him to an undisclosed location, away from Ajan Kloss, I will have several others begin to train and teach him, he will have to begin the trials to deal with his past." He'd say with some thought, "He will be tested, and it will require everything of him to find his way."

He'd peer towards one of the sabers picking it up and feeling its weight, "I'm going to heal this saber, use the other one and the data you collected. If you need my assistance for anything, call me and I will be here." He'd bow gently towards the two of them, "May the force be with you."He had much to do, and things to plan. Life for Rowa wasn't going to be easy, but it would be a start.
