Priest's Respite

Description:

It is not uncommon for weapons to be passed down from generation to generation in the culture of mandalorians. Clan Priest is no exception. Years ago clan Priest and Clan skirata were assisting one another in an endeavor. At the end of the series of events the Skirata clan constructed a one of a kind spear as a gift to the clan. It was composed of phrik on the outside making it eternally sharp as well as resistant to light sabers, a quality that was not taken for granted.

Tradition is, when a member of Clan Priest feels times are dark, or the family's honor is in need of restoration, the supplicant will find the grave of the previous owner and dig up the weapon. After swearing an oath to deceased ancestor, the new owner agrees to carry the weapon until their death, where it will be buried with them, until needed at a future time. Should the weapon fall out of Priest hands, the Clan's honor is dependant upon it's swift return.

The weapon is collapsible, capable of telescoping down from a length of 184 centimeters to a simple 46. This made it less bulky and easy to move around. It is smaller than a Bevii'ragir, which is a traditional mandalorian hunting spear. Instead it is meant for a different style of war fighting that the original owner displayed in front of the Skiratas. It is meant to also be used as a javelin if the wielder so uses having a perfect weight for just such uses.

Intent: designed by @Darasuum for @Mirdala Priest who wanted a one of a kind family heirloom to define the backstory of his clan as well as potential relations with other clans as well. This is a one of a kind weapon and is meant to be unique. Not sure if it qualifies as generic tech but it is best to be on the safe side.

Looks pretty solid as a clan artifact. Going to tag @Clayton, though. Because, while this doesn't strike me as particularly troublesome tech, this is where Lore and tech collide, and I'd really like his opinion before I sign off on it.
