The Devaronian was the first that was being dragged out as the security forces already came rushing in, grabbing the second captive and taking him outside. The CenSec troops then secured the rest of the area and spread out, leaving the Imperials on their own for now.

Varyn had sounded serious, and she couldn't blame him. She didn't like any of this here and especially if the government was really involved in this, they had other issues to deal with than the insurgents. "Hm...do you think they'd take that risk now?" she asked him, obviously not trusting them a single bit, yet another thought crossed her mind.

"We do know they try everything to keep their identities a secret, but if they would die right now, wouldn't they draw too much unwanted attention and suspicions towards themselves?". They could call them out on the possible mole, which probably wouldn't aid their course.

"It's a good idea though...do you have one with you though? Or do you think there's a chance we can acquire access to any security cams in there?". They'd follow them to the headquarters anyway, maybe they'd get a chance to access their own cams somehow. She had picked up a few tech skills from Guin, but had no idea whether they would be enough. "Is the pain bearable?" she still wasn't fully sure about whether he needed some painkillers first.

No, but there's one back on the ship, he said. In the meantime, they would have to babysit the prisoners to make sure nothing happened before they could get the camera in there.

Means we'll have to split up again, he said. He was starting to think that they should have had more people sent for this operation than just the two of them. Maybe he'd have to put in a request for additional reinforcements as this seemed to be way deeper than anyone had anticipated.

I can go get the camera and put in a request for assistance if you want to go with the prisoners, he said. After all, they were her prisoners. As she asked if the pain was bearable, he glanced down. Not really, but he'd make due.

I'll grab a stim back on the ship and then visit a medcenter after we're squared on this, he said.

She was rather happy about how equipped he was and thus nodded. "Perfect. Then we'll just have to find a way to sneak it in". She didn't like the idea of breaking their trust like that, but they actually had no other choice. There were way more people involved in this than they had assumed and apperently they tried all means to reach their goal and weren't too keen on the Knights' interference.

"Sounds like a plan to me" she agreed, giving him a short nod, her voice still lowered. She'd have a reason to accompany them as they had been called to help, also, the CenSec troops knew she was more than capable of handling them. Having him cross the city and reach the ship was a problem though and shs still wasn't sure whether this part was the best solution.

A stimulus would help to some extent, but maybe his reinforcement idea wasn't too bad. With a still raised brow, she let out a little sigh. "Okay, stay safe though. We'd need reinforcements rather quickly, but I'm afraid the government will grow more suspicious and thus careful if we have more Imperials piling in" she explained, sharing her thoughts on the difficult issue. Obviously, she'd go with whatever he decided, but she wasn't sure whether they could still pull this off subtly. After all, this was much more than putting down some insurgents but apparently a full blown coup.

"Alright then. I'll meet you at the prison". Regardless of whether he'd call for more support, retrieving the cam was essential. Through the comms they still had the possibility to communicate, but somehow she couldn't shake this bad feeling in the pit of her stomach that was continously spreading. Maybe the CenSec was also infiltrated? And maybe whoever was involved would take advantage of them splitting up.

They had a plan, and that meant it was time to put it into play. Catching a ride back to the landing bay, he put in a call to homebase for reinforcements and was promptly given some semi-unhelpful response. Pushing back, he finally managed to get them to agree to send in a small team of six operatives for support, though they wouldn't be on planet for nearly a day still.

Slamming a stim into his thigh, he grabbed the camera and headed back for the prison. Hopefully, things wouldn't hit the fan before he got back.

In the meantime, he took the drive back to the station to re-sort what he knew. His eyes closed as he let his mind melt into the Force while the droid made slow progress through the streets.

A weird woman at the top, a trap, insurgent attacks, a set-up on us... so where's the proof? he asked himself. Torturing the prisoners would get them answers, but was probably a no-no right now. Especially while they were in CenSec custody. Someone would come for the prisoners to shut them up... he was almost sure. They were loose ends in an organization that had snipped all of its loose ends.

And medcenter once this camera is placed, he thought to himself again as he shifted in his seat and had a shooting pain through his side. Broken ribs? Probably.

While Varyn made his way back to the ship, Kalique had a quick chat with the authorities who let her follow without much dispute. She didn't feel too comfortable with being in their presence, yet Varyn had a fair point. They could try to free themselves of the evidence by dealing with the captives quickly, so she had to keep a close eye on them in order to avoid taking any chances.

The incapacitated and cuffed bodies were being thrown into the back of the truck and Kalique insisted on riding in the same vehicle. Here, she had to use the Force to sway the mind of a rather rigid officer whose determination to keep her in a separate speeder made her even more suspicious, but in the end, she was at least 100% sure they nothing could happen to the bodies on the drive once she was in the vehicle as well.

At the security department, the prisoners were being shipped to the holding cells and as she still 'needed' her cuffs back and to 'ensure' that the awakening captives wouldn't lash out, she followed them inside, also informing them that her companion was to join them as well.

As the Knights had been called to help, they had all the reasons to be there to interrogate them as well, but for now they insisted on having two CenSec guards stay in the hallway in front of the cells, so that once Varyn would join them, they had this issue to solve in order to get the camera in position, but she waited for his judgement on that.

The captured insurgents were slowly moving, so that once Varyn strode in, they could start right away. She was casually waiting for them to stir, however searching for Varyn's eyes. They could, technically, get the camera into the cell through telekinesis, but in order to fasten in around the prisoners properly, they'd have to get inside.

Varyn made his way back to the security station to find Kalique still watching over the prisoner in question.

I see they're waking up, he said, palming one of the little cameras in his hands and flicking his head toward the cells.

Let's get asking some questions, he said. He let Kalique start the questioning while Varyn moved over to lean against the far wall. He pressed the camera to the wall behind him and leaned there, letting the adhesive take hold so it would have a decent view of the whole room.

Over the course of the several minutes of questioning, he would do the same for the other cameras as well so they had a much better view of what went on if someone came for the prisoners.

Let's let them think about what they've done, he said. The stim had helped significantly, but it wasn't a real substitute for a medcenter. Perhaps the appearance of heading out to a medcenter would lure out their assassins.

After they had taken their sweet time and Varyn rejoined them, they started their official part. "Let's see whether they're willing to share anything". She was pretty sure these cells were supervised and the CenSec were watching, so she pharsed her questions carefully.

"Let's start easy. What's your name?". No reply came, obviously, but the Devaronian woman slowly raised her head. "We can do this one way or another" she plainly stated as she slowly began to pace, glaring down at her.

"Whom are you working for" she stopped in her tracks, studying her attentively, but apart from a faint grimacing, there was nothing. "Do you need some help remembering?" she asked, obviously posing a question of rhetorical nature as she already reached in towards her with the Force and laid an invisible grasp around her wrist. The Devaronian would feel a sudden heat before it would slowly but steadily intensify.

"If you talk, maybe we can come to an agreement". There needed to be something. She suddenly began squirming under her burning grasp until the half dazed woman slowly slipped a hand into her pocket. She only pulled it out slightly, but as she was grunting in pain, Kalique's emerald gaze fell on a crumbled piece of paper.

Very curious. She began to pace again before with one quick pull she commanded through a flick of her finger, she yanked the paper close and let it slip into her hand all perfectly inconspicuously. Varyn, meanwhile, had apperently been successful as well and so she agreed. "Maybe you'll then know that it might be better to cooperate...".

She finally agreed with Varyn with a nod, finding his coded wording rather amusing but keeping a fully straight face as they walked out. Now that the cameras had been planted, they'd have to wait and watch, however who knew what they'd find? Once they'd be outside the prison and safely out of earshot, she shared what she had gathered.

"They've been purposely slow with the transfer...as if waiting for us to leave" she waited for his piece of mind, yet was relatively suspicious. "I've also found this" she extended her hand and unfolded the crumbled piece of paper which wasn't just peculiar per se because paper wasn't exactly often to be found, but what was even more interesting was that on the inside, there was an emblem with three snakes, all biting into their own tails that immediately made her raise a brow.

"The Devaronian was afraid...maybe they don't get to choose whether they want to work with them. But it looks like they're an actual organized group". This just meant more research, but it did look like an actual trace. Who or which organs of the government were in on this though?

If they'd find a place to wait and watch for now, they'd see nothing for quite a while until suddenly, someone did walk in, and this hooded someone made rather short process of the prisoners. While they hadn't searched the captives earlier, the robed figure now made it fairly clear that no one would ever talk to them again and even threw in something into the cells that immediately engulfed the whole cells in fire. "Ohhh shit, let's go!" of they were quick, they could, potentially, still catch this one, but who knew whether CenSec wasn't on full lockdown?

Despite the cameras being placed, Varyn kept an eye on Kalique. He could feel the Force flexing in this place, drawing in toward her in some form of manipulation that he couldn't quite identify, and he nudged her, giving her a serious look. He didn't know what she was doing, but they couldn't well be torturing prisoners in foreign custody. Fortunately... that didn't seem to be the case. No marks that Varyn could see at least.

As they left the area, Varyn headed down the street and angled down an alleyway. It wasn't really ideal, but it was private enough for him to strip off his torso armor and hoisted up his shirt to apply more bacta to his ribs as they spoke.

Weird, he said with a grunt as he looked at the symbol. Vaguely - or not so vaguely - reminiscent of a biohazard symbol but with more snakes.

Like a hydra. Many heads, hard to bring down, and all tangled together, he said. Hopefully that wasn't the case. He still was convinced that the governor was behind it all, but without any evidence there was nothing but a hunch.

He slipped his gear back on and already felt the cool bacta easing the aching pain in his side, a relief from the pounding pain he'd had for the last few hours. He thought he was finally going to get some time to breathe when she was suddenly leaping up again and taking off. His spine nearly lost all integrity to keep his head upright, and he started running off toward the station.

He had hoped they could catch a recording of the actual person involved, but that didn't seem to be an option with the cloak and dagger appearance.

It seemed, though, that the Force was on their side. For once today. As they rounded the corner to come into the station, the intruder actually came running out, slamming bodily - and on accident - into Kalique as they did so.

The two individuals would go down in a mess of limbs to the concrete before the cloaked person leapt up to try to take off in the opposite direction.

While Kalique oftened preferred the flexibility of a regular uniform, she had often learnt how helpful another layer of protection could be, hence she found it rather daring of Varyn to strip down in the alleyway and treat to his wounds. "Damn...they got you good, didn't they? If you need another break, take it. As long as we still have time, it's better you keep resting".

She absolutely didn't intend to lecture him, yet she couldn't deny that staying at the ship might have been a better option for him. She wasn't unscathed herself, but still better and less beaten up, so she was hoping she'd be able to handle whatever was to come next.

"It can be random...but if it's symbolic, we have a lot to work with. The connotation of snakes in general, the intertwined circles, biohazards, the element of them biting their own tales...This might be much deeper than we had expected", she added, brooding on what they had gathered so far.

It seemed to dawn them that this all looked more like a full blown conspiracy, shadow-government type of a deal than a random series of terrorist attacks. The footage then wasn't fully helpful, but as it was a live transmission, they had yet another trace.

As she began to bolt, she could feel the pain in her lips, yet it didn't stop her from dashing through the streets. [COLOR=rgb(200, 57, 0]'Stay back, maybe you can take-'[COLOR] she telepathically called back, her head turned for a second which was apparently just enough to make her run right into a hooded figure.

They collided at full speed, so she was rather grateful for the armor, but the wind was still knocked from her lungs. Still, her head rang a little and as she found herself on the ground, rather entangled with the stranger, she needed a few moments to blink and focus.

It was enough to make the cloaked figure slip out from underneath her and start off again, but she pushed herself to her knees, immediately coiled the Force around the assailant and yanked roughly. The figure collapsed with a grunt before the body hit the ground with a low grunt.

She held the person in a stasis right where they laid, slowly getting up herself and letting out a few coughs. Varyn would catch up with them in the meantime and the pleasure to reveal whoever had just killed the rebels or whatever this was, was all his.

In an ideal world, yeah. I'd have liked to go to the medcenter, but I'm not leaving a partner out to dry, he said. He'd rather die than leave his partners behind. That wasn't his business, and it would probably end up getting him killed someday.

He set off after Kalique but she pulled away in her less damaged state. Up ahead, however, he could see her take a nasty hit from the assailant, but he had to assume the other person got the worst of it.

Kalique pulled the assailant back again and Varyn leapt out as well, sending a gauntleted fist into face hard enough to leave a smear of blood on the metal and send a shock of the impact up his arm.

His saber whipped out and ignited, holding the blade over the throat of the person who stopped moving.

Hold still or I'll take your head off, he hissed, his other hand reaching out to seize the person - a woman - by the throat and shove her back against the ground. His teeth were gritted, and he recognized her.

One of the assistants from the platform, he said to Kalique. And you're going to answer our questions, he hissed.

Yes! I will! Whatever you want! I'm not willing to die for these people! she shouted.

I work for the governor! She's been trying to create enough upheaval to declare martial law! she said. Well... that was their confirmation at least.

I have proof! she said. So that just meant they needed to collect the proof and then hand it over to the political division or something, right? Varyn hoped so.

Well. So Varyn was just like her. Never leaving anyone behind and stubborn. She couldn't argue with it as she hadn't acted any differently, but she has at least tried. She was aware of how he was slower, yet it fortunately mattered little as their hooded friend fully bumped into her.

She was a little surprised that he slammed his fist into the escaping assailant but this meant that they definitely had them. She closed the distance between them and studied the exchange that immediately made her frown. Now she was giving up information willingly as well?

Together with the Devaronian in the cell, Kalique began to wonder whether this people were really convinced of what they were doing or whether the payment simply wasn't high enough. They had some kind of a confirmation, yet what where they supposed to do now?

"What proof?". Kalique asked, staring her down. "Messages...I've received instructions. Let me get them out". If Varyn let her, she'd actually present a message from an anonymous sender. "Who else is in on that?". "A few members of the Council...CenSec. The governor tries to shake everything up".

Kalique threw Varyn a glance, waiting for him to ask any more questions before Kalique would declare, "We should get off the street or they'll try to kill you. You're staying with us for a moment". Maybe they'd need her again. In order to don't have her as an unpredictable liability though, she dulled her senses, so that she had to drag her forward and use the Force yo lift her then, but at least she couldn't bring them into any immediate trouble.

"Back to a less busy alley?" she asked, wanting to plot in private for a moment, but regardless of where they chose to go in the end, she'd then ask, "So we know she's truly in on this...but it will be hard to determine who isn't. How do we even proceed if half the government might be infiltrated?" she asked, wondering whether the other Councils members who had greeted them had a clue. It didn't seem like it as they had acted differently, but who knew?

Well, as far as Varyn was concerned, it seemed a little "easy" but with how hard everything else had been so far, maybe this was just the galaxy balancing things out. Not everything needed to be hard all the time.

Bring the ship in for a pickup for three. Docking station red 82, Varyn said into his comlink, speaking to their pilots and looking at the docking station nearby. Being on their own ship in their own safety would let them have a few hours to catch their breath, regroup, and figure out what to do next.

They half-dragged, half-escorted their captive to the docking bay and Varyn quickly climbed aboard before they restrained their passenger and he threw a pair of noise cancelling earphones over her head.

Take off and fly us... I don't know, around. Orbit or something where we can be on our own, he said to the pilots who began take off sequence to leave atmosphere right away.

Alright, he said, taking a seat across from Kalique and reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose in thought.

Government conspiracy, check. Terrorists running rampant, check. I mean, what if we just turn the information over to Centares Bureau of Investigation and the ISB and let them run a full investigation. Or if CenSec is corrupt maybe we just turn it over to the Centares Senate, too, he said with a shrug. It wasn't that he was trying to pass the buck, per se, but the two of them weren't going to preform an entire investigation and trial on their own.

With the prisoners aboard, the two Knights were soon off into Orbit which wasn't simply bringing them into temporary safety, but also offering a fair chance for some actual planning where no one would be able to eavesdrop into.

As she sat down a little sigh escaped her as her beaten up body was still hurting in various areas. She pondered on his words a little while she ran through a few possible options, but as they couldn't determine who was really in on this, it was hard to find the right answer.

"So we know that this Governor is definitely in a leading position for all of this chaos...I'm not sure whether the Centares Bureau of Investigation is clean...it's really hard to say whom to trust. It sounded like this had been going on for a while, so I'm not sure..." the Knights had limited possibilities, so he wasn't wrong about involving some organization that was actually specialized with it.

"The ISB can surely shed some light. Maybe they have some agents to deploy. With the Centares Intelligence, if got to say that if someone would try to overthrow the government, it might be them. They'd have what it takes I'd assume. Why don't we invite other governmental members for a little chat to discuss the pressing affairs? They still called for help. We could update them on what we've gathered, however we'd need to find a way to keep the Governor herself out of it" she shared her thoughts while she leaned back a little, allowing her tense muscles some sort of relaxation.

"What to do with the Governor though...what is her motif? Does she want to restructure the government or is the chaos she's inflicting part of a bigger scheme?". Varyn wouldn't have an answer, but he might have his own opinion and she was interested in that. They could easily deal with the Governor herself, but well, what then? If Centares was so unstable, would it even be a valuable asset? It was still a chance for the Empire to bring the much needed order of they'd need it.

Tale as old as time: foment insurgency and then use that as an excuse to crack down with martial law. Kriff, it's what Palpatine did in the Clone Wars, he said. Maybe it wasn't the right answer, but it was all the motive Varyn needed.

He continued his thought with a gesture of his hand. If that's the case, then maybe all we need is to take the head off the snake. Arrest the governor, let diplomatic core sort out the details with the locals, and use whatever info the governor has to expose the rest of the conspiracy. If they all take their cues from her, though, then they'll hopefully fall into disarray on their own, he reasoned. It wasn't foolproof, but it was a plan at least.

We should submit reports back to command and get their advisement. I don't want a whole diplomatic incident. That'll give us a chance to get some rest, heal up, and plan how we move against the governor, he said, taking a deep breath in and rubbing his face.

After a moment he snickered with a half-smirk on his face. Nothing's ever simple, is it? he said.

You want to coordinate with the pilots to find somewhere out here in space to park for a few hours of z's and I'll start on the report, he said.

Kalique couldn't help but to nod, fully agreeing with him there. "History has a tendency to repeat itself..." it was bitter from time to time...even if here the scale didn't seem as wide after all. She listened to his outlines and again, found herself agreeing with a nod.

"A headless snake can't spread its venom...but it can't bite its tail either.." would they ruin themselves? The paid or hired rebels were obviously not very convinced and perhaps this was no more than a matter of credits. "It's a logical plan. If they don't get their orders, chaos will erupt or the attacks might just die down and they'll destroy themselves. Perhaps taking out one cog is enough to stop this machine from running".

She let out a sigh as she leaned back a little, her gaze directed at the ceiling for a moment. They had expected to put some rebels in their place, not unveil a planet wide conspiracy, but here they were. Her emerald eyes flicked back to him as he snickered and she couldn't stifle her own chuckle. "Wouldn't that be boring? I mean let's call it professional development. We keep learning to adapt" she replied with a smirk, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

"Sure, I'm right on it" she agreed as she pushed herself up to her feet, however after taking a few steps she slowly stopped and turned. "But Varyn...honestly I can do both. You need the rest more. I'm okay" she obviously wasn't in a position to order him to lay down and rest, yet she could definitely suggest it again.

"It's your call, I'm just offering". She gave him a quick smile, perhaps even hoping he wouldn't be as stubborn as she was. One way or another, she'd start with the pilot and settled on a place within Centares' orbit. They both needed some rest to recharge, yet Kalique already made up her mind about a few details. Maybe she was even dangerous...they'd soon find outl

Varyn considered her offer. He didn't like not doing what he felt like was his part, but he also couldn't argue that he had taken the worst of that explosion. The bacta and stims had helped, but they weren't a substitute for a few hours of sleep with a bacta gel on board.

Okay, he said reluctantly. But you need to get some rest, too, he warned. Still, he figured that both together would only take a couple of minutes, and he could use that time to patch his wounds again.

And that he did. Finding a corner of the ship out of the way, he peeled away the outer layer of armor again and applied a salve of bacta under the undersuit before settling in for some sleep and rest.

---

When Varyn awakened several hours later, he could immediately tell he was feeling better. The pain in his ribs was vastly improved and it had only taken a stim and two doses of military grade bacta. Bacta was great stuff, particularly for non-blaster injuries.

He pushed himself back to his feet and started layering his armor back on again.

'Nother day at the office, he snickered to himself as he made his way out into the main area again as he caught sight of their prisoner who was still fully restrained.

He would wait for Kalique and spend his time looking over the scans and schematics of the governor's office. It was a relative fortress.

I say we grab her at her home, he said. We can't have any casualties among her guards, though, he said, which would be the tricky part of all this.

She saw the conflict in his face and was pretty convinced she knew what hebwas thinking as she could relate very well. In the end, he did agree, reluctantly, but it was a yes, and so a slightly triumphant grin tugged at her lips. "I will, promised" she truthfully replied, however relieved he was prioritizing his wellbeing for now.

She did attend to her tasks by typing up something quickly right after the flight coordination. She supplied all the details they had gathered and knew it would take a while for the ISB to reply, so she moved into her cabin, started unstrapping the armor and carefully fell into bed.

She was exhausted and the pain was still present, yet after she had dozed off, she woke feeling relatively good. The pain was bearable and the rest had done wonders against her exhaustion, so she started gathering her armor again and readied herself, assuming they had received an update now.

She did stretch herself one last time before she left and made her way back to the common room where Varyn was already busy. "How are you feeling?" she asked him as she took a seat right next to him, her eyes quickly scanning what he had still open.

"Agreed...it would be best if she just vanishes unnoticed. Well, maybe we can even intercept her on her way towards her home at dusk? This way, we would have the advantage of the open...but then again, if we're very stealthy, we could try extracting her during night" she suggested, definitely preferring to operate in the dark.

One way or another, they'd have to keep this covert and be careful about everything they did...but it seemed like they were finally getting closer. Kalique had experience with sneaking into buildings, as on Desevro, the Governor's building had been similar in terms of security measures. "Have you ever done something like this?". Well, she was pretty convinced he had.

Varyn considered her suggestions for the "when" and "how" of taking the governor. His fingers tapped against the table before he took a seat, leaning back in his seat.

I'm feeling quite a bit better, he said. He wasn't back to 100% but he was close enough and certainly better than he was earlier.

I think night raid, he said. They may have to knock out a few guards still, but the Force could do a great deal in that regard. He didn't count on those guarding the governor to be weak-minded, but there were other ways to get them out of the way other than mind tricks.

Yes, I've done things like this, he said. Infiltrations for days had been his MO. Despite his attempt to join the military as a Sith, the truth was he had always been better at the intelligence side of the business. It just came more naturally.

Should be night time there anyway. You ready to move? he asked, waving to the pilots to start taking them down.

Kalique was glad to hear he was indeed better and so a soft smile tugged at the corner of her lips. She knew that some of his wounds would simply need time to heal, but the rest had probably done wonders for the two of them.

"Good" Striking at night was perhaps easier as they wouldn't have to wait for hours, but in a different regard, they'd have to infiltrate her place first. "Then let's just hope the Governor isn't expecting us to be back so soon".

It was excellent that he had experience with it as well and so she was relatively confident. "Yes. I'm all set". Was she thrilled about this nightly raid? Maybe not really...this Governor was shady and who new what else she had up her sleeve, but Kalique was still convinced they'd manage.

As the pilot began to navigate them down again, Kalique made her way back to the captive they still had, intending to interrogate her, but the woman seemed relatively weak. "Is there anything else you can tell us about the Governor? Is she careful in what she's doing or rather ruthless? Paranoid maybe even?" she asked her rather directly, but the now relatively absent, distance eyes didn't gave anything away.

"We never spoke to her directly. No idea", she did answer after a moment and her reply did sound genuine, however it was obviously useless and so Kalique made her way back to the cockpit. "We'll have to see what difficulties will face us I guess...our prisoner doesn't know anything", she briefly reported before the ship was already starting to land.

It was indeed night time already, but they still had to walk a little. "Have you figured out more security details? Do we expect sentient guards or droids?". Maybe he had been able to gather some intel.

Varyn watched as Kalique went to interrogate the woman and the woman gave such unhelpful answers.

Really, you've been so helpful, he said, sarcasm dripping from his tone to the woman. He stripped off his armor and threw on clothes that were "street" clothes with his sabers tucked away before they set off into the night. No point in standing out and practically glowing in red when doing night recon and infiltration.

Unfortunately, the target packages weren't designed for us to go after the governor, he said, which was a nice way of saying they'd be on their own.

As they drew up closer to the house, Varyn saw that it really was more of a mansion or a manor. He could make out security cameras and a few perimeter gates, and he settled in to watch.

For the better part of an hour, the two knights sat in silence as they watched who came and went from inside. He counted six distinct guards including two droids and four organics, and he knew they didn't have all night. It would have been prudent to leave and come back a different night after more recon, but Varyn had learned that improvising was often a necessity on these kinds of jobs and something... something in the back of his mind told him that it was tonight or not at all.

We should move. Over the wall, avoid the patrols and stick to the shadows. Break the cameras if we need to, he said. Speed will be the most important factor after we break the first one, he said.

Roll: 6/10 for number of guards
