[beebox4=80%]· Name: Ch'hodos

· Coordinates: R-4

· Hyperlane: Off-shoot trade lane from Hydian Way

· Climate: Arid, on Ch'hodos seasons change are not drastic due to the proximity of the planet and the fact their system's star is irradiated. This causes the seasons to have very little flux, Ch'hodos simply has two seasons, a dry and arid season, and then a wet and rainy (monsoon) season. The only area on the planet that ever sees snow on Ch'hodos is its singular mountain range and this only occurs during the three months at the heart of the monsoon season.

· Terrain: The terrain of Ch'hodos is mainly a vast desert with a rocky hill based region that builds into the continents singular mountain range at the center of the landmass. The single "ocean" the planet has covers the vast majority of the world, with the water forming caps at both the north and southern poles of the planet and then covering the most of the planets western hemisphere in a singular ocean. The result is a single vast sea that surrounds a single super continent. However, at the center of this vast sea, located directly on the equator is a series of islands that is primarily utilized as a single massive Vacation/Pleasure resort.

Tsis’Kolna – Ch’hodos’s only mountain range, located in the center of the super continent, and home to the Ch’hodosian Capital city of Tsis’stas. Its name literally translates from Sith into Basic as “Pillar of the Sith”, a name with both literal and metaphorical meaning. Many of the Pureblood citizens within Tsis’stas view this mountain as holy ground and believe it was blessed by the Dark Side itself to provide for their people always.

At the base of Tsis’Kolna are the deep mines of the Ch’hodosian people. These mines have countless entrances and the tunnels within are confusing to those that haven’t spent their lives working them as they often crisscross and lead in seemingly random directions. This design is intentional, the Kissai owners want the mines to be difficult to navigate for those that are untrained and that would seek to steal the precious gems and duranium that is mined up from there.

Despite these mines starting at the base of Tsis’Kolna they sprawl deep into the desert with various underground outposts for miners that are going deep into the tunnels to rest, eat, and sleep in. This fact makes the mines of Tsis’Kolna almost a city unto itself with countless beings that work the mines leaving once every few months upon the end of their shifts.

Aikste iv Naile – Not one location but several on Ch’hodos, the simple utterance of this phrase brings terror to Ch’hodosian natives as it literally translates into “Place of Horrors”. These areas are typically places hordes of ancient Sithspawn or singular massive Sithspawn have taken home in and corrupted. These areas are closed off from the majority of the Ch’hodosian Empire to protect its citizens. The land or waters in these areas are corrupted by the length of time they have been exposed to the Dark Side due to the Sithspawn infestation there.

In an attempt to contain these areas, garrisons of Massassi alongside Kissai exorcists have been stationed outside of each area to contain the creeping corruption. However, the depths of evil within these places often drive the garrisons mad if the Sith placed there are not rotated out once every month. This fact combined with the stress of near constant combat against the tireless and cunning Sithspawn makes a true solution nearly impossible.

Deko’iin – Deko’iin or the “Eternal Sea” in Galactic Basic is Ch’hodos’s only ocean and like its name suggests it is extremely vast. With the deepest point of the ocean reaching 12,468 meters, what truly lurks in these deeps is unknown to even some of the most astute Ch’hodosian Scientists and Scholars. The variety of life within these seas makes it a stable place for the floating villages to earn their livings by braving the unknown and reaping the seas bounty for a living.

This being said, the waters of Deko’iin become difficult to navigate during the monsoon season with massive waves and water spouts born from the sea’s fury. During this time, not even the Ch’hodosian Navy dare attempt to sail in these cruel waters as rumors of massive aquatic Sithspawn surfacing during these months combined with the elements have proven to be true in recent days.

Perl’Chasos – Perl’Chasos also known as “Gem of the Storm” in Galactic Basic are a series of islands located on Ch’hodos’s equator and are located out in the middle of the Deko’iin Sea. These islands are home to a single massive pleasure resort for the mega rich, politicians, Sith Lords, and anyone noteworthy enough to gain entry.

The islands themselves are connected through a series of underwater man-made tunnels which are protected by aquatic shields from oceanic predators and roaming Sithspawn. During the monsoon season these islands are designed to submerge themselves and aquatic shields are raised to allow the vacationers a unique look at deep sea life on Ch’hodos. This is not only to protect the expensive resort from the elements but to ensure the guests aren’t killed by the raging tsunamis and water spouts which could affect the islands.

Guduma’stas – Guduma’stas or “The City of the Damned” in Galactic Basic is an ancient and ruined city. Ch’hodosian scholars believe this to have been the ancient seat of power for the Ch’hodosian people but it has long since been ruined and claimed by the continent’s endless desert. While the edges of the ruined city have become a popular tourist destination, delving deeper is strictly disallowed unless individuals are either on Brotherhood business or are scientists protected by armed guards.

This is due to the fact that the deeper an individual delves into the ruins of the city, the more frequent and aggressive the spirits within become. The souls trapped within are damned to continue existing and living out their final terrible moments, caught between this life and the next. What exactly occurred to the city and why these ghosts still exist is a mystery to the Ch’hodosian Empire.

· Rotation: Ch'hodos has a standard twenty-four hour rotation cycle with sixteen of the hours being day and eight being night. During the night the oceans react to the gravitational pull of the twin moons of the planet, pulling their tides into the super continent, covering a good fifth of the coastal landmass. During the day the tides wane and reveal an additional fifth of the ocean floor. This flux makes coastal villages nearly impossible to upkeep and is usually nonexistent unless the townships are built upon stilts or designed to rise with the evening tides.

· Inhabitants: Ch'hodos' dominant and ruling race is the remnants of the Sith Pureblood Empire which used to span a large portion of the galaxy. Now however, the civilization lives in denial of their fall from grace, believing themselves to still be a mighty empire that is the last bastion of Pureblood civilization and splendor. Aside from the Ch'hodosian Purebloods the planet is inhabited by humans, Zabraks, Twi'leks, Barabels, and various other races that are either imported as slaves or that have been accepted as members of the civilization.

Outside of sentient beings there are many forms of wildlife that dwell within the super continent's savannas, deserts, mountains, and its singular sea. These beasts range from mundane to apex predators and most of the native wildlife have evolved to withstand the irradiated sun that consistently bears down upon them. On top of this, some Sithspawn from the glory days of the Ch'hodosian Empire still exist in the unexplored regions of both the land mass and the sea, causing many to avoid straying too far from highly populated centers.

· Resources: Ch'hodos is known as a pleasure capitol within the heart of the Sith Empire, attracting many wealthy business people, criminal lords, and Sith to visit the planet. This is due to the tropical resort in the middle of their vast sea, which makes it an ideal getaway location for politicians, criminals, or Sith Lords alike. Aside from this, Ch'hodos exports a vast amount of precious jewels and raw components for durasteel and duraninum production from its expansive mines that litter the base of their single mountain range and stretch into deep into the vast desert. It is also known for its exportation of its unique and sometimes fearsome wildlife to various regions of the galaxy.

· Government: Ch'hodos's main government known as the "Ch'hodosian Empire" is "ruled" by an Oligarchy, a singular ruling family known as the "Sith'ari". While not truly considered "Dark Lords of the Sith" the titles are merely given to the ruling family as a cultural honorific. However, this ruling family is in fact simple figureheads which are dictated to subtly by their advisers and their "Priest Council" which are the upper echelons of the Kissai Caste. This in turn means that the true governmental body is an Aristocracy, while the "Sith'ari" family is kept merely as figureheads of the "Empire".

However, the further away from the massive population centers one gets the less sway this cloak and dagger political system holds. Small towns and floating villages on the sea are usually ruled by elected officials. While this fact is hidden whenever inspection teams come to visit or when villages bring their wares in to trade for necessities, it still is a relatively known fact among the lowers castes.

Within the ruined prison city of Tremi'stas where the twin factions that struggle for control over their ruined home utilize two very different sets of government types. The Kvailla, opting to form a sort of Democratic Monarchy where the crazed members of the "House", elect a single official once a year to represent the will of their "people". This unifying Monarch claims to hear the whispers of those who died in the initial battle within their city and utilizes this powerful hallucination upon entering the office to bring his or her people into line with his or her vision.

On the other hand, the Kvailas utilize a form of Totaltarian Kraterocracy, where the strongest and most accomplished of Generals or heroes within the "house" control via complete control and dominion. The government system is designed to allow the Kvailas to have a strong leader to unite behind and at times overcome their constant state of paranoia through the fear of their leader's fury. While this limits personal freedoms to a nonexistent point it gives life to a unified and formidable front in war.

Finally, the Perl'Chasos Resort: While not a true government it is run by a board of directors who all report back to a CEO. The resort is secretively ran by a sort of Mertiocratic Corporatocracy where directors can be replaced if another employee or "champion" were to show that they are more deserving of a place on the board of directors in the eyes of their despotic and power hungry CEO. While this government isn't a true government, nor does it represent a will of the people outside of it's own interest it is still considered one of the trinities of power within the power struggle on Ch'hodos.

· Culture: Ch'hodos only has three major population centers, one which is ran by a strict caste system which is loosely based off of what their ancestors once utilized. This being the Sith'ari, or in this case the ruling family situated at the top of the pyramid of power. Then there is the Kissai caste, the priests of old who have now turned into something more akin to nobles who oversee various aspects of the society as a whole. Beneath the Kissai are the Massassi, the warrior caste which makes up the bulk of the Ch'hodosian military might, this caste enforces the will of the Sith'ari family and reports directly to their Kissai overseers. Beneath them resides the Zuguruk, which comprises most of the citizens of the Ch'hodosian Empire. This caste is the first caste that incorporates non-pureblood members, allowing Human, Anzati, Chiss, Annoo-Dat Prime, among other races to apply for and possibly be granted citizenship into the Ch'hodosian Empire. Finally, there is the Grotthu, essentially this caste is filled with Slaves be it hybrid bred from two separate castes or "lesser" species that have been purchased for labor unfitting for any other caste to participate in.

Sith'ari - The pampered "ruling" family of Ch'hodos, for the most part this family is advised through their advisers while kept ignorant of the going about in their "empire's" day to day life. The Kissai caste purposefully manipulates the "Sith'ari" into being more or less figureheads and mouthpieces for their will upon the people within their kingdom. That being said, should the "Sith'ari" family make a decision as a whole the Massassi will obey without question, even if it is purging the Kissai into controllable numbers. This being said, the Sith'ari as a family is usually content with playing their part in the Kissai's cunning game, only unleashing the depth of their true cultural power when their direct commands are contradicted.

Kissai - The Kissai are the true ruling body of the Ch'hodosian Empire, while not every member born into this Aristocracy is a member of the Priest Council nor are they necessarily direct advisers to the Sith'ari. However, every bloodline within this caste is in charge of some aspect of Ch'hodosian life regardless of how minute it might be. It is this caste that keeps the Ch'hodosian Empire flowing as a well-oiled machine while manipulating their civilization from behind a thin veil.

As with many aspects of Ch'hodosian society, a pureblood born into a specific Kissai caste is incapable of ever moving up or down in their hierarchy. Instead, they are placed within a fixed position of power within their culture and the first born is expected to uphold whatever duties the father before them possessed. Very little options are given to the Purebloods within this caste to make as far as their own personal lives go. More often than not many of the details of their lives are planned out for them, from education to who they will mate with it is all determined by pre-arranged agreements between families of similar levels of cultural control. This is to breed more effective offspring at whatever duties they might one day take control over and ensure ties between Kissai families remain strong.

Massassi - The bulk of the military force within Ch'hodosian culture. The Massassi believe they are to be an autonomous of the Kissai's influence only reporting to them as tradition rather than necessity. These Purebloods are in reality the biggest chess piece in the political cloak and dagger within the Ch'hodosian Empire with the Kissai manipulating them into their bidding the best they can without the Sith'ari growing suspicious. The Purebloods within this caste are believed to only be male, however this is untrue. The females of the Massassi caste are taken at birth and raised in breeding pens across the empire. On top of this, the bloodlines of the Massassi are specifically chosen for superior physical strength with the minimum of intellectual power.

This is to ensure that the Massassi never grow too wise about the going ons of the Kissai caste and are more susceptible to manipulation. A top this, Force Sensitive Massassi are typically trained only deep enough to be effective as units, ensuring that individuals can never truly grow to the point of being a threat to the Sith'ari or the Kissai. This allows the Massassi to become effective warriors to uphold and enforce Ch'hodosian law through the high population centers of the empire.

Zuguruk - The Zuguruk are the citizens of the Ch'hodosian Empire and while they may possess no real political strength in most cases their position and wealth within the Ch'hodosian society is solely dependent upon individual effort. Without the strict adherence to bloodlines giving position, the Zuguruk are in most aspects the "free-est" portion of the Ch'hodosian Empire. These make up the average person within the Empire that has no political or military status; they range from wealthy business families to the poorest of street beggars. This caste is by far the most widespread across Ch'hodos and is capable of being found across the continent or living on floating island villages in the sea. On top of this, the Zuguruk caste is the only caste within the Ch'hodosian Empire to accept non-Purebloods into it without being enslaved. This furthers the members found within it.

Grotthu - Slaves, the most insignificant but by far the largest caste within Ch'hodosian society. This caste is defined by forced labor, chains, and suffering. Members of this caste are often viewed as little more than beasts and are in some cases treated as such too. With members of it ranging from Pureblood's that are hybrids between castes to imported "Lesser" species such as Twi'leks, Barabels, and Zabraks.

The Ch'hodosian Empire was built on the backs of slaves, from the massive spires that the Kissai nobles dwell within to the lowliest of run down shops almost everything was built upon the backs of the slaves. This hasn't ceased, Grotthu are utilized to build tombs for notable members of society, toil in farmlands, clean shops, and in some cases educate the children of nobles. This being said, there are very few laws protecting Grotthu from their owners and it isn't uncommon to witness Grotthu being beaten or starved to death over small slights and failures. To be a Grotthu within Ch'hodosian Society is to truly understand what constant hopelessness and despair feels like.

The other major population center is a city of exiles and ran by an eternal feud between two mad "houses". A prison city which has completely fallen into madness and despair due to the workings of a powerful Sithspawn trapped beneath the foundation of the city's ruins. The eternal struggle in the skeleton of a once great city proves to be a breeding ground of a new culture that could possibly over throw the might of the Ch'hodosian Empire, should their madness be quelled.

The third population center is a highly sophisticated resort found on the equator of the planet and in the middle of the Deko'iin Sea. The Perl'Chasos is an independently owned and operated resort designed to cater to the wealthiest beings in the Galaxy. Allowing them to enjoy a tropical environment or explore the horrors that lurk deep beneath the sea of Ch'hodos all while their safety is perfectly assured. The staff and slaves here are trained to provide for, defend, and if need be sacrifice themselves to assure the promise of safety and luxury at all times is accomplished.

Despite paying more taxes to the Ch'hodosian Empire then even their own citizens do, the Perl'Chasos still manages to break more than even each year. However, as with everything founded from opportunity and hunger, the owners of Perl'Chasos have begun to tire with their distant rulers. Instead of utilizing the Massassi given to them to protect the resort, they have hired mercenary forces that both defend the resort and kill any Ch'hodosian Imperial forces that near the resort's waters - deeply cutting a valued source of income to the Ch'hodosian Empire which funded their tribute to the Sith Brotherhood.

Tsis'stas - Tsis'stas translates literally into "City of the Sith" in galactic basic and is considered the cultural hub of Ch'hodosian culture. The capitol of the Ch'hodosian Empire is built high within the peaks of its single mountain range and overlooks the crystal and ore mines below. The city itself is divided into three sections, two of which can only be accessed by the Sith'ari family and the Kissai aristocrats. These "levels" within the city act as dividers between the castes, ensuring that the Kissai and the Sith'ari rarely, if ever, have to directly interact with the filthy peons they rule over.

The highest level of Tsis'stas is the place the Sith'ari family alongside the Imperial Moff placed on the planetary system. Here the only beings that are allowed to enter are the family's personally trained Massassi elite guard, the Kissai advisers to the throne, on occasion the Kissai "Priest Council", the Moff delegated to the planet by the Imperials, and visiting Darths or Lords of the Sith Order. Despite not being considered the true Dark Lords of the Sith, the ruling family is still considered sacred to the Ch'hodosian culture and anyone outside of these individuals stepping foot within the hallowed grounds of the compound is considered a sacrilege. Intruders and those who dare violate this unspoken law on the planet are given slow and torturous deaths as punishment for their heresy. To solve this issue, supplies, luxuries, and slaves are flown directly into the city by Massassi guards whenever they are needed. The Grotthu brought here are executed once their duties are completed or once they are too old to complete their tasks any longer.

However, despite few being ever seeing this golden paradise up close, it can be viewed from not only the ground approach to the city but every angle of Tsis'stas as well. This creates the impression that the Sith'ari family is an ever-looming presence within Tsis'stas and that they can see not only every street within the city but every angle of their lands. While this creates an ominous ambiance it also makes this one of the hardest places to defend within the city as it is exposed to airborne strikes, to solve this, a shield was installed that protects the Sith'ari and a few of the towering homes of important Kissai from aerial energy or ballistic attacks.

The secondary level is split into two sections, the first and by far the most unkempt is the home of the Kissai aristocracy. These homes are spires that are built in ascending order, the higher a families tower, the closer they will be to the Sith'ari family and the more important that bloodline is to Ch'hodosian society. These spires are built to provide everything a complete Kissai family will need which includes several large kitchen, hundreds of rooms, various dining areas, entertainment areas, exercise areas, sparing rooms, education centers, restrooms, and lastly a landing pad at the peak of each spire to allow the family to move about the city and continent without interaction with the common rabble. These spires are designed to allow Kissai to live out their lives only interacting with other noble families and hardly anyone else; in fact it isn't uncommon for Kissai to never leave this quarter of the city as it provides everything they could possibly require.

At the feet of these spires lays the largest Massassi garrison in the Empire. Since the Kissai almost never leave their homes, the Massassi here have developed a sprawling city that seems more like a colony of ants then an actual living area. Here the Massassi eat, breed in their breeding pens, train, duel, sleep, and compete for the attention of their overlords. The strongest of the Massassi often draw the attention of Kissai families and are allowed to live closer to the foothills of their spire. This is considered to be one of the highest honors in Massassi culture, second only to serving as the Sith'ari's personal guard.

The final tier of the city is set at the lowest point and as you move away from the Kissai's wall you will find that the city slowly returns to its ruined state. Similarly to how the Kissai's homes are built, the closest to the Noble section of the city are the richest and most powerful of the Zuguruk caste. Often businessmen or diplomats that dwell within massive manors which are guarded by various mercenary elements, it isn't uncommon for these compounds to be sprawling and under near constant construction for expansions. Competition for the space closest to the wall is often bloody and there have been occasions where entire families will simply go missing only for their vacant home to be occupied by a rival some days later.

Further away from this part of the lowest tier is the market center, here the middle class merchants both live in and sell their goods at. These is the liveliest part of the city as Zuguruk and Grotthu work, toil, purchase, and interact with one another out of necessity to survive. Unsurprisingly, this is also one of the most dangerous places within Tsis'stas with many murders, muggings, robberies, and assaults occurring on the southern portions of the Markets which is closer to the slums. As such, the entire market is heavily policed by Massassi enforcers who will assault, arrest, or murder any being that even seems to be up to suspicious activity.

Finally, the last rung of society lives in the slums. Here both the poorest Zuguruk miners live alongside the Grotthu and their gangs. Even Massassi refuse to venture into this place out of fear of the vicious gangs that dwell within. The slums are controlled by spice dealers and criminal overlords who ruthlessly enforce their own law, a simple one, only the strongest survive. However, it is rumored that a splinter group of the culture also hides within the shadows of the Slums preaching heresies to bring hope to the lower castes and the weak. This group is also rumored to be willing to smuggle Grotthu out of Tsis'stas for the right price.

Tremi’stas – The City of Exiles or “Tremi’stas” is the prison city of Ch’hodos and located near the largest patch of corrupted land on the continent. Initially, this was an actual prison where citizens found guilty of any crime were sent as punishment. It's tall walls and the shambles that the actual city and it's structures were in prevented the inmates from escaping. However, these undesirables banded together and slowly began to transform their guard-less prison into something habitable; creating a culture unto its own.

For a time Tremi'stas was viewed as a threat to Tsis'stas's sovereignty and war plans to eradicate the city were put into conceptual stages. However, the awakening of a previously unknown Dark Side being put an end to that need. As it turns out, the progression the prisoners had been making towards building a home for themselves awoke a long slumbering Sithspawn that was trapped deep beneath the earth underneath the city itself.

While the beast was unable to escape it's prison, the depth of its connection to the Dark Side was able to massively alter the landscape above it. The beast inspired fear and paranoia within every being for miles around its location in the world above. This caused the inklings of hope to be extinguished by the fires of war as the majority of the inmates who had previously banded together ruthlessly slaughtered one another in fits of deranged madness.

What few inmates were able to resist the whispers of the beast below their city retreated deeper into their city and began to attempt to rebuild. The damage was done however, between the persistent whispers of the truly massive Sithspawn below and the distrust sowed between the surviving inmates, they were incapable of truly uniting. Instead, what little scraps of civilization remain in the city is feuded and contested over constantly by two "houses" which in reality are simple gangs.

These two gangs are the embodiment of the Sithspawn's maddening influences over them. While the members of the gangs are capable of working together to build a society inside their respective territories, they are incapable of working with one another. This inability is born from the paranoia induced by the Sithspawn beneath their feet, both sides believing that the other intentionally started the war that destroyed the culture they were building decades ago and each believing the other intends to ignite the flames of war once again.

The first and most noteworthy of these gangs are the Kvailla or the "Manic" in Galactic Basic. These beings are effected by intense and sporadic delusions and hallucinations. While delusional, the Kvailla are able to differentiate between the whispers of the Sithspawn and the voices that it's maddening effects have created. These beings view the voices within their own heads as spiritual guides and follow their demands without hesitation, no matter the price it might cost them.

While these hallucinations and delusions hold deep spiritual meaning to the Kvailla, they have no real control over when they occur. This means that an individual can enter a crazed state at any moment and instead of other Kvailla aiding the being caught in the fits of delusion, they will simply watch in awe. This stems from their belief that each delusion or hallucination is a deep spiritual moment for a Kvailla and disrupting it is an insult to the individual.

Despite their maddened state, the Kvailla are by far more creative than their opposition, creating beautiful works of art from scrap found within their compound and focusing on the beauty in everything that they create. The same can be said about the ingenuity and insanity of their battle plans, war leaders pour hours into planning elaborate battle plans, that when go as plan are devastating to their enemy but unfortunately this rarely occurs. The only reason that the Kvailla haven't been dominated by their more logical foe is due to their compounds high walls and the twisted cannibalistic prisoners outside of them.

The second group, the Kvailas or the "Demented" are defined by the depth of their obsessive compulsion and their paranoia. The beings within this "house" do not suffer from hallucinations nor delusional voices and therefore are capable of logical thought. However, this logic is often disrupted by their intense paranoia and obsession of claiming credit for each individual plan they make. While their paranoia does not make them outright violent towards one another, it does cause a decent amount of mistrust within their ranks.

However, when the Kvailas do manage to unify as a single body they are capable of terrifying feats. Such an example is the fact that no other crazed prisoners outside their own house exist within the streets the Kvailas control. In fact, it is theorized that even the cannibalistic prisoners that are unaligned fear the Kvailas and their base of operations which is a testament to their brutal nature in combat.

Unlike the Kvailla, the Kvailas utilize tactics that are direct and proven to work against their more manic foe; such as attacking individuals as they gather supplies or hunt for scraps to craft with in an attempt to pull information leading to the hidden entrance to the Kvailla compound. However, when even the slightest thing goes wrong in their carefully laid out plans, suspicion and paranoia will take hold of the house and an obsessive hunt to find the "leak" of information, even if it doesn't exist, will begin.

A top this, the Kvailas would be unable to believe the information given to them by a Kvailla prisoner even if they managed to break their manic stat; the depth of their hatred towards the opposing house running far too deep for their paranoid minds to believe the truth in the prisoner's words. As such, the endless war between the Kvailla and the Kvailas rages onward, and it will continue to unless somehow the beast beneath Tremi'stas was to fall.

Perl'Chasos - "The Gem of the Storm" a name that is rightfully earned by the pleasure resort which spans four archipelago islands which are found in the middle of the Deko'iin Sea. This resort started construction the year after the islands were discovered in the middle of the sea and has expanded with almost half a century of work into a singular technological marvel on Ch'hodos. The resort itself is more than just the buildings that are on the surface of the islands; they expand downwards into the sedimentary rock and are connected to one another by a series of underwater tunnels.

These tunnels are protected by a hardened energy shield which provides a stunning shock to any lifeforms that approaches them. This was designed to allow the tunnels themselves to be constructed with thickened transparisteel, which in turn allows the guests to view the beautiful scenery of the coral reef found around the edge of a massive chasm the islands seemingly rise up from. Guests witness the beauty of the reef, the mighty predators found in the deep, and the cruel cycle of life all behind the safety of the shields.

When the resort was being designed the CEO and her original board of directors recognized the threat of the monsoon season and knew that any structure, no matter how fortified, would eventually collapse to the raging storms. As such, they paid countless engineers and construction teams to brave the deeps of Ch'hodos in order to install an advanced levee system that would allow the islands themselves to sink to a safe depth a week before the monsoon season started. The same shielding system the tunnels utilize is then activated to protect the structures themselves from the harsh aquatic lifeforms and to regulate the deep sea pressures to livable conditions.

The misconception is that guests are either unable to enter the resort after this or they are simply stuck beneath the sea until the resort rises once again. This is untrue as well, the CEO utilizes amphibious air to sea transports with a special electricity neutralizing coating to allow guests and visitors to free come and go as they please. This means that the Perl'Chasos Resort is open year round and always will provide a unique experience to her guests.

When the Perl'Chasos was first constructed, the islands were claimed by the Ch'hodosian Empire but they were left barren. The current CEO's grandmother approached the Sith'ari family with an offer that they simply couldn't refuse, especially since coming into contact with the Sith Empire who demanded tribute in order to keep some sense of autonomy within their borders. Her offer promised a great financial boon to the Empire, and a solution to their financial crisis that wouldn't resort in the over taxation of the Empire's people.

The CEO alongside her Kissai allies convinced the Sith'ari family to sign the Perl'Chasos islands over to her for a lump sum of credits and the promise of a massive 48% of yearly profit taxation once the resort had been built and business had been conducted for five years. This would allow the CEO and her board of Directors an opportunity to make back some of their expenditure costs while building a reputation in the galaxy as the ultimate get away resort in the sector. Alongside this, the promise of an increase to tourism to the planet provided a manner to further alleviated the current financial issues the Empire was facing.

The resort itself took almost a decade to construct properly during which, the alliance between the Ch'hodosian Empire and the CEO of the Perl'Chasos struggled. The Ch'hodosian Empire and their Sith'ari family didn't expect the resort to take as long as it had to be constructed and demanded the resort to begin paying their tax during the second year of being open. This caused some political discourse until the Ch'hodosian Empire sent war vessel to the resort demanding payment or they would slaughter the employees and guests within. The Resort payed their taxation early from that point onward, with little to no protest.

However, the CEO had seen that the Ch'hodosian Empire was both impatient and unpredictable at best, and murderous at worst. As such, she began to invest in mercenary security teams for the resort, which the Empire responded to by sending Massassi "guardians" to eliminate that need. The presence of the brutish Massassi did not stop the CEO however; instead she began to disguise her security teams as employees or guests and waited for her time to strike.

Decades went by and slowly but surely the Massassi guardians became more and more complacent as they were rotated in. Soon the Massassi viewed the "guard" duty on the Perl'Chasos resort to be more of a vacation as the CEO lavished them with free food, drinks, and some of the most expensive suites. This was designed to disarm the brutish Massassi into viewing the resort as less of a threat and more of a getaway. Once it had been accomplished the Perl'Chasos struck with brutal efficiency.

They disguised the incident during the one week out of the year the resort closes its doors to maintenance it's systems and go through inspections. The long embedded mercenaries eliminated the Massassi guardians in a variety of brutal but still "accidental" manners, liberating the Perl'Chasos from the Empire's grasp and sending a message to the Sith'ari family. It didn't take long for the Ch'hodosian Empire to respond by sending war vessels out to the islands once more, this time however the Perl'Chasos was prepared.

The mercenary forces of the Perl'Chasos defended the resort with bombing patterns from starfighters and by dropping infantry with superior armaments onto the water bound vessels. The ensuing "battle" was a complete slaughter, with only one Imperial War vessel managing to limp away to report their loss to the Sith'ari and the Kissai noblemen and noblewomen. It was from that point onward that the Perl'Chasos was no longer under the thumb of the Ch'hodosian Empire but became an independently operating entity on the planet.

Culturally, two of these three powerhouse cultures worship the Dark Side, though with varying degrees of importance. The Ch'hodosian Empire especially holds a deep seeded belief and reliance upon the Dark Side of the Force. As a culture they believe it is the Dark Side that allows them to maintain their control over their world and gives them the right to inherit the stars.

The religion revolves around the belief that their ancestors shaped the Sith Order into what it is today and that they are the birthplace of the Sith. They also believe that their ancestors were among the mightiest of warriors and sorcerers to have ever lived, thus they as a culture will be able to draw upon that same power in their most desperate times. The Ch'hodosian Empire believes that it is through the Dark Side that this was possible and the Dark Side not only wills that their people conquer everything but that they as a race embody it.

This belief that they are designed to bring ruin to the galaxy has caused an intense speciesist mindset within the natives of Ch'hodos. The Pureblood people there viewing certain races as superior to others, perhaps not to the same point their race is but certainly more suitably designed to rule alongside them then certain lesser races. This view on species as a whole has reinforced the usage of slaves to do tasks that are mundane or too laborious for the Ch'hodosian people.

On top of this, the culture of the Ch'hodosian Empire is impacted by their depth of Dark Side worship. They are an impatient people who will utilize force to prove a point and blame their failures upon their lessers. Even members of the Zuguruk caste are known to be power hungry, conniving, and willing to utilize intimidation or murder to increase their status inside the pecking order of their caste. This creates a society that is essentially ruled by the strongest or the most cunning even from the lesser castes. It is encouraged to outwit a rival, even in the Kissai caste and annihilate the opposition, especially if an individual can get away with it.

This means that the laws are based around if an individual is caught and there were witnesses to the crime. But even this is limited by caste, for if the accused is of higher status then his or her accusers then no action will generally be taken and the accused may even be commended for their actions. It is this brutal infighting brought about by their intense Dark Side worship that has allowed their culture to flourish but also might be what has begun the start of their downfall.

The religion of Tremi'stas is an odd one, while both cultures worship the Force neither of them are truly aligned with either side of the Force. Certainly the more light hearted Kvailla are more aligned with the Light Side then their Kvaillas cousins are but both sides also indirectly worship the beast that caused the demise of their fledgling culture.

The Kvailla do this through their fanatical reverence towards their hallucinations and delusions. Believing they are the voices or visions from the dead around them and that they are giving them instructions on how to live their lives. In reality, these are just the byproduct the Sithspawn below them has had on their minds and by obeying and worshiping these illusions they are simply empowering it further.

This being said, the Kvailla as a whole are far more pacifistic then the Kvaillas, they prefer to focus on creating and fostering their culture rather than destroying or dominating another. Their utilization of a voting system and falling behind a singular ruler also shows that they allow every member of their society to have a voice that is heard. This shows a measure of equality that isn't found in another culture on Ch'hodos and proves that even in a heart of darkness, the light can be found.

The Kvaillas on the other hand thrive on conflict and superiority. Their paranoia and obsessive plotting against their enemies and in some cases one another showcases how deeply they have given themselves to the Darkness of the Sithspawn beneath them. This combined with their militaristic and expansionist culture breeds a warlike people that are unafraid of battle and relish in warfare.

The members of this house worship not only the Dark Side but some actually believe the curse that sparked the war to have been a blessing, revealing the true face of what they are meant to be. In terms of closeness to what the ancient Sith once were, none grow closer than the Kvaillas and their fervent worship of the Dark Side, the Sithspawn beneath them, and their culture of only the strongest rule.

Finally, Perl'Chasos: The resort itself holds no real religious beliefs as it is simply a company but it's patrons have a variety of beliefs, none of which are condemned officially by the resort. However, no one can deny the subtle influences the Dark Side has held over the board of directors and it's CEO. The level of plotting and cunning they utilize to further their own power and wealth is absolutely a sign of the corruption the planet of Ch'hodos possesses.

From the deaths of countless engineers due to exposure to predators or unpredictable weather all the way to the slaughter of the Massassi forces meant to "guard" them. The history of Perl'Chasos is riddled with the Dark Side's corruption and the bloodshed that inevitably follows suit. Only time can tell how long the Perl'Chasos is content with controlling a mere island on the surface of Ch'hodos and if the Dark Side will flare up within the owners, manipulating them into taking a larger portion of the planet for themselves.

While the three factions of Ch'hodos either indirectly or directly clash with one another, the one question that they all want answered is one shrouded in long forgotten secrets. "What happened here?" This is a question more asked by the contractors on Perl'Chasos and the scholars of the Ch'hodosian Empire then with either of the houses inside of Tremi'stas. However, even the twin crazed houses are acutely aware that their minds have been effected by a supernatural presence that is twisted and want to know what exactly this thing that altered them is.

The answer to the questions all these powerhouses ask might be found within the ruins of Guduma'tas, the city of the damned. The ghosts within its inner walls seem trapped in never ending despair and conflict, forced to relive their terrifying last moments endlessly. Even Sith Sorcerers and Scholars from the Dark Brotherhood still are unsure if these "ghosts" are actual spirits or mere echoes left over by whatever terrible event occurred on the planet, destroying its original inhabitants and corrupting those who survived into the twisted hordes of Sithspawn that now are beginning to awaken.

Despite the broiling conflict that sits at the edge of spilling over, one thing to all of the cultures on this world is clear. Answers must be found, a solution has to be developed, or perhaps a catastrophe similar to the one that annihilated the first inhabitants of the planet will strike again. This has pushed all three of the factions to enlist the aid of outsiders, not only in their struggles for power but their attempts to gain knowledge of what happened to their world and how to prevent it from happening once more.

· Technology:

Each of the cultures on Ch'hodos possesses varying levels of technological advances based upon their interactions with the galaxy at large and at times their own cultural preference. The Ch'hodosian Empire possesses the ability for interstellar travel but they still cling onto the weapons of their past. Utilizing Sith Warblades instead of lightsabers and Lanvaroks instead of blasters. A top this, they also prefer traditional naval vessels instead of utilizing star ships to hold onto their aquatic territory. The houses of Tremi'stas were born from the remnants of a prison colony who were denied blasters and lightsabers. While the current generations of inhabitants are aware of their existence, they have little to no knowledge of how to utilize them and instead of developed weaponry from whatever they can scrounge together in their surroundings. The Perl'Chasos is by far the most technologically advanced, utilizing the full might of modern technology to protect what is theirs and hold back the comparative hordes of the Ch'hodosian Empire. From mercenary star fighters, to blasters, to explosives the guardsmen of the Perl'Chasos are outnumbered but hold a massive technological advantage over their opponents.

Medical development is also limited by outside influence, with the Ch'hodosian Empire and the Perl'Chasos utilizing more modern medicines due to their ability to trade with the galaxy at large. This being said, the Perl'Chasos having more resources and being a pleasure resort often has more of a ready supply of advanced materials then the Ch'hodosian Empire does but the Empire's alliance with the Dark Brotherhood allows them to access these supplies more frequently than the Per'Chasos can. However, the houses of Tremi'stas are left relying on what they can scavenge from ruins of the prison city and what limited force healing techniques they have discovered to treat wounds.

· Satellites:

Ch'hodos as a system has two moons. These moons shine with a blood red tint due to the reflection of the irradiated sun that shines upon them during the night. These moons are called Akute'tsis or "Eyes of the Sith" due to their red shine. Some scholars believe these moons were once capable of sustaining life but their atmosphere has long since been ripped asunder by the constant washing of radiation for their mass. Now both moons are barren rocks that orbit the world of Ch'hodos, one of which is rumored by the inhabitants and spacers to be hollowed out.

Within the entrance of this man made hollow is rumored to be an abandoned base, designed by the planet's first inhabitants. The purpose of this alleged base is unknown and no exploration party to confirm or deny these rumors. This only adds to the legends by inhabitants and spacers alike claiming the spirits of the dead still protect the moon base and whatever secrets it holds.

· History:

Ch’hodos as a world was not originally inhabited by the Sith people nor was it initially a vast desert world. Initially, this world was a single large marsh that the oceans bled into. The land mass on the planet’s surface also was far more expansive it still retained its polar ice caps. In this state, Ch’hodos was a primordial world with a cruel cycle of life and death, played out by large insects, amphibians, sea bound mammalians, and fish.

However, this ecosystem was slowly forced to change as Ch’hodos’s star slowly became irradiated. Over the course of several thousands of years, Ch’hodos’s lush twin moons were rendered barren and empty as their atmosphere couldn’t filter out the harmful radiation that bombarded their biomes. While Ch’hodos’s atmosphere wouldn’t collapse under the pressure completely, the introduction of the irradiated rays would slowly change the surface of the world.

Forcing genetic mutations in the world’s evolving non-sentient population, most notably came the thicker hides of its indigenous non-sentient populations. However, even the planet’s ecosystems were not spared the slowly changing star’s wrath, over time the polar ice caps crumpled beneath the radiation and the slowly increasing temperature of the world, larger forms of terrestrial plant life began to wither and die. Over the course of three thousand years, the face of Ch’hodos changed dramatically and it forced most of the land bound creatures to be forced into extinction as the process of evolution simply couldn’t keep up with the changes occurring on the world.

However, life within the ocean’s flourished due to the planet’s atmospheric filtration, the filtration of the ocean’s surface, and the slowly increasing of water levels. These conditions allowed the massive Dra’iin sea on Ch’hodos to not only to flood many of the low lands on the planet’s super continent but also allowed the sea to become a fertile ground for sustaining life. It was because of these perfect conditions that Ch’hodos’s only land mass would eventually slowly begin to repopulate itself with terrestrial creatures.

About a thousand years after amphibians began to reappear along the shores and in the shoals of Ch’hodos, the ancestors of the first Ch’hodosian Empire discovered and settled on the world. These Purebloods began to conquer the wilds of the world and build a continent spanning culture alongside the evolving terrestrial ecosystem. Many of these Pureblood Sith decided to “aid” the evolving world, and utilized their Dark Magics to speed up the evolutionary process of both low lying plant life and the amphibious species along the coastlines.

This forced evolutionary process caused some measure of corruption within the creatures of the world, making them far more aggressive then creatures on other systems. It also began the slow process of entrenching the world with the Dark Side, a process that was only sped up as the Purebloods that settled and built their Empire on the world began their dark practices more freely. Within two thousand years of establishing themselves on the planet, the Purebloods had deeply corrupted the world and had begun to twist both non-sentient and sentient life into abominations known as Sith Spawn.

However, this First Empire’s reckless use of the Dark Side and willingness to bend nature to their own will would become their inevitable downfall. The Sorcerers of the First Empire developed a ritual or a piece of technology that they believed would allow them to tap into and twist the “core power” of the world. Whatever happened in the ruins of Guduma’stas’s clearly did not have the intended effects, as instead of allowing the ancient Sith to utilize the power of a world however they wished, it caused them to simply vanish from existence. They only real evidence of what occurred on the surface of the world being the now vast desert and savannas, the hordes of now awakening Sithspawn, and the spirits of those at the epicenter of whatever occurred within the walls of Guduma’stas.

After the corruption of a significant portion of the life found on Ch’hodos the planet was silent for almost a millennia. The few Sith Purebloods who has survived the cataclysmic event withdrawing and forming a more tribal society instead of attempting to rebuild their vast empire. Countless generations later, the Sith Purebloods on the world discovered the ruins of Tsis’stas and began to restore the city to its previous glory, reigniting the sparks of civilization.

The Purebloods who began the process of restoring their culture also found and translated scripts and logs written in an ancient dialect. Misunderstanding their own history and being too ignorant to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past, the Purebloods imitated their ancestors to the best of their ability. Utilizing ancient titles and the archaic caste system their forefathers had once lived by but also, they became deeply devoted to the Dark Side of the Force. The founders of the Ch’hodosian Empire rebuilt their city and began to show a deep interest in the history of those who had dwelt on the land before them.

The Ch'hodosian Empire began to swell in their golden mountaintop city and as it did her people began to explore and chart the regions around their home. On these expeditions the Ch'hodosian people discovered ancient and partially collapsed tunnels at the base of their mountains. Deeper exploration uncovered a treasure trove of precious gems and raw duranium, shortly after this discovery funding was allocated to repair these tunnels and transform them into sprawling mines.

These mines jumpstarted the Ch'hodosian Empire's economy and the influx of diamond backed currency allowed the Empire to expand outside it's secluded city and into the sprawling savannah wilds that surrounded it. This created townships and villages that were able to supply the Empire with farmed food, fish, and a steady source of income through taxation. This expansion however allowed for more free thinking Ch'hodosian Sith to begin to lust after a less oppressive government.

These Purebloods began to ambush Massassi warrior patrols and military supply convoys. At first these attacks were treated as mere annoyances and raiders but not as an organized threat. That was until a plot that sprawled up into the Kissai caste themselves was uncovered. For the next one hundred a bloody war would between the Ch'hodosian Empire and it's treasonous faction of citizens would be waged, one that would end at the sudden arrival of an outside corporation.

Human representatives of a fledgling company which as funded by a resort tycoon's son landed in the golden city of Tsis'stas. They promised credits and most importantly a way to end this long war to the Empire, in exchange they wanted ownership of a small set of islands in the middle of the sea. The Sith'ari agreed to these terms and within two years finally saw the of this war his grandfather had witnessed spark to life.

However, the representatives of this company soon learned that the Sith of the Ch'hodosian Empire was a greedy and clever lot despite their technological disadvantage. While the Empire allowed the company to begin their construction, they did not explicitly grant ownership. This was an oversight by the representatives who had met with the Sith'ari and his Kissai, they soon simply vanished all together.

Instead of giving them the land as agreed, once the company had invested an abundance of resources the Sith'ari came for their tribute. The company was unwilling to relinquish the islands and their investment into the resort and so they begrudgingly agreed to pay the sum demanded. While the Ch'hodosian Empire had claimed a small victory, they had permenantly soured what could have been a fruitful relationship between their Empire and the Perl'Chasos Resort.

With their tribute claimed the Sith'ari had the rebels who stood against his Empire cast into the ruins of Tremi'stas. The Sith'ari at the time made this decision in hopes that the rebels would turn on one another and destroy themselves. However, his son would learn otherwise, the denizens of Tremi'stas had begun to build the society they dreamed of from within the walls of the city.

As the news of Tremi'stas becoming a vibrant community reached the ears of the Sith'ari, so did the first contact with the eventual Sith Empire, known as the Dark Brotherhood. The Sith of the Brotherhood demanded the Ch'hodosian Empire take the knee and serve their Supreme Leader or perish. The Sith'ari saw the might of this new "Brotherhood" and recognized that his Empire was a mere speck in comparison and so he bent the knee and offered up a tribute in order to retain some sense of autonomy.

Surprisingly, the Dark Brotherhood's Supreme Leader agreed to the terms of their treaty and adopted Ch'hodos as a part of it's ever growing territory. However, the arrival of these new Sith sparked something slumbering within the planet of Ch'hodos, Sithspawn horros began to wake from their restless slumber. Places of nightmare began to spring up everywhere around the planet, tales of monsters destroying small settlements and devouring their inhabitants soon reached the Capitol of the Empire.

It was at this precise moment that the CEO of the shadowy organization reached out to the Dark Brotherhood and offered to pay a percentage of their profits, far less then the tribute they were giving to the Ch'hodosian Empire, to be allowed autonomy. The Brotherhood, ever the opportunists accepted the deal of the Perl'Chasos and soon that agreement started a war that would set upon another chain of events.

The Perl'Chasos hired mercenary guards to annihilate the Massassi guards that had been stationed on the resort. It was a brutal and effecient campaign, one that sent a message to the Ch'hodosian Empire, the Perl'Chasos was not to be trifled with. The Ch'hodosian Empire however was quick to react.

The Empire dispatched a naval fleet to retake the Perl'Chasos, however the Massassi of the fleet soon learned how out matched they truly were. The Perl'Chasos utilized air and technological superiority to annihilate the Ch'hodosian fleets, leaving only one ship to act as a messanger. Satisfied in knowing the Ch'hodosian Empire's naval prowess had temporarily been crippled the Perl'Chasos opened it's doors once more.

This naval loss crippled the navy of the Ch'hodosian Empire and forced the Sith'ari to spread his forces thin in order to attempt to contain the Sithspawn and keep watch on Tremi'stas. However, the Sith'ari soon felt a shift in the Dark Side from deep beneath the crust of Ch'hodos. His scouts in the area of Tremi'stas soon stopped reporting in which forced him to reach out to the Brotherhood for assistance.

The Brotherhood sent starfighters over the city of Tremi'stas to evaluate the land and what they revealed was terrifying. The city of Tremi'stas had completely succumbed to the corruption of the Dark Side and the city was alit with the fires of war. The pilots claimed to have seen hordes of Sithspawn crawling across the dead earth hunting for anything to devour. The Sith'ari then dispatched the force he meant to utilize to recapture and eradicate the inhabitants of Tremi'stas to contain the Sithspawn.

The Brotherhood saw the Ch'hodosian Empire's Sith'ari as an incompetant leader and dispatched an Imperial Moff to rule alongside the Sith'ari. With Imperial support the Ch'hodosian Empire was able to contain the cohorts of abominations that threatened their way of life. However, that victory and security came at the price of part of their autonomy.

In the recent years, the Ch'hodosian Empire and the Perl'Chasos have remained loyal allies to the Sith Empire but the bitterest of rivals on the planet's surface. With the Sithspawn continuing to grow in number the Sith Empire must choose to back either ancient knowledge or technical superiority to aid in ruling the planet of Ch'hodos. A fractured world would surely succumb to the threat that lingers just below it's surface.

· Intent: I wanted to create a diverse "sandbox" world that had a life of it's own and it's own internal struggles. I also wanted to give people interested in rping Sith Purebloods a planet to hail from that is steeped in lore, mysticism, and intrigue. On top of this, there aren't many worlds that are actively visited that showcase the depth of what prolonged corruption can do to not only an individual but entire cultures and ecosystems. As such, I wanted to create someplace people can go to experience this deep corruption in a still living world while exploring it's secrets and the history that shaped it. Basically, I wanted to create something more then a simple backdrop but a living and breathing world for people to explore and enjoy![/beebox4]

I'm definitely liking this planet write-up.

I would like to see the formatting changed a hair. It is far too narrow and that makes it rather bothersome to read, especially when the spoiler tabs get involved. Maybe try widening the margins of the box a bit?
