Didnt know where to post this, how do i know when my character has been approved as it has been a few days, no messages on it and other characters that were made after mine are being approved.

You know the answer to your own question.

Characters are reviewed in the order they're posted. I took a look and I didn't see any reviewed/approved profiles that were posted after yours. Your profile is not next in line either, there are several profiles before yours. If what you're claiming is true and I simply didn't see them, please link them here and someone will look into it.

That said, this looks like an attempt to skirt around the "no harassing staff" rule. If it isn't, don't worry. If it is, please remember that one of the key qualities to have in a community is patience. In the meantime, you can role play with your character in regular threads even if it's not approved. You just can't join events or faction plots with unapproved characters.

Please keep in mind that staff are people that volunteer many, many hours of their time to run this community. They often sacrifice their own roleplay experience in order to do the approval process. Please be mindful and patient going forward as it's always done in a fair manner, but ultimately it will be whenever staff can get to it. In the meantime, I encourage you to pop into roleplays and mingle with other chars. You are far from hindered by having an unapproved character.

It's good to see that you're eager to RP. The good news is, pre-approval RP — which allows you to RP any threads with the exception of Faction Plots, Site Events, and PvP — is actually pretty much all you need before your character is approved. Just give the staff time: they're doing their best, and they'll get onto your character when they can. In my experience, this is usually only a few days, but it depends on a multitude of factors and you just have to stay patient. (If you have any further questions like this one, the Rules and Guidelines are very helpful with that sort of thing.)

I remember feeling the same nervous urgency after posting my first character profile about three years ago, and had the same concerns, especially since the order of posted threads can be a little confusing at first. But take it from me, the staff here are really great, fair, and more than happy to help out. They just have limited time, so when people harass them it's both unproductive, and unappreciative of all they do around here. But by your apology, I can see that wasn't your intention, so you have nothing to feel bad about at all — just worth keeping this in mind for future reference.

Tl;dr: the staff are here to help, and they will get onto your posts, they just need to be given the time and space to do so.

Edit: It appears you have applied to a mission pack for the Sith Eternals, which is a form of faction plot (and as previously mentioned, these are some of the few forms of RP that must wait until after character approval). I know the whole system can be a little overwhelming and hard to understand at first, so I'll just let the mission pack organizer (who in this case is @Arclight) know that you can't participate in that particular aspect of the RP until your character is approved.

. . .

But if you want to get roleplaying right away, there are multiple ways of going about that. A good place to start is with any threads in the Role Play section marked as Open, since this means they are available for anyone to join in on. These are great for getting started with a new character (and are generally loads of fun), so you could try joining one of these... Here are two options: here or here. Feel free to search through and pick your own, but it's generally best to join Open threads when they have less than four other players... threads can get crowded and slow if you join ones with four participants or more.

In the meantime, I would highly recommend joining the Star Wars: the Force Eternal Discord server through this link here. It's heaps of fun, and we have a lot of really cool people over there who'd be happy to help you out with any questions: it just generally enhances the entire SWRP experience. :)

I hope I'll see you around, looking forward to RPing with ya! ^^
