B I O G R A P H Y

Born on the Forest Moon of Endor, Chani Nalrak was raised among the Sharp Stone Tribe. Since an wokling he wanted to be a brave warrior, inspired by the legends of his ancestors. Growing up he became something of a prankster along with his older cousin Tapli often getting into various misadventures. Unlike the latter Chani had no desire to leave Endor and focused on his dream to be a warrior.

Even so he did take the time to learn Basic and shoot a blaster from the Sector Ranger Seda Redwall who became an ally with the tribe. The older the more determined he became in pursuit of his dream. This led to near fatal results during a Dulok ambush against a hunting party. Chani recklessly attempted to challenge the Dulok chieftain along but was easily beaten and his uncle Wastan was wounded protecting the boy.

Following the ambush many in the tribe were displeased and disappointed with Chani. Guilt ridden that his actions almost cost his kin’s life he ran off into the woods to be alone. Hours later he discovered a starship owned by smugglers. Curious and wanting to redeem himself the young Ewok snuck onboard the ship.

It was then the smugglers owed the starcraft returned. In desperation Chani hid inside one of the crates. Too late did he realize that the outlaws when the ship flew up, leaving Endor behind. Now a stowaway Chani hides in the cargo bay...

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Chani wants to believe that he is courageous though others see him as reckless. While proud of being part of the tribe the young Ewok struggles to find a way to prove himself worthy of it. Proud and mischievous go hand in hand with the young warrior. The recent incident that nearly cost his uncle’s life has filled Chani with guilt.

While he adores pranks and music, Chani loves his homeland and tribe. Nature, especially trees, holds a special place in his soul. The sense of legacy, expectation and his own ambition drives him forward. He has much to learn.

A B I L I T I E S

Since youth Chani has been trained as both a hunter and warrior for his tribe with ancene sense of smell. This includes the use of bow, slingshot, knife and spear. He has learned to make small simple traps on his own and can help with larger types if a group is involved. Not to mention Chani is talened with climbing trees, flying wooden gliders, slinging from ropes and riding mounts like ponies found on Endor.

From the local sector ranger Chani learned to shoot with light blaster pistols and carbines. Some of his finest skills are scouting, tracking and stealth. This works best in wilderness settings. He is fluent in Ewokese and speaks enough Basic to get by Chani is yet wholly ignorant of other galactic languages/dialects. Not to mention he can’t lift any heavy type of blasters or similar firearms much less use them.
