New Aldera, New Alderaan
It really wasn't too long ago until the troublesome world New Alderaan was brought into the fold of the Sith Empire, by Force. The Jedi failed them, the Free Worlds failed them, and the newly assigned Sith Governor Arcturus Alkaios will see to it that the world is put to good use for the Empire. The New Aldera suffered some damage in the invasion, but it's being recovered. Even if the New Alderaanians are a nuisance, Arcturus had some respect for their architecture. It's easy on the eyes at least.

But first, it is time for a celebration. Arcturus got some of his aides together and made a victory celebration party that Sith and Imperials can attend. It was fall in New Aldera today and it's quite a bit chilly.

Inside the Governor's Mansion the celebration would take place, there would be all manner of drinks, food, music. There would be a bar that's being manned and there would be staff in the area to attend to the whims of the guests in attendance. The spacious lobbies and the bar close-by would be where the the gathering is.

The Governor himself would be in the bar in the back casually observing the party goers, he would be wearing a black outfit and he made no attempt to hide his yellow eyes.

Open to any Sith!

Maelibus Alpha had heard of New Alderaan's upheaval and recent joining with the Empire, though he himself did not have an opportunity to participate in its acquisition. It was a regret though he hoped to rectify it with his participation in the defense of Ossus. In either case, now was not the time to discuss business, but rather enjoy the pleasantries of a new world. Echoes of the slithered through Sith circles, it was no surprise that the Champion decided to attend.

Maelibus Alpha was dressed in a pair of elegant, golden robes which flowed seamlessly from his shoulders down onto his ankles. HIs pants were also silk and of gold as was his customary Maelibi battle helm which also functioned as a traditional Kaleesh mask, enabling him to speak and eat/drink if he so chose without removing it. It had grown to a near extension of his own body, finding him without wearing it would be cause for a rare occasion. No shirt as always, the Kaleesh always preferred being barechested, visibly displaying his obsidian skin and the rippling muscles it proudly held.

Various articles of golden jewelry were on him including a new necklace as well as several bracelets bearing heritages of the Kalee world; his gait was slow and sauntered, broad shoulders carried him through the masses until he arrived at the bar to grab a drink. Thinking it would be a good time to make introductions, Maelibus Alpha strode towards the Governor, placing a fist on his own chest and bowing slightly in a formal greeting.

"Good Evening, Governor Alkaios. Congratulations on your new position..." @The Good Doctor

It had been a while since the last Sith social event, and Vahliri didn’t hesitate for long before accepting the invitation and deciding to attend this latest gathering - looking forward to the opportunity to socialize with her peers. It was only the Champion’s second time stepping foot on New Alderaan - and there was an undeniable twinge of satisfaction that came with her arrival - making her way towards the venue at the heart of New Aldera.

It had only been a short time since the half-Annfyn had last been on the picturesque world, spearheading the very invasion that brought it under the Imperial banner, and left the Jedi temple a smoldering pile of rubble in their wake.

Stepping through the entrance of the Governor’s Mansion, Vahliri gradually began to make her way towards the center of the room. As per usual, the half-Annfyn had taken the opportunity to get positively dolled up for the occasion - adorned an expensive lehenga of golden fabric, alongside a crimson-and-gold dupatta that draped across her right shoulder and a few golden bangles on her wrists. Her wavy black hair cascaded freely to the middle of her back, and she wore her signature floral perfume.

It didn’t take Vahliri long to spot those who had already arrived - her amber eyes drifting across the room and towards the bar. Her gaze settled upon the newly-appointed Governor, giving the man a respectful nod before turning her attention to the man beside him. The half-Annfyn blinked a few times, nose wrinkling and eyes narrowing ever-so-slightly at the sight of the Kaleesh warrior and his Dollar-tree-Luchadore get-up. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Vahliri promptly continued on her path towards a table at the end of the dancefloor.

Swiping up a glass from the table, Vahliri brought it to her lips and turned back to face the crowd - allowing her gaze to wander as more guests arrived.

Of course Altair was going to attend a social on New Alderaan. Nothing pleased him more than to show up at an event on the planet that was won as a result of his capture. This was something to show for it, even though the ladies did all the work. A part of him was still traumatized by his time as a prisoner, but his ego was too huge to keep him from returning to the planet.

Altair almost put on one of his usual baggy outfits, but ever since he was accepted into the Ziost academy he was constantly surrounded by well dressed individuals. As he grew up and took on more responsibility, his wardrobe slowly adapted as a result. He originally considered just showing up as he always did to these things. However, on a whim he casually decided to ask Nahri, or Vex as other Sith knew her, to join him. He had seen her on a few occasions now and he didn’t mind coming up with excuses to spend more time with her.

The tiefling was dressed in casual almost formalwear, still maintaining a part of himself. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up to reveal the defined forearms and his pants hung slightly low, held up loosely by a studded belt. He even wore boots. The vest and shirt fitted around his muscled chest and torso. He had styled his hair to keep it in check, his ears sporting various studs and piercings. His wrists also had beaded bracelets as always, several handmade tokens from his siblings.

Altair would walk in with Vex, always knowing she would dress to the nines. His gaze flicked in to take in sight of the others, spotting Vahliri at once. She always had a way of looking radiant at every occasion and this was no different. He smiled at her, his tail swishing eagerly at the sight of her. He waved at her before his gaze flicked to the governor and then the Kaleesh he had fought alongside briefly. What the heck was the guy wearing? Altair’s gaze lingered there for a bit longer, half perplexed and half impressed. Damn, Altair should have walked in with his bare chest - with his Emryc Thorne routine on point, his pecs were looking quite sick these days. He put the Luchadore get up idea in the back of his mind for a future, less formal, social.

“I’m surprised you ain’t come out to one of these before,” Altair said as he turned towards Vex - he had to remind himself he couldn't use her real name here, “They seem like your kinda party.”

Asher had never been to a social gathering prior to his stint in prison. Truth was is did very little except study to be a better Jedi prior to his capture. But after taking a small part in the victorious invasion of New Alderaan, his Mistress had invited the half-Sephi in joining her and their fellow Sith in a celebration at the new Governor's estate.

After a little prodding, the fallen Jedi accepted. Then realized he had no idea what to wear to such a thing. So he asked Caerllion (@LouJoVi ) for a recommendation. Having saved saved the Annfyn from a horde of spiders, Asher figured it was a small favor to ask.

Asher would walk in not far behind his Mistress, and her date. The latter catching him a bit by surprise for some reason. The half-Sephi wearing a dark plum purple suit over a black dress shirt and tie. Suddenly feeling a bit overdressed as he looked at the Tiefling's slightly more casual but still sharp attire. "Altair, Mistress." Addressing them with a small nod of the head and a nervous half smile.

Then, quickly finding a server droid. He lifted a red wine glass from the tray and proceeded to take a sip of liquid courage. Before looking around the room. Nearly choking on the wine as his eyes found Maelibus looking like he walked off the set of a holo-porn scene. "Ah, by the force. I can't un-see that." Blurting, perhaps a little to loud. Quickly darting his head away to find Vahliri, the charming woman who drug him out to the middle of no where on a treasure hunt. "Wow."

It was an impressive turn of events that had now lead to the Jedi-friendly world into the hands of the Sith Empire. Tiamat had not stuck around after retrieving a slightly confused Altair from his captures, but she was aware of the invasion that Vahliri had lead afterwards. Now she was back herself, to celebrate the new union of New Alderaanians absorption into the Empire; despite the victory, there was of course still work that needed to be done, she was schedule to meet with the engineers in the coming days.

However, this evening, was opportunity to relax, maybe make some more connections. By now, she was used to these types of events, after going to so many, they weren't as burdensome anymore.

Tiamat arrived, choosing something elegant, but showy as she walked in with her black gown. She wore her red hair tied up and back, held in place with a crescent hair pin and her wrists were lined with various sized gold bangles. There were several sith she recognized, first was Vahl (@Altaris) in her gorgeous lehenga. She gave the woman a smile and a small wave before picking up a glass of champagne.

Tia took a sip and saw Altair (@Sreeya), her blue eyes lingering on him for a moment longer than she realized as she took in his attire, finding it fitted him quite well. Then of course, the one sith in the gold cape (@Faded), she had to take a moment to question what was going on with this...but no equation was adding up in her mind.

Very little was running through Aadya's mind as she sat casually sunken into the backseat of the airspeeder that was taking her to the party. She stared out and watched as the sights of New Alderaan whipped by, though they were little more than indistinguishable splotches viewed through tinted windows.

It was strange. Aadya assumed that liberating Altair from prison would have brought her some level of contentment, but since the prison break she had felt little else than weary. A cloud of listless melancholy seemed to hover over her incessantly and she didn't really know why.

Which is why she found herself on the way to a party now. If there was anything that could kick someone out of a funk, it was a Sith party. Plus, Altar was going to be there and she hadn't seen him since the victory at the prison.

That, at the very least, she was confident would bring a smile to her face. Despite no longer being together, the guy would always hold a very special place in her heart. He'd given Aadya something she could carry with her that gave her comfort and for that she was forever grateful.

As her thoughts drifted away from Altair and back to the hazy blankness from before, Aadya finally arrived at the party. Taking a couple of hundred credits from her pocket, she tipped her drive and slid out of the car and smoothed out her dress before heading towards the entrance.

Floating through the crowd, Aadya spotted Vahl first. She greeted the woman with a friendly if short-lived smile, finding her own drink and taking a swig.

I like your dress, she said, her tone honest. You really do need to tell me where you buy your shit. I'm starting to get bored of everything I own./color] She flashed Vahl another smile before turning her gaze towards the crowd that had gathered, scanning for familiar faces.

Soleil'd stuck around after the fighting ended to both work in-field with soldiers and pore over the stolen Jedi archives, adding copies to Sith collections and sending originals off to safe places. His frustration over the battle itself was overshadowed by a sense of victorious pride. There was no way he'd turn down this invitation.

Without the strictures of a formal "Ball"- he still didn't really get the difference between that and a party aside from pomp- Soleil was able to dress more like himself. A casual-formal fit along with mixed rings from different consignment shops. A simple chrono on his left wrist contrasted a green bead bracelet on his right, joined by his red Wrean coral studs, nails painted the color of sea glass, and a pair of light patterned boots. He also wore a new pair of black glasses; turns out some of the clumsiness was his eyes above water. Sol figured he'd be pretty out of place next to anyone in something like a formal three-piece suit, but he liked this better anyway.

Soleil strode into the party and looked around. He waved toward Tiamat (@GABA) in her stunning black gown that looked like it'd be even more beautiful when she danced. Then he passed by Altair (@Sreeya) and Vex pausing upon seeing the Tiefling's outfit. His brows rose and he gave Altair a greeting nod and appreciative thumbs up, rather liking the mixed look on him and how it showed off his features. Vex got a greeting nod too before he moved past, unwilling to interrupt them.

There was also a guy he didn't know in a formal plum three-piece and a tall shirtless dude wearing enough gold to blind passing spacecraft. He gave Asher (@Taz) a sympathetic grimace as he blurted his thoughts aloud. Sol pulled his eyes away from that bewildering sight and walked to the bar, spotting Vahliri (@Altaris) in her own golden layers next to Aadya (@Logan) in black. Somehow that felt weird, but he went along with it. He gave the Governor (@The Good Doctor) a respectful nod on his way over; they had something to talk about, but later.

He stopped near them, looking between the two women. Sol waved, which turned into his usual salute-like sign language <hello>. Then he paused, lips slowly widening into an impish little smile. 'Aadya, Vahl!' he projected telepathically so both could hear. After a moment- long statements were harder for him- he added, 'You look great!' His silent voice didn't have the best inflection or tone yet, but it was still the first time Aadya had heard it.

Vex wasn't sure how she got pressganged into this. Maybe it was the way Altair had asked her, farmer's accent weakening the nuts and bolts of her heart until she just had to go. For some reason, the thought of upsetting him by refusing to hide in her... woman-cave?... back on Belsavis upset her, and so here she was, accompanying him on a date. And she didn't regret it. She thought she would be used to how stunning he looked, but every time she saw him in a new setting was like seeing him again for the first time, and tonight was no different.

A part of her felt bad. She had to come as 'Vex' and all that entailed. Which meant she didn't look how he was used to seeing her. The necklace at her breast reconfigured her appearance into that of a Mirialan woman, the same disguise she had been using for awhile now outside her armor. But the disguise would have features of hers that he would recognize. The braids in her hair, its luster and color, among them. And then there was the way she dressed. Never wanting him to see her in the same dress twice, she had come in a dark blue dress this time, embroidered with golden patterns and with a slight part on the right side that revealed the barest sliver of her upper thighs. This was a dress of her own design, instead of her mother's hand-me-downs that he had seen her in before. She was also wearing the bracelet of kyber he had brought her back on Serenno.

He was saying something to her, but her attention was on the walking supernova in a Kaleesh battle mask. She knew Kaleesh warriors never appeared without their masks in public — a relatable affliction — but the drapes he was wearing in combination with his distinct lack of a shirt made him look like he had just walked off a porn shoot instead of an Imperial Star Destroyer. "Yes," she replied, finally prying her eyes away. "For the life of me, I cannot imagine why either."

There were a number of familiar faces around. A few from the prison break they had sprung Altair from. The only Sith she recognized by name were Vahl (@Altaris) and Asher. She had met the former on more than one occasions. Asher was one of her employees, though, and she was glad to see him out and about. She inclined her head at him and gave him a brief, cordial smile (@Taz) before returning her gaze to the room.

"You should introduce me to some of your friends," Vex said, still not entirely sure it was a good idea. Socialization with other Sith was still not one hundred percent her wheelhouse and there was no telling what direction the night would take once the drinks started flying. "Unless you'd rather keep me to yourself all night." She lopped her arm with his, something about the the connection grounding her amidst the overwhelming sea of faces. "I wouldn't protest to that a bit." @Sreeya

While he wasn’t someone that missed social events, Caerllion contemplated if he should have gone on this one. While he knew how important such events were to meet other individuals and establish alliances, the Annfyn recently had another argument with his step-mother that killed all his mood for a party.

However, when Asher said that Vex was going on it, the Acolyte finally decided that he was going. It was so rare for her to participate in these events that he wanted to be here to see if something interesting would happen with her presence here. He was also going to thank Altair for having convinced her to leave Castle Gaol. The place could be depressing, even for a Sith.

Altair was another surprise. During their mission together, the Annfyn never thought that the Tiefling would be capable of dressing that well, or at least dressing in something that would be suitable for such an event. Perhaps he had a significant other that helped him in choosing such clothes. Whatever this person was, they have a really good taste.

When he arrived at the palace, Caerllion looked around in search of familiar faces. Since he was coming from Annwfyn, the Acolyte didn’t arrive with his Master. He saw Tiamat and felt relieved for not accepting Wodan stupid game. She would probably try to kill him if he tried to flirt with her in the last event.

Once he found Vex and Asher (@Taz), the Acolyte walked toward them. He approached the half-Sephi in time to hear him talking about Maelibus (@Faded), the same Kaleesh Champion that worked with Caerllion in a mission in Mirial. “Terrible. At least you didn’t see him on a mission. He looked more prepared to be a stripper than to fight.” he whispered to the other Sith.

The young man thought that the golden cloak that the Kaleesh was wearing was so ridiculous. He wondered if Maelibus had stolen the curtains of his home to make these things. Perhaps his wife would arrive at any moment, angry for him taking it from the house.

Caerllion nodden at Vex and Altair (@Mockingjay @Sreeya), before turning to look better at Asher. He admired the Champion’s body, before a smile appeared on his lips. “I see that my suggestions worked. You are really well dressed. I would say that you are even gorgeous.” the Annfyn felt a bit proud for having influenced the other Sith to dress that well. He always prided himself for dressing perfectly on such occasions. The outfit that he was wearing was bought exactly for this party and the black nailpolish with a silver dot on his nails was something that he would always use in an event like this one.

Vahliri subconsciously ran a hand across the front of her skirt, smoothing out the golden fabric as she took a sip from her glass. As the music thrummed in her fluted ears, the half-Annfyn’s amber gaze lazily drifted across the open room - watching from a distance as a stream of new faces poured in - several of them recognized at once and contributed to the smile that worked its way onto the Champion’s lips. Of course, it didn’t take Vahliri more than a moment to pick out Altair from the crowd - her face lighting up a bit as she spotted those familiar horns peaking up above the crowds.

As he stepped into view, the half-Annfyn couldn’t help the way her lips parted and grew ever-so-slightly slack - eyes widening a bit as she took in the sight of what he was wearing. In all the years she had known him, Vahliri had grown exceptionally accustomed to the Tiefling’s baggy style - his decision to dress up a bit for the party catching her entirely off-guard. He looked stunning, and her gaze lingered on the exposed forearms and fitted vest far longer than was necessary.

She finally blinked a few times, the smile on her lips tugging wider as she brushed back a strand black hair with her fingers. Almost at once, there was an obvious movement of the half-Annfyn’s fluted ears - swiveling and twitching wildly in all the ways that indicated she was exceptionally pleased. Vahliri waved him over, gesturing for the Tiefling to join her at the table. Her gaze briefly flicked over to the Mirialan woman he arrived with, arching a brow ever-so-slightly as she regarded the woman who she didn’t immediately recognize.

She spotted Asher and Tiamat next as they entered the mansion, offering the former a wave of her fingers before turning her attention to the redheaded Sith. She flashed Tiamat a wide smile, silently mouthing a ‘Daaamnn’ as she gestured to the woman’s stunning gown.

Her attention lingered before finally being drawn towards the figure approaching - spotting Aadya at once. Not so long ago, the sight of the Firrerreo would’ve soured the half-Annfyn’s mood - but quite a bit had changed between them, especially in the aftermath of the Altair’s prison break. She flashed Aadya a smile, giving the woman a half turn. “You like it?” She said, her tone genuinely pleasant. “One of these days we should hit up my usual place if you’re looking to get something new,” The half-Annfyn tipped her drink a bit and gestured to Aadya’s own dress. “You look great, by the way."

"How've you been? Haven't seen you around in a while."

Vahliri turned only when Sol approached from the crowd, flashing the Wrean Acolyte a grin. “Hey kiddo,” She said with a playful edge to her voice, smiling warmly at him. It had been a while since she’d last seen him, and their last encounter had been only miles from where they were standing now, fighting alongside one another during the planetary invasion.

Altair followed Vex’s gaze to Maelibus, at first wondering if she was checking him out. However, between Asher’s comment and her own sarcasm, it finally dawned on him that perhaps the Luchadore attire wasn’t well regarded here. Whatever, the tiefling gave the Kaleesh (@Faded ) an appreciative nod that silently said ‘I see you bro’ because Altair could always appreciate gym rats and showing off them hard earned pecs.

He smiled at Asher (@Taz), “Hey man!” He said cheerfully, watching the exchanges in greetings until Asher walked away. Altair looked back at Vex, quirking a brow, “I didn’t know he was one of yours,” He remarked, but it wasn’t surprising. As a Sith Master she likely had more than one apprentice even. The room quickly filled in with others and Altair’s gaze found Aadya’s (@Logan), taking in sight of her from a distance as he smiled at her. She always looked incredible and chose outfits that fit her form perfectly. Next he looked at Tiamat who also wore an impressive gown that revealed just enough to be teasing. He gave a casual jut of his chin as Sol (@Mr. Teatime )walked by before his attention returned to Vex. The woman always managed to look like a queen in any setting, and it always left him in awe. The fact that she wore the bracelet he had given her filled him with delight, his tail swishing happily. He took her arm and grinned at her.

“Damn, if I knew keeping you to myself all night was an option, I wouldn’t have even suggested coming out in public,” He said almost in a whisper as his tail subtly brushed along her spine. Altair looked over to spot Vahliri motioning for him to join where she and Aadya stood. The tiefling began to step towards that direction but saw Sol join them. Deciding he didn’t feel like dealing with children right now, Altair simply gave Vahl a breezy wave of his hand and instead used the Force to bring over two glasses of champagne. He handed one to Vex, clinking their glasses in cheers before he guided her towards Tiamat.

“Sith Master Tiamat,” He said in greeting, using her formal title, “Meet Sith Master Vex,” Altair glanced between the two women, “Figured I’d kick off the intros with the toughest chicks in the room,” He said with a grin before looking back at Tiamat, “You look amazing, Tia,” He said with a smile, genuinely impressed by her getup.

Altair quirked a brow, “Now I hate smalltalk, so Imma share a fun fact about each of you,” He took a drink, “Vex here got completely surprise bitchslapped by some invisible Force monster and I had to play hero and save the day. Tiamat here will book it in the opposite direction like a little girl at the first sign of any spooky shit,” Altair gave a nice shit eating grin to top it all off, raising his glass before taking another sip.

Tiamat took small sips of her drink as she casually made her way around the hall until her path crossed with Altair and his date for the evening. He greeted her as well as the woman he was with, giving her a face to a name that had been floating among the Empire, Vex. Her blue eyes flickered from Altair to the woman and she gave her a small grin and nod, "Finally glad I am able to put a face to a name." she told her before Altair chimed in with his compliment about her outfit, "Thank you, as do you both. Its great to see most of us take pride in how we look." she said, internally cringing at the gold caped Kaleesh.

Though fashion didn't seem to stick as Altair had other plans, sharing his "fun fact" about each of the women. Vex first with her needing to be swooped out of danger, and then herself, hightailing her way from danger. The redheaded woman's eyebrows rose slowly with each of the facts that Altair gave.

"Well, this little girl has learned to book it the fastest. She will not hesitate to sacrifice the slow to whatever gave chase." she hummed, taking a longer drink from her champagne flute.

"You would have loved Rakata Prime, then," Vex remarked to Tiamat. She had heard stories about this woman. Apparently, one of the greatest minds in the Empire. Vex wasn't exactly surprised Altair knew her, but she was surprised to finally meet her. Tiamat was among the higher-tier Sith she had long looked up to. "We're still combing that temple for ghouls and all manner of leftover ancient traps." A devious smirk crossed her face. "Besides, he leaves out the part where he flattened a crazed old man with the Force. The end result was like a juicer."

Her smile faded into something more reverent when she returned Tiamat's nod with one of her own. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you," she said. "I hear we just missed each other the last time we were on this planet. From what I heard, you were mostly responsible for getting Altair out." She tossed a bemused look between the two of them. "How did that go? By the time I arrived, the Jedi were heading for the holes you lot carved for them to crawl out of."

And the Jedi she had met was less than pleased to see Vex blocking her way out. While she waited to hear more, Vex swished her finger to summon a server droid. "Something Serrenian for me, and whatever he wants," She gestured to Altair. He had gotten her drinks the first time they went out like this, so it was only natural she repay the favor. And then she waved dismissively at the Kaleesh no one seemed to be able to take their eyes off of. "And get him something too while you're at it. Whatever he wants. He looks like he could use a drink, or seven." @Sreeya @GABA

Well at least he got a smile from the half-Annfyn woman (@Altaris ). He thought as he breathed a a disappointing sigh in and out through nose, his nostrils slightly flared. Then returned Altair's (@Sreeya ) greeting with a toast like motion of his glass. The half-Sephi would of liked to continue to hang with the Tiefling stud, but also didn't want to be third wheel to his Mistress. So he would at least attempt to make other friends....then maybe crash their table.

Asher actually smiled as Caer approached and the two trade barbs over the appearance of the Kaleesh (@Faded ). The half-Sephi thought of the nightclub Altair recently took both he and the Kaleesh to after Ossus. Suddenly seeing a pattern. "A testament to the species. The odd rat goat things that they are." He whispered back to Caer (@LouJoVi ).

"Yes. Well, I thought it looked the part. But it appears that punk rock is back in style." He then spoke up to Caer as he gave a nod toward Altair. "You realize we're the only other men here, other then that boy, and the only woman here to notice us is the Mistress? Must be the tail." Asher mused. "Thank you by the way. I'm clueless about things like this." He wait, waving his hand over his suit and then about the room. "You though.." he said simply as he looked over the outfit with a half smile. "You have an eye, can't hang in a den of spider, but you look good running away."

It was nice for once to spend more than a few days on a planet before once more heading into the void towards another world. The fact that these few days would be punctuated by a lavish gathering at the New Imperial Governor's residence was both exciting and terrifying for the Firrerrian noble. Wodan spent the early years of his life attending such gatherings and the latter constantly groomed to attend them, however despite his upbringing and heritage. The Acolyte barley had two credits to rub together, much of his old wealth well and truly spent by this point in time. So how was he to afford an outfit to match such an occasion, luckily he was able to cobble together some funds from the sale of his outfit to the last meeting. Knowing full well that the same outfit would make him the centre of ridicule within the elite.

Luckily these few credits and the partly crashed economy of New Alderaann had allowed him to purchase something clean and sophisticated. It was less regal than he was used to but it would serve its purpose tonight.

Wodan arrived shortly after the start of the festivities, arriving within the early period of ‘fashionably late’. As his gaze shifted across the gathered Imperial dignitaries he spotted a number of people he had already met at least on one occasion. As usual staff drifted in and out of the crowds hardly being recognised by those who they served. One passed the Firrerrian and Wodan picked up a glass of what appeared to be champagne from the moving tray, though he didn’t take a sip. The drink there more to keep his hands occupied than quench his thirst or dull his senses.

Stepping away from the entrance his eyes continued to dance across the groups as he made his decision on where to insert himself. The enticement of one of the only members of the gathering he had yet to meet @Logan pulled the Firrerrian in that direction. Clumsy words and stupid gestures fadded away from his mind as years of training slowly took hold, his neck straightening, his shoulders rolling back the posture of a Prince taking hold as he reached the three. He eyed Vhaliri on his approach signalling that he was coming towards her with eye contact. Stepping into the small circle he smiled, “Miss Khatal.” He began holding out his right palm, if she offered her hand he would bow and hold it close to his lips, being careful to only let his breath run across her skin and not kiss them proper. Turning to Soleil, Wodan still hadn’t gotten the hang of his mental abilities so as well as greeting him aloud he said the words in his mind. “Mr Altan.” He said with a strong nod.

Finally he turned to the unknown. “Wōđanaz Buri Ása-Liðar, it is a pleasure Miss?” He asked, holding out his hand in a similar manner to Vhaliri.

A man named John walked in. He wore a three-piece suit, a red tie, and cufflinks on his shirt. His face was pink and sweaty. A paper sailboat hat was on his head.

The others were walking and talking around him in their outfits and some he made eye contact with and some he did not. He went to the bar and got a tall glass of iced milk. He held the glass firmly and took a long drink. During this time John’s other arm started rising, although he did not remember moving it. It kept rising until it was pointed at Maelibus @Faded. Then, one by one, all of the risen hand’s fingers rose and pointed at Maelibus until it looked like John might force lightning this person.

John kept drinking his milk with his good arm. One, two, three… twenty seconds his possessed arm did this thing at Maelibus before dropping. John crunched the ice with his back molars. “Wayl,” he said loudly. “Guess my arm needs training.”

Arcturus was pleased to see that the celebration he is hosting has a good turn out, even attracting some very notable names Sith Masters Tiamat and Vex, renown Sith Champions Altair and Vahliri. Arcturus acknowledged all who nodded at to him and those well-known Sith with a nod of his own. He will have to thank Vahliri in particular soon, it was her initiative on New Alderaan that made this celebration possible in the first place. Soleil fought at New Alderaan as well didn't he too? Then him as well.

Then some sort of alien clad gold robes and some sort of goat head came before him. The Sith Governor looked upon him his yellow corrupted eyes and silently judged him even as they said congradulations to him. The Sith Governor did not set a particular dress code for this event. Sith could come with whatever basically, although some others looked well dressed for this occasion at the Governor's Palace.

Arcturus did consider that maybe he should have as he looked at the weird figure. "Good evening, and thank you." he simply said as he would huff smoke in a different direction. "Hope you enjoy the festivities." he said as he parted away from the goat alien, not preferring his company. He would then walk towards where the others are slowly, perhaps he will mingle with some of the other more presentable Sith that don't look like carnival entertainers

Caerllion laughed with Asher’s comment about the Kaleesh. “I think that there is an interesting story behind it. You need to tell me about it later.” the Annfyn wasn’t someone that lived to hear gossip, but occasionally hearing some wasn’t bad. Even more if it was about someone with such a dreadful sense of fashion.

Perhaps.” the Annfyn said, before turning to look at Altair. All the women in the party were gathering around him. “This can also be the horns. If it was the muscles, our Kaleesh friend would have been the center of attention.” he wondered if Maeliubus walked around half-naked because he wanted to impress a possible partner.

Poor thing, someone really needs to teach him about how relationships worked in the civilized Galaxy. Of course, Caerllion wasn’t going to do it. He loved having a clown during a show during such boring parties. It was refreshing.

It seems that we aren’t the only men here anymore.” He pointed at Wodan (@Braden). The sight of the Firrerreo made the Annfyn frown. Was he dressed to a party or to participate in a military parade? At least he wasn’t looking like a luchadore that came out of the most shady fighting arena in Nar Shaddaa.

The Annfyn smiled at Asher. “If you knew the spiders that live in my homeworld, you would understand why I hate them. But thanks for your praise.” he turned to look at Vex, she was still there with Altair and didn’t seem to be coming back soon. “Do you know, since there are only the two of us here, would you like to dance with me? Or do you prefer to stay here waiting for my Master?

Altair cough laughed when Vex mentioned the old man he turned into salsa against a pillar. In truth, the tiefling felt a lot of guilt about it and had no idea their big sorcerer target was a grizzled old man, “You ain’t ever lettin’ me live that down are you?” He said as he got himself a mixed rum drink. He took a sip as he recalled the rescue, “I was a mess,” He admitted, “I couldn’t see straight and they drugged me up good,” Altair glanced at Vex, “I tell you they tried sawing my horns off?” He pointed to the dents and scuff marks on his horns, “Pulled out a vibroblade and everything,” It had been traumatizing for him. He quickly took a bigger gulp of his drink, deciding this topic actually made him rather uncomfortable.

The tiefling glanced over at the others, spotting Wodan (@Braden) across the room. If he glanced over, Altair smiled at the man and raised his drink in greeting. He next spotted the governor (@The Good Doctor )greeting Maelibus and walking towards the crowd. The tiefling waved him over, “Guv’nah!” He called out in his usual accent, “Thanks for hostin’ this shindig,” Altair said before he gestured to the ladies to introduce themselves. Truthfully, he wanted to dance, but he played the role of introductions as requested by Vex. Every now and then, he glanced down at comlink for the time as he drank from his glass. His gaze flicked to Vahliri every now and then, his mind wandering once again to Cairo or Ashla and how they all made fools of themselves at these gatherings. Those days felt like centuries ago.
