APPEARANCE:
Cayde is a darker chocolate brown in hue with glowing amber eyes. He likes to put his hair into dreads and keeps a nicely trimmed beard. Cayde prefers wearing darker clothes that don’t create too much suspicion but allow him to blend in with the common people.
ATTRIBUTES:
Cayde is an exceptional swordsman but prefers to rely on defensive measures. As such, he is an adept practitioner of Form III or Soresu. Cayde is also an adept Force user and as he practiced physical defense with his purple lightsaber, he practiced mental defense as well. He does not raise his voice or let his emotions get the best of him which also helps him with negotiations. He is a very well rounded guy who peaks a little higher than his fellow Forde users in the art of Defense through both the Force, fencing, and in speech.
Cayde is also a natural pilot and and pretty good mechanic that knows the basic parts of a starship like the back of his hand. He's an above average pilot and his love for starships is hard to beat.
Cayde expects the best from himself and gets very hard on himself if he fails a task or screws up. He is definitely a perfectionist and won't allow himself to fall short of what he knows he can accomplish. Instead of going into a rage and throwing a tantrum when he screws up, he just gets super overwhelmingly depressed and beats himself over even the smallest of things.

PERSONALITY:
Though Cayde is an EX-Jedi Knight in the Order, but that still doesn’t stop him from wanting to learn and be taught new things. He is as teachable as he is a good teacher. Cayde has a very calm demeanor about him and he always seems focused on the task at hand. He is also very laid back and easy to get along with.
He strives to make as little contention with others as possible and prefers making a new friend than a new enemy. This makes Cayde a good negotiator and has allowed him to walk away from some very potentially dangerous situations and has used this talent to help others do the same or find an agreement and settle arguments.
Cayde is extremely loyal to the Code of the Guardians of the Whills and follows it to the best of his ability.
Besides that, Cayde loves flying starships and usually blows off steam by flying around for a bit to calm himself and focus on what's currently the priority. Though Cayde is adept in defense on ground battles, in thy sky he prefers offensive measures simply because of the thrill of combat in the skies. Otherwise, Cayde is most happy when he's in a cockpit.
BIOGRAPHY:
Cayde hailed from Tatooine and never knew his parents, growing up as an orphaned slave to a local scrapper's guild. He learned a bit about starships and how they worked and continued to pick up on his skills as an engineer as a Jedi. He was eventually found and brought up into the Jedi Order at age eight, and began his training in the ways of the Force. He stuck by the Code and did his best to stay on the path of Light. However, too many times he found that though he could stay true to the Code, he felt that he wasn't staying true to himself.
After becoming an official Jedi Knight in the Order, he was sent on a mission to investigate the old Rebellion base on Hoth and was met by troops of the Sith Empire. Cayde took out the group and investigated their camp and found out they had come from Bespin. Cayde investigated further, but got his nose in deep with the sharks, nearly being killed on Cloud City.
Injured and confused, Cayde suspected a Sith plot behind the troops on Bespin and fled to (crashed on) Dagobah to ponder these findings. While on the swamp planet, Cayde felt the power of the Dark Side once again, but this time emanating from a single cave. Cayde felt the presence of the Sith and ignited his purple Saber, eventually finding the Dark Side user through the Force. The Sith attacked first, as Cayde had intended, but while they fought, the Sith tried to convince Cayde that the Jedi Code was old and was not a true reflection of what was in Cayde's heart. The Sith revealed himself to be Cayde, but twisted by the Dark Side.
Cayde admitted that he was not as good a follower of the Code as his other brothers and sisters, but knew that he could never be what stood before him. Cayde decided not to fight, seeing as this cave was a test of sorts and began to pull his dark reflection into himself. He had passion, but he would never let it control him.
After repairing his ship and pondering the test in the cave, a voice called out to him- not one of Darkness, but one of Light. It directed him to Jedha where he found a tablet among the debris from the Scar of Jedha. The tablet read the following;
Peace is not alone, there is also Passion
Through Passion and Control I gain Balance
Through Balance Peace is Restored
Through Balance and Peace, I Am One With the Force
The Force is with Me.
It was the answer Cayde had been searching for his whole life. He soon left the Jedi Order in self exile and has been following his own path to one day become one with the Force- even after death. Since then, Cayde began following the old ways of the Guardians of the Whills and has been trying to find others willing to join his cause and Code.
