Cassus is a man who stands slightly above average in height with a strong athletic build from all the missions he went on as a Jedi Knight. He appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties with short, almost curly brown hair, and bright blue eyes. Often, Cassus will have a few days worth of red stubble on his face as he finds it gives him a slight edge in negotiations.

Having trained as a Jedi most of his life, Cassus is both physically fit and nimble, capable of wielding a lightsaber with fluid and grace, or powerfully, capable of battering down someone's defenses. This training has given him a hearty constitution and a force-enhanced endurance. As a Sith, Cassus is about as intelligent as one might suspect, and though he tries to impart his own wisdom he tends to come off as very rash and hard-headed making it sometimes difficult to work with him, and often look like a hypocrite. This can have a negative effect on his charisma, but Cassus still tries to be personable with others. Just don't get on his nerves.

PERSONALITY

Cassus is best described as pleasantly jaded. While being a Jedi means he often aspires to be a perfect example of what a peacekeeper should be he often realizes that it's hard to be both good and right. This will force the Jedi Knight to choose one, and more occasionally than not, he opts to do what is good than what is right. Surprisingly, Cassus is actually a fairly likable fellow who knows how to carry a conversation and shows genuine concern for those he calls friends. However, it is more than a little difficult for Cassus to describe a person as a true friend as his jaded personality often forces him to keep people at arms' length, too worried he will get close to someone only to lose them. Like many other Jedi, Cassus is a very sanguine fellow who feels things very deeply, something he often has to come to terms with as he tries to follow the Jedi Code. When it comes to negotiations, Cassus is thoughtful and meditative, knowing how to turn a phrase and put his personality to good use.

His own skill leads him to be somewhat rash and overconfident in his abilities, an issue he realizes he has, and does his best to let the more positive aspects of his personality come out when socializing. His negative characteristics rarely becoming a serious problem, but they can make him somewhat prickly and hard to work with on occasion if he feels particularly strongly about something.

As a Jedi who has spent the better part of his life with the Order, Cassus is more than well-acquainted with heartache and loss because of the dangerous nature of being a peacekeeper and a warrior having lost many friends to thugs, smugglers, slavers, and even a Sith. As a result, Cassus has eschewed from making attachments too easily with other people, Jedi in particular, as he does not wish to lose another dear friend. It is for this reason he pushes his students very hard, and despite being very warm and patient with them, only accepts their best efforts. This is also seen in his tendency to have more casual relationships, both platonically and romantically, than serious ones, though that's not to say Cassus won't settle down for the right woman.

After the Battle of Garel, Cassus began doubting the Order's methods and reasoning for fighting the Sith. The execution of the Sith prisoner and the bombing of the Korriban temple pushed him over the edge during a mission on Coruscant where he finally gave in to the dark side. Now with the help of the Sith Corvo, he has fully embraced the freedom and power of the Dark Side of the Force, allowing its influence to corrupt him. While Cassus may still hate many Sith, he realizes now that they are the lesser of the two evils in the Galaxy, and finds their view of the Force more liberating, their code and ideals more honest and freeing than the dogmatic lies of the Jedi. Now that he has been freed, Cassus desires power. The power only the Sith can provide.

BIOGRAPHY
[fancybox4="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/3a/d9/a5/3ad9a54b0c3fe33c605bb442a4cdc554.jpg"] Born into one of the noble families on the planet Serenno, Cassus Lammerai was discovered to be strong in the Force at a very young age by an undercover Jedi Knight known as Racatha Shelar. Convincing Cassus's parents that he would be much better suited as a Jedi then left to the dark overlords who had taken control of Serenno, Racatha took the young noble back to the Jedi where he began training as a youngling eventually becoming Racatha's Padawan at the age of eleven. During this time he would meet his friend and fellow Padawan and student of Racatha, Amaala, a female Togruta at the age of seven.

The next eight years would be difficult for the young Padawan as he struggled through the infamous teenage years dealing with raging hormones, distractions, desires, and his own Master's wishes. During this formative years, Cassus became close friends with fellow Padawan Amaarla Ky, an exotic-looking Togruta (even for Togruta standards) who was a few years older than him, when both of their masters were assigned to the same mission.

After many years of training, Cassus was eventually promoted to Jedi Knight at the age of nineteen. When he was twenty-one, Cassus would go on a mission where he met a young Mandalorian female by the name of Kalii Wren. She was distraught at being unable to prevent her siblings' capture by the Sith, Kalii wanted to make a difference, and noticing how she was also strong in the Force, took her on to be his First apprentice.

At the age of twenty-three, Cassus was sent out on a mission on the planet Lothal in the Outer Rim. There he was paired up with the young Rae Arwen Bell, a Padawan with whom he had developed a strong bond and friendship with despite their clashes over differing personalities and fighting over a Jedi's place in the Galaxy and their purpose as peacekeepers. In spite of their fights and disagreements, Cassus found Rae to be quite enjoyable and an excellent partner for missions, despite only being a Padawan. Some time later Rae asked him to be her spouse, to which the older Jedi responded with "uhh..." and she took that as a yes.

Soon after, Cassus would meet Saerina Avrikana and take her on as an apprentice as well, just in time for Kalii to be promoted to Knighthood. Eventually, she too would be trained up to become a Jedi Knight, making Cassus proud to have gotten the opportunity to teach such a fine young Jedi and watch her grow.

When he was twenty-seven and out on a mission for the Jedi, Cassus met a Togruta female named Vera Rosh who had been enslaved. Immediately, the Knight's heart went out to the young female and he managed to purchase her from the slaver owners at a discounted price with his skills of negotiation and the aid of the Force. Taking her from that place, Cassus quickly discovered that Vera was strong in the Force. Taking her back with him, the Jedi knight began teaching her in the ways of the Force.

As the years passed, one by one his students began to graduate from Padawans and became fully fledged Knights. With each one, Cassus demonstrated his pride and respect for each of his students by awarding them a gift, unique to each student. However, despite the many Jedi he trained to knighthood, he would still have to bear the losses of friends and acquaintances. Being a Jedi is a melancholy job for Cassus, one which he accepts and does his best to handle using his own training as a Jedi to deal with any negative emotions from the losses. Now, he continues to train his Padawans, and goes on missions for the Jedi, hoping to one day beat back those who occupy and oppress his homeworld.

Having participated in the battle of Garel, Cassus and his former Padawan Kalii helped to defeat the Sith Warlord Astigi T'I'm, causing him to explode from the Force. Afterwards, Cassus witnessed the unjust execution of a Sith prisoner on Garel which shook his faith in the Jedi and made him rethink their methods. While on a mission to Coruscant, Cassus met a fellow Jedi named Maddison, unfortunately they encountered a Sith named Corvo who revealed to Cassus that his close friend Shae had bombed the Sith Temple on Korriban, killing thousands including children and innocents. This pushed him over the edge. Such an act was horrific, and the fact his friend had done it at the behest of the Jedi Lord was too much to bare. Cassus let his rage and anger at the hypocrisy of the Jedi consume him and as Maddison was cut down by Corvo, Cassus pledged his support to the Sith Lord.

Turning on his fellow Jedi, Cassus returned to Tython with Shae, and their friend Kyrene, a fellow rebel Jedi, Cassus's former Padawans Kalii and Vera, the rebel Alex Karn, and two rogues named Valek and the other Bardan Kex. They attacked the Tython Temple in hopes of destroying it. After breaching the walls with Shae, Cassus fought a girl he had met named Leira Rys and her master before continuing on and finding Adun and Tamara Umari and defeating them both and slaying the younglings they were protecting.
