The War had recently ended, and now the rest of the Galaxy began to pick up the pieces. Arkantos sat alone near the counter of one of the bars upon the Wheel, sipping a warm glass of ne'tra gal, a traditional mandalorian alcoholic beverages. Just some hours before he had been fighting against the Sith Empire, and now here he was, hiding amungst a crowd of celebrating citizens. "Cheers!" a rowdy drunk patron yelled, sticking his drink infront of Arkantos' rather serious face. Arkantos' eyes shifted to the belligerent drunk man, as he uncharismatically brought his drink up to touch glass with the other. "You know my brother fought on Coruscant, he's an Imperial Officer. He's a hero! He's the talk of our town back on.." Arkantos didn't give the man a chance to finish his sentence as he got up and walked away.
"Psh. A hero?!" the Jedi thought to himself. Then again, it is the winners that write the history books. Arkantos lifted his cloak and walked down through the corridors of the space station. Arkantos had managed to fight off and evade a group of Imperial soldiers while the rest of the city fell. While Arkantos secured the evacuation of many of the planet's citizens, he was no fool in trying to fight off every last Imperial he saw. He knew the Jedi would go into hiding, and the remaining Alliance forces would be dissolved. The Mandalorians would probably focus on taking smaller worlds now, maybe even go back into seclusion to their own worlds, but with no War to speak of, they had no real purpose now. He could go back home and hide with his clan, if they accepted him...or be killed. Maybe he could hide in the mountain ranges, were few Mandalorians bothered to go. He could travel and continue his plan to meet other force users, and learn from them, maybe even find more of his Jedi brethren. He had a plethora of options to choose from, yet no real path was clear to him other than stop being stationary.
With the War at an end, Arkantos was free to do as he pleased, so long as he stay hidden from Imperial worlds. He'd be safe on the Wheel, if not for a short while longer, he was sure the Empire would begin Jedi search parties soon. But to go anywhere, he'd need money. His talents as a Jedi would allow him to tilt the games on the ship to his favor. If only to gain enough money to get off the stationary ship, and onto somewhere less... populated. For now, he had to keep his identity as a Jedi hidden, his hilt placed neatly on his back strap, as to not alert other patrons of his possible Jedi affiliation. For now, he'd try his luck in the Grand Casino, a popular casino were he was sure to make a few quick creds. He sat down on a relatively new table, with only two other betters on the table. He took his place as a waitress took his order, no ne'tra gal here, so he ordered a whiskey, and threw some chips on the table, "60 credits on 24." He could use the Force to alter the shift in this game, it would be rather easy. He could gather some minor funds here, enough to get him a ship ride off. The game: the jubilee wheel.
