Casany was born in the Outer Rim Territories, not on any planet or moon but on a freighter known as the Lost Forge. She never knew her father and was raised by her mother, Evla Praxor. The Praxors once hailed from an asteroid station, Kad-Stor, what used to be abandoned until it was resettled by a Mandalorian enclave.
Following the Empire's Great Purge of Mandalorians, some of the remnants banded together and settled the asteroid, isolating themselves over the years and maintaining covert operations such as supply runs. They were Clan Praxor, and their way was survival through secrecy, a notion not so unique among their people throughout the years.
However, Clan Praxor and their home of Kad-Stor would find themselves at war with a new enemy after the fall of the Empire; a foe who had discovered their location and offered no more mercy than their predecessor. A ferocious battle ensued upon and around the asteroid, ultimately leading to Clan Praxor's demise, save for a few survivors who had not been at Kad-Stor at the time.
One of them was Casany's grandfather and the father of Evla, the latter who survives to this day. Under familial tutelage, Casany served as the clan's armorer. For her part, however, the Lost Forge no longer became her calling, neither a life in hiding. Ensuring her mother's safety, Casany forged a new path.
Even with all of the time that has passed since the Great Purge, the wounds since inflicted upon the Mandalorians can lead to agony, the dead howling throughout space. In some strange way, Casany could hear the calls and the cries, and the only way for her to deal with them was to move forward.
Upon the fall of Kad-Stor and the near demise of Clan Praxor, Casany was tasked with roaming the expanse to gather intelligence and feed it her family for their own survival.
She did so by becoming a bounty bunter, drifting around while honing her skills and feeding her family with more than knowledge. Though, bounty hunting was grim work as far as she carried it out, and a kind of indifference took hold in her heart the longer her clan remained in hiding.
She had since come to doubt the future of the Mandalorians overall until the Orar’da’yadr came into the picture. Casany and Clan joined up but that future remains just as uncertain.
Now the Alor is entrenched in a coming war with the Sith and, perhaps, the Mandalorians under Mand’alor. Though she is still one of them. Whatever she is or is not, Casany has never stopped being a Mandalorian. Lifetimes made sure of it, and so do the dead.

Casany can be bold and blunt and takes that same approach to solving problems. This does not make her stand out as a Mandalorian although she considers herself to be as unique as anyone else, namely with regards to how Clan Praxor came about and how they survived.
Violence and conflict grew on Casany over the years. As a young woman she was trained to venture from home to secure supplies and intel and sometimes that meant running into enemies who she could not hesitate to dispose of. At the same time she learned how to navigate the stars and developed a yearning to take to them.
On the other hand, though not shy she is not dismissed of feeling embarrassed when the occasion calls for it. She appreciates humor, can fight as well as dine, and otherwise knows how to have a good time, whether in combat or with glass in hand, though she can't dance.
She will not hesitate to kill, yet she will not kill needlessly. If she can take her bounties in alive then she will do so, especially if she gets paid more for it. However, Casany is not afraid to pull the trigger or swing the sword. By fire she was forged. That is the life of a Praxor.
