A light smile curled on Alyses features as Kori acted coy about venturing into the Governor's library or perusing through the collective works that the blonde Sith Lord had amassed. Whether the Jedi master chose to take on or even attempt some of the abilities described within the texts that by the Jedi orders standards would be considered forbidden knowledge, Alyse didn't care all that much, she was not going to force her partner to act out against her own principles, or make her wield any abilities she was uncomfortable with - the collection was there and made available to the Zeltron, even should she wish to just further her own understanding and knowledge rather than to practice.

Her dwelling on the fact was cut short as like herself, the Zeltron had started to circle around the blonde, taking a similar strategy to Alyse. Her eyes being drawn to her partner as once again, Kori teased her about wanting her prize so badly. Rather than be baited into responding the ashen blonde made a sudden jerk to the side, evading the downwards swipe to her ankle. Using and carrying the momentum into a spin on her heel to bring both of her blades in a sweeping downwards swing towards the Zeltron.

As the sound of blades crackling confirmed that Kori had managed to muster a defence, the Ashen blonde froze up. Her senses picking up on an impending arrival to the Estate. "How could I have forgotten?" Alyse groaned in frustration, before sighing as she deactivated her lightsabers. "He rises just as early as I do" she resumed before holding out and handing over her lightsabers to the Zeltron. Once Kori had secured her own lightsabers away and taken custody of the Governor's weapons, the ashen blonde wrapped her arms around the Zeltron's frame, pulling her in tight and kissing her affectionately. "Tonight I will be yours entirely" Alyse spoke as their lips parted, before a slight sigh escaped her lips. "But for now, I have matters to attend to" she added apologetically, as she hesitantly withdrew from her embrace, hands slowly drawing along the Zeltron's forearms.

"Morto'Toc will be with us soon, I must return and get ready for his arrival" Alyse spoke as her hands finally parted from their contact with her partner. Her gaze falling to the side for a moment before looking around the clearing. "You can stay here and continue with your exercises if you'd prefer to do so?" she added, flashing the Zeltron an apologetic smile, before turning on her feet and proceeding to swiftly return back to their home, to get herself ready to receive the inbound Senator. Leaving Kori to either remain and continue with her mornings training, or follow the Governor back to the Estate.

It didn't surprise Kori that Alyse easily dodged her move. Nor was the subsequent swing of both blades downwards. It now took a conscious effort to hide the intent between the duo; to the point where an outside observer could see their duel as a rehearsed dance with lightsabers. Perhaps a different opponent might have helped; but Kori wouldn't trade this for anything else.

Not to mention that the Zeltron immediately knew that something was off. Both Kori and Alyse stopped at exactly the same moment. The four blades stopped screeching and hissed extinguished. Something was up; or rather, someone. Needless to say, the Zeltron accepted the lightsabers and display of affection... rather eagerly. The blonde's words afterwards elicited a wide cheeky grin, accompanied by a burst of warmth through their bond: "So, like all those previous nights?" Parry this... Governor.

Nykoria's hands were still busy holding Alyse's sabers; something she probably wouldn't want to show to whomever that Morto'Toc was. Otherwise she wouldn't have handed over her weapons. "Yeah, I think I'll hold them for you and..." the Zeltron shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe it's best for me to stay here and meditate in the meantime." The very wording of Alyse's offer suggested it was the best course of action.

"And don't worry about your stuff, I'll take good care of it," the Zeltron added as she noticed some tension in the blonde; it wasn't just the bond that gave it away; Alyse looked to the side while mentioning those matters. "Depending on how things go, might let you go for that smoke," she added with a warm smile, before assuming a sitting pose right there, on the cold ground. Chills ran through her back as she tried to focus on her inner Light and push away the cold. "See you soon," the Zeltron added somewhat distractedly, as her hazel eyes closed in concentration.

A coy smile curling on her lips as Kori teased her about the previous nights, her lips pursing slightly as she started to gather herself and pool her energies before her departure - whilst continuing to listen to the Zeltron speak as she sat herself down on the cold ground. A hand reaching over to gently caress her partner's face for a moment. "I know you will, though I do think that smoke will pale in comparison to what you have planned for me" Alyse responded as her thumb gave a final pass over the Zeltron's flushing cheek - before with a swift crack and a gust of turbulent air the blonde left the clearing, the Force carrying her rapid return back to their home.

Once she had returned back to the estate, the ashen blonde swiftly made her way up to the master bedroom, and into the ensuite, stripping off the sweaty training outfit and depositing them into the laundry hamper - the sequence all following in a fluid motion that was concluded with the Governor stepping into the Sonic shower to bathe and refresh herself in preparation for the coming day's work ahead.

Once she refresher cycle had finished, Alyse emerged from the bathroom, trailing wisps of steam as she towelled herself off. A coy smirk spreading on her features as she shuffled through her wardrobe picking out her formal blouse and tunic dress attire and setting the articles down on the bed before moving to her chest of drawers, retrieving her chosen and earlier hinted at undergarments. Setting herself down on the bed the Ashen blonde looked into the mirror as she attempted to open her mind into the shared bond that she held with Kori, they had been able to talk through shared thoughts, and perhaps it was more just the intent to tease and confirm that she had accepted her loss of their wager - but also to see whether they could share in what each were seeing through their bond.

As the ashen blonde proceeded to dress herself, fleeting images of her own sight and that of the reflection in the mirror - would attempt to pass through their bond, carried with sensations of her fingers feeling the soft touch of the black silken garments as she drew on and fastened the clasps of her bra, before attentively easing on the matching thong cut briefs, her fingers tracing over and teasing the elasticated fabric whilst turning to ensure that the clinging cuts of cloth sat correctly around her, hugging and accentuating the curves of her frame both front and back. Followed by slowly drawing on the sheer black stockings over her bare legs, knowing all to well that ultimately if this worked and Kori would be able to see the glimpses that the Blonde would tease her partner with - Kori would inevitably seek to do likewise at a later date and knowing the Zeltron's penchant for humour and toying with the Blonde, Kori would undoubtedly do so in the middle of a major press conference or speach!

With her flurry of images projected through their Force bond concluded, and hopefully the Zeltron's passions stoked for her prize later tonight. Alyse continued rather unceremoniously with donning her intended outfit for the day, complimented with a swift brush oh her hair, pulling on her headband and finally topped off with a light misting of her perfume.

As she slipped her feet into her formal dress shoes, the blonde looked up as she could hear the Senator's transport pull up at front of the estate. Perfectly timed Aylse mused as she quickly reached out with the Force to manipulate and straighten the sheets of the bed, before stepping out of the room and making her war down to the front lobby of the house to receive her guest. Opening the door the blonde greeted the Chiss with a warm smile. "Morto'Toc, expedient as always" Alyse spoke as she gave the veteran Senator and her political mentor a light and formal embrace, before stepping back and inviting the man into her home. "Thank you Ms Ti'varnus, I trust your travels proved to be beneficial?" The Chiss replied as he crossed the threshold, before Alyse closed the door behind them. "They were very much so, unexpected on a few outcomes but the main issue had been dealt with" the blonde answered as she lead the Senator to her study.

"And your guest?" Morto'Toc enquired as he moved to his offered seat pausing slightly to take in the sight of the latest acquired artifacts that had been recovered from the Tomb on Demir. "She is taking in her morning exercises at the moment and no doubt be with us soon, but there have been developments between us. Which, is why I have requested your attendance, I will need you to officiate some documents for me, as well as to discuss some contingency arrangements" Alyse explained whilst she pottered about preparing a cup of Caff for her guest and herself, before setting the cups down on the desk and then sitting down herself.

"But first off, on our return we had discovered a old Imperial Star Destroyer within the Queluhan Nebula. Mostly functional and intact, if the fleet are able to salvage the ship, it would be a beneficial asset for our ability to defend ours and our neighbours sectors" Alyse resumed after taking a sip from her Caff, like with any meeting with the Chiss mentor and political confidant, it was straight into the pressing matters first.

With Alyse running off to meet her unknown visitor, Kori was left to herself. She did see the blonde off with her eyes, before returning to her meditation... Or so it appeared. In reality, Kori couldn't let go of one thing that had been bothering her for weeks now. How to reach out to the Jedi and what to tell them.

The secure channel for Nykoria to contact her friends in the Order was yet to be established. But the closer the day of inevitable message came, the less confident the Zeltron became. It wasn't about Alyse and Bakura—that was still where Kori wanted to be—but rather about explaining her reasons without seeming too selfish. Was the Jedi Order really better off without her? Or did she quit just because... Because... of this.

The image that flashed across Kori's mind illustrated exactly what she might have left the Jedi for. It seemed to vivid to be real, prompting the Zeltron to open her eyes and examine the surrounding clearing. Nothing. But as she closed her eyes again, she felt something else. Opening her mind to the Force—and with some effort—she saw a mirror. However, instead of a familiar scarred purple mug, Kori was met with an face of the ashen blonde she had been so familiar with.

Alabaster hands weren't Kori's own either. And yet, as the Zeltron opened herself to the Force and the bond between her and Alyse, she felt the blonde's hand as her own. And then, in a moment, the vision was gone; all that remained was a flushed Zeltron who lost her concentration after sensing the fabric on her fingers. It took a conscious effort on both sides to see what was going on; an effort that Alyse so easily disrupted thanks to her... creativity.

Somehow, she knew when Alyse had something she wanted to show. The Zeltron regained her concentration and caught one last glimpse and touch of the stockings before the Governor chose to cease the projection on her end. Needless to say, normal meditation was now out of the question, and the Jedi problems were forgotten. Kori remained sitting with her eyes staring past the trees absent-mindedly, and a smirk forming on her lips. Alyse didn't know yet what she had unleashed...

A light chuckle escaped the ashen blonde Governor's lips as she watched her mentor do a double take to make sure that he had heard her correctly, confirmation being given as she nodded whilst the Chiss silently mouthed the words Star Destroyer a wry smile curling on her lips. "Yes you did hear me correctly" Alyse resumed with another light chortle before taking another sip from her Caff, her chestnut hued gaze raised over the brim of her cup as she awaited Morto'Toc's response. "Regardless of how you came across the Ship in the Nebula, I do agree it would be wise to make arrangements for it's salvage. I will make contact with the Fleet Admiral following our Morning briefing" the Chiss replied, eliciting a light nod and smile from the blonde Governess.

Leaning back in her seat, the Ashen blonde, turned her gaze down towards the offered sheets of parchment, with a summary of the latest memos and news pushes that had been circulated in the evening following her and Kori's return to Bakura. One of which caused Alyse to roll her eyes at, that accursed tabloid article that had aired, and had brought about no end of teasing from her Partner that evening - well up until the point that Alyse had steered the Zeltron's attention away from the article onto something else that would keep her mouth and tongue busy and distracted from her unique wit. Her eyes moving away from the screen capture of the super imposed Zeltron slave beside Alyse and the veiled Kori, as Morto' cleared his throat. "We have taken the measures to disprove the attempt to tarnish your image with the image doctoring, re circulating the press footage from the Launching ceremony of the B.D.S. Prytis, as part of an press update on it's shake down trials entering it's final stages" the Chiss explained, before taking pause for a moment to take a sip of his own caff. "Although I must forewarn you that by doing so, it will raise questions regarding your guest once again" he added, after he set his cup down on the desk.

The Chiss' crimson eyes raised up to meet Alyse's gaze as he folded his hands over one another, the blondes eyes lowering as she pursed her lips in thought, anticipating what was coming next. "Whilst I am aware of who your guest is, not by name, formally but just by the opposing nature she is to you" Morto' resumed, pausing slightly as Alyse raised her hand to try and interject, but instead deciding to resume. "We must consider making arrangements for her to be...." the Chiss resumed, before being verbally cut off. The Governess knew where this lecture was headed, and sought to put the matter to bed. "Jedi Master Nykoria Tallis, will be remaining on Bakura" Alyse spoke, as her eyes locked firm with her confidant's. "She has declared her allegiance to the safeguarding of Bakura.... and" she added, before pausing slightly. "She has declared herself to me, as have I declared myself to her" she added with a slight sigh but a lingering and genuine affection on her features, before reaching to pick up her cup and take another mouthful.

"Kori will in time integrate herself into Bakuran Society, but not as her current Identity. She has elected to take the name Valora when in public, so if you can make arrangements for the necessary documents to be found it would be appreciated" Alyse resumed as she set the cup down. Her eyes raising up to catch the Chiss nodding in acknowledgement before the tell tale signs of a coming question were plastered over his features. "And what of the Jedi and the Sith?" he questioned, forcing a wry grin on the blonde's features as she rose up from her seat to retrieve the percolator pot to top up both hers and Morto'toc's caff. "The Jedi, Kori will attend to, however she will require a secure channel to be set up to contact the Order to inform them of her resignation. Ideally one of the encrypted channels from the black sites should be sufficient to ensure her secret is maintained." Alyse advised, as she poured some more caff into her guest's cup, followed by herown.

"The Sith however" Alyse resumed as she stepped away to return the percolator back towards the side table, her mind opening into the Force slightly to draw on her bond with the Zeltron and call upon her. "Provided that our tithes are continued to be paid, I would envision that they would continue to grant myself and Bakura our autonomy" she added, before turning round to return back to her seat. "However" Alyse resumed with a slight sigh as she sat herself down and reached into one of the drawers of her desk, retrieving a small data stick and sliding it onto the desk and over towards the Chiss.

"Have this copied and distributed to all Bakuran controlled Media outlets and Holonet broadcastors, and perhaps even our off world assets" the Blonde explained as she leant back in her seat. "The contents of which would be released under the Bak protocol" She added, with a slight sigh as her confidant nodded in understanding - it was something that as much as she knew within the nature of the Sith, Treachery and betrayal were a historical way of life within the ranks of the Dark side. As much as she knew the lesser ranks of the Order would have jumped at the opportunity to seize and slay the Jedi master for their own gain, their attempts had been countered by the Sith Lord's continuation on keeping the Jedi at her side. Now however that there was a bond and intimate relationship between the two, contingencies and insurance policies had to be made.

"Very well, I trust the same access protocols and encryptions are in place for the Bak protocol" Morto'toc eventually responded as he slid the data stick off the table and into his sleeve pocket in one fluid motion, the blonde simply nodding in response as she sipped at her topped up beverage. Her eyes shifting to the side as she felt her partner ease away from the clearing. "Would there be any other matters that you require addressing?" the Chiss asked, likewise sensing that they would have additional company. "Yes, before Kori returns" Alyse responded with a slight nod, before once again reaching down into the drawers of her desk, pulling out two black leather bound documents. "I have updated the details of my benefactors and estate, if you can have them officiated" she resumed as she handed the legal documents over to her confidant.

Clearing the mind of all the ideas that Alyse had given the Zeltron with that Force Bond stunt proved problematic. Not that Kori even wanted to. That day, she'd rather not clear her mind and focus on her surroundings. Instead, she thought of the close bond that the Governor and the Jedi shared, and the creative applications of it. Especially during the important meetings, like the one Alyse was having at the moment. Alas, Kori's plan couldn't be executed outside and in the cold.

No matter, I've had my share of training for today. With a mischievous smirk that promised the Bakuran Governor a dose of humiliation beyond what the tabloids could give, the Zeltron stood up. Her partner's sabers in hands, Kori headed back towards the estate. The plan could be set in motion at any time; but such a beautiful moment couldn't be rushed.

Before she could carry out her plan, Kori would need to get into the house. She opted for the back door, to avoid crossing paths with Alyse and her guest. First things first: put the sabers away; then get done with the laundry. By the time Kori hit the sonic shower, she had already reconsidered. The payback would have to wait until after the business was concluded. Then the extent of that bond could truly be tested.

After all, what could be more teasing than the transfer sensations through the Force? Only the knowledge that as little or as much could arrive at any given moment...

The Chiss looked over the legal documents for a brief moment before his brow furrowed, in response to the sound of the wooden joists of the house creaking under the movement of another within the household. As foreboding and imposing the Estate appeared due to its age was, there was the benefit that with the older form of construction being used, it did allow for the groans and creaks to give an indication of another's presence. Using the Force to sense and feel the whereabouts of others was one thing, but what if they were concealing their presence? - a groaning floor board was enough to give away an intruders movements.

"That would be her" Alyse reasoned as her gaze shifted upwards to the ceiling, a slight affectionate grin appearing on the edge of her lips as her gaze returned back to Morto'Toc as he continued to read over the legal documents that Alyse has drafted in secrecy from her partner. "These do appear to be in order" the Chiss spoke as he set the binders down onto the desk, opening them out onto the final pages of each binder. Knowing what would come next, the Ashen blonde raised up from her seat, picking up her favoured fountain pen and removing the cap as she walked around to the Chiss' side.

Leaning in to sign the documents, the Ashen blonde handed the pen over to the Chiss once her signatures had been deposited on the parchment paper. Before in turn Morto signed his signature beneath to confirm his witnessing of the Governors signing of the documents. Taking the returned pen the Ashen blonde paced back to her seat, setting the pen down beside it's inkwell Alyse picked up her Caff as she returned into the comfort of her seat. Downing a few mouthfuls of the cooling beverage before reaching over to take one of black leather binders being handed back to her. One copy to remain on the Governor's property, the second to be filed and stored with the Bakuran government's legal department, yet both would contain the same contents pertaining to what would happen should she fall. The recent excursion into the Unknown Regions was enough of a reminder of that inevitability, and something that should the worse happen, the Governor had now ensured that her Partner will protected by Bakuran law as Alyse's sole beneficiary.

Sliding the black binder to the side for a moment, the blonde turned her attention back to the Chiss confidant, as he brought the morning meeting towards its conclusion, moving the topic of conversation towards the coming matters. "Then there is of course the pending Charity Gala" Morto'Toc spoke, as he tidied up his papers and documents. "Oh, so has the committee finally decided on the theme for this year?" Alyse questioned, with a slight smile the widened into a grin in response to the look of exasperation on the Chiss' features. Like every year the committee would make the formalising of the year's theme such a long and drawn out ordeal, that not only was it being parodied by the press outlets, but there had been word of betting pools forming in various departments on how many creative directors would resign before the announcement was made.

"Yes, it would be a masquerade as tradition, and themed around ... Rather originally... The Manana Harvest" the Chiss revealed with a dry tone of sarcasm to his words, a light twitching of her brow line being offered in response by the Blonde. "Well maybe some day they may elect to deliver the Gala on time, rather than delaying it until autumn" The governor spoke with a light grin on her features, before her lips pursed in thought thinking back to her earlier discussions with her partner. "So would I be correct in my assumption that this year you will be using your plus one invite?" The Chiss inquired, before his like Alyse's gaze was directed towards the ceiling as the sound of movement above was renewed and drawing closer "I would certainly hope that would be the case. Though I'm certain she can be given the encouragement to attend" the governor responded, her voice picking up to ensure that her approaching partner would hear.

Refreshed and dressed up in her preferred indigo robes—befitting a Jedi, but made of more refined Bakuran fabrics—Nykoria found herself brushing her hair when she heard Alyse's words from the room below. One benefit of being a Jedi was heightened perception: the Zeltron heard not only her loved one's remark, but the part about the Gala. Something that her and Alyse had discussed before. A part of her wanted to reply right there and then, but that would be impolite.

No, the Zeltron took a few moments to finish with her hair. Only then did she go downstairs, knocking on the door and stepping in after a few moments, unless told not to. "Discussing me?" the Zeltron asked Alyse with a smile, before her attention turned to the bald blue-skinned Chiss. "Senator," she added, recognizing one of the people who had been managing Bakura's affairs and also briefing Alyse on the recent developments. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

Looking up as on the other side of the door to her study, she could feel the presence and approach of her partner on the other side- the confirmation coming from the light knocking on the door. A light smile touching on her lips as she watched Kori stepped in, wearing her indigo Bakuran robes. The Governor's gaze raised up from toe to head, before resting steady after her gaze locked with that of Kori's. The governors smile curled a little as Kori questioned whether they were discussing her, as a hand shifted to the side to tuck the black leather file binder further out of the Zeltron's sight. "You might have come up in our discussions" Alyse spoke with a light grin, before gesturing for her partner to enter the study and join the two. Her gaze moving towards the Chiss Senator as he rose out of his seat, not to depart but more as an indicator of polite respect towards the latest addition to the room.

"Lady Valora" Morto'Toc spoke with a slight nod of his head, before looking towards the Zeltron a slight knowing smile. Making it clear that knew who Kori really was, but for the sake appearances he elected to refer to the Zeltron under her assumed name. "We were just discussing the belated announcement of the Charity Gala" the Chiss explained before sitting himself down, and returning his gaze back to meet the Governor's. "And debating whether you would be in attendance" the blonde added, as her gaze moved towards her partner, lingering over the Zeltron for a few moments before her lips pursed in thought before guesturing towards an empty seat.

Noticing that the Senator had started to keep watch of the chronometer, Alyse nodded mostly to herself that their briefing meeting might have started to over run. the blonde pursed her lips in thought for a moment. "One last thing, has there been any update from the intelligence surveillance around the Nihil Retreat?" Alyse inquired, as she set her empty cup of Caff to the side. Her eyebrow arching as the Chiss cautiously looked towards Kori for a moment, before looking back to see Alyse nodding in confirmation. "We are still carrying out analysis of the reports, but initial scouting reports are confirming the re-emergance among the Sorcerers of Rhand" Morto'Toc advised, before watching as Alyse sighed and raised up from her seat, and pacing towards one of the bookshelves behind her. "So the rumours were true then" the blonde sighed as she returned with an old leather bound book under her arm, before setting the book down onto the side of the desk but chose to remain standing.

"This would be best nipped in the bud before the influence can spread. We need to prepare and make arrangements for a strike force to be assembled"

Kori didn't have to be asked twice, so she entered the study on Alyse's gesture. Few words were exchanged with the Chiss, but something told the Jedi Master that there was more going on behind the scenes. With the Senator taking most of Kori's attention, the file binder was easily pushed away without the Zeltron noticing.

"I just might be," now it was Kori's turn to smile, as she proceeded towards the seat that Alyse had offered. "Depending on whether there is an invitation." The political implications of the Bakuran governor aided by a Jedi could be... unpleasant, given the world's distrust of Force users. But luckily, Nykoria Tallis was nowhere near as prominent, so perhaps a change of name—and maybe some dermal reconstruction surgery to get rid of the telltale burns from Coruscant—could do the trick.

Apparently, there was more to the meeting that discussing the long-awaited Charity Gala. The Nihil were a familiar, but almost forgotten name from centuries past. Much like the Sith, who alas had proven to be more than just a bad memory. Alyse choosing to stand was a telltale sign—it was the Bakuran Governor talking; Nykoria's... No, Valora's direct superior. Still in her seat, the Zeltron propped up her chin with the thumb and the index finger: "Have there been any attacks on our assets nearby worlds? If so, Bakura could lend aid."

To Kori, a justified "casus belli" was an important part of carrying out any offensive operations; through the bond they shared, Alyse would know as much, and all about the Zeltron's reservations.

A light smile flashed over the blonde governor’s features as Kori sat down on the offered seat beside her, eyes making brief contact as she nodded to her partner’s comments about whether she would be given an invite to the Gala. “Of course you would be invited” Alyse confirmed before her attention returned back to the Chiss aide as he resumed his briefing over the intelligence gathering surrounding the Nihil Retreat, and the rather concerning resurgence of the Sorcerers of Rhand. The governor’s eyes flitting between Morto’Toc and Kori’s as the discussion continued between her ‘council’, with the Zeltron raising a prudent question, whether there had been any attacks on Bakuran assets – though whilst her own understanding was that they were still relatively isolated from Bakura to pose a threat, any attacks would have been on the survey ships that had ventured into the Sorcerer’s territories.

There was the undeniable sense of reluctance and reservation felt through the shared bond of the Human and the Zeltron, which was understandable. Kori was ultimately a Jedi first, and would be more inclined to shying away from rash sudden and uncalculated courses of action. Whilst on the other hand, and not necessarily a trait of her being a Sith, But Alyse would be inclined to act swiftly and decisively rather than deliberate. But for when it came to the threats of the Unknown Regions, both had learned that that was not necessarily the optimal approach – a blessing in a sense that Kori chose to remain by Alyse’s side to temper and reign in her more headstrong approach for direct action.

A sigh passed the blonde’s lips as she leant against the desk, before flicking her retrieved book open to its intended page and proceeding to set it aside to read for later. For the time being there was no quantifiable justification for an offensive operation as of yet, it was of course a matter of time. Pursing her lips, the Governor remained in thought for a moment as she contemplated the Options. “The use of their past legacy would not be justification enough” Alyse concluded with a slight sigh, as her eyes turned to meet Kori’s for a moment. “However that would not preclude us from sufficiently making preparations” she added as her attention then turned towards the Chiss. “Dispatch a small attack fleet to the neighbouring friendly sectors, headed by one of the Bakura Classes and maintain regular patrols of the sector, Should the Sorcerers elect to once again spread their will for destruction, we will cut them off before they can gain any momentum” the Governor concluded, before offering a slight sideways glance to her partner to gauge her reaction.

The Chiss nodded in acknowledgement to the advised strategy, before raising from his feet. “I will liaise with the BDF’s military staff to make arrangements as soon as possible” Morto’Tok confirmed before gathering his own files and recently acquired documentation received from the Governor, as he prepared to take his leave. “Before I depart however, I would recommend a visit to the ship yards, the first of the Senatorial Salis D’aar Yachts is due for completion, I hear the ship wrights are keen to provide you with a walkthrough of your travelling accommodation” he added with a slight smile, before his gaze moved between the two females. “Lady Valora, Governor Ti’Varnus” he offered in turn before taking his leave and motioned to leave the premises, accompanied by the Governor as she saw her guest out to the waiting transport.

With a dull thud, the doors to the mansion swung closed, followed by the heeled footsteps of the ashen blonde as she made her way back towards the study to re-join her partner. A slight grin lingering over her features as Alyse looked over her partner as she stepped through the door back into the study. “Well that is the morning’s business concluded” she spoke, not to state the obvious but to initiate their conversation. “So your new Ident documents will soon be prepared” Alyse resumed as she paced over towards the side board to pick up a fresh decanter of caff, pouring a cup for Kori and then proceeding to walk over and hand the cup to the Zeltron before topping up her own empty cup. “So I do hope you have firmly settled on your alias, Lady Valora

Alyse's plan was solid. As a Jedi once said about a lightsaber, "even when inactive, it could defuse a potentially volatile situation". The same applied to a Bakuran attack groups stationed in nearby sectors. The firepower alone would prevent a fight; which is what the Jedi were supposed to be about... And if they weren't, it was what Kori was about. So, the Zeltron's response to Alyse's plan was a simple and confident nod.

She stood up at the same time as the Minister and the Governor, acknowledging the news about the ship with a nod and a smile, not much different from the Chiss. But despite a wordless reception, the dull spark of curiosity wouldn't elude from the blonde, who went on to see the Chiss off.

On her return, Alyse would find the Zeltron leaning both palms on the desk and facing the entrance to the study. A much more casual and homey stance. She would accept the cup of coffee with a smile. Alyse's question though... It made Kori think. It was a big decision after all, and "firmly settled" was a strong choice of words for someone who had learned to doubt herself. A couple sips of coffee gave Nykoria some time to think.

"I guess it works," she replied after a moment of contemplation. She had often asked people to just call her Kori instead of her full name, deeming "Nykoria" too pompous. And now, when she had her own pick, she was suddenly hesitant. "Though..." a mischievous smirk came up, as the Zeltron was about to deliver the sudden punchline. "I feel that I'd like it more if you just call me Val."

A Slight sliver of as smirk could be seem from the outside edge of her cup, as the Governor sipped at the recently refilled caff. However, her eyes and browline did little to hide the sense of amusement to her partner's words. It seemed par for the course for Kori to have deliberated over the name that she was to take as her alias, before settling on Valoria, to only then request that she be addressed informally as Val. "I will bare that in mind Val, though I do prefer My Ashla for when we're in private" Alyse responded as as she lowered the cup away from her lips, casting an affectionate smile.

Setting the cup down onto the desk, the ashen blonde shifted her stance slightly so that she could sit on the edge of the desk. Her brow furrowing slightly at the sensation of her skirted tunic riding up a little as she did so, offering a brief glimpse of the upper hem of her stockings. Before with a slight shuffle of her hands, straightening and adjusting the fabric of her tunic dress to better cover herself up and prevent it from riding up any further. Knowing all to well that had her earlier attempts to tease her partner had the desired effect then it would likely be overkill - then again, if of course it hadn't then at the worst she's given Kori a quick peak of her later prize.

Reach back down for her Caff, wrapping the fingers of both hands around the cup and feeling the warmth of the liquid as it radiated though the cup. Alyse's eyes narrowed in thought for a moment whilst she took a sip of Caff. "I suppose we should find some time in our schedule to visit the ship yards" she spoke as she lowered the cup away from her lips, her eyes looking over towards her partner, before a wry smile crossed her features. "Afterall it would be best to make sure that our alternate living accommodation is comfortable for our travels" she added with a slight playful twitch of her eyebrows.

Silence would fall over the Governor as she sat for a few moments, finishing off her caff. The Pensive expression over the blonde's features giving indication that there was something working through her mind, a slight content sigh passing her lips as she set the emptied cup of caff down beside her, before her gaze moved towards Kori's. "Did you feel or see anything through our Bond earlier?" The Governor enquired, figuring that there would still be a few hours until the transit car was due to arrive to take the two to their next engagement for the day, leaving them with enough time to further explore the nature and the limitations of their bond. "As I'm curious as to just what the possibilities and even the limitations of what our bond can achieve"

"My Ashla" got the Zeltron every time. It drew a wide smile on Kori's lips, as her gaze shyly darted down, towards the hot black liquid in the cup. The two now found themselves sitting on the Governor's desk, cups of caf in hands. The hazels shot briefly to the side as Alyse adjusted her tunic; it took some effort for Kori to withhold a comment and take a sip of caf instead.

The warm liquid and the blonde's remark temporarily brought the Zeltron back from her thoughts into the there and then. It didn't last long though: the subsequent comment—and more importantly, how it was said—made the purple alien consider the possibilities. And of course Alyse had to mention what had transpired shortly after their... training.

"I did feel and see" Kori replied warmly, but with a spark of playfulness in her voice. "And that got me thinking..." she paused to finish her caf and put the now-empty cup aside, looking at her purple palm that still held the caf's warmth. "We could check how comfortable the accomodation is while testing our bond."

"Or..." With a soft sigh, the Jedi closed her eyes and put the index finger of her hand on the open palm of her other hand. For a few moments, she simply concentrated: focusing on that one feeling of touch and opening herself and her feelings to the Force, knowing that the blonde would most likely do the same. Then the finger moved towards the base of the palm and further: under the fabric of the robes, up the soft and sensitive inner side of the wrist. The touch would leave a mildly-ticklish sensation on Alyse's alabaster skin.

And then the finger would stop, hindered together with Kori's concentration by the fabric of her robe's sleeve. But the point was made. The Zeltron wouldn't even need to open her eyes to see the look on Alyse's face, when she could feel it on hers. The corners of Kori's lips curled up as Alyse realized the implications...

A curious expression crossed the blonde's features, which dissipated into a coy smirk at the suggestion of checking how comfortable their living accommodation would be aboard the new yacht that is presently due to roll of the production line. Although she figured that the furnishings wouldn't be in the factory or even fitted at this point, there was a slight devilish appeal towards the thought of them testing their accomodation.

The playful smirk however returned back to a look of curiosity as she watched Kori close her eyes and start to trace her index finger along the palm of her purple hued hand. Sensing that Kori was channeling the Force the ashen blonde followed the cue and opened her mind to the Force, reaching out towards her partner their bond and opening herself to it. Her brow furrowing as she felt the sensation of a phantom finger press against the inside palm of her own hand.

Moving her free hand closer to the one that was feeling the phantom touch of her partner through the Force, extending her index finger to trace and mirror Kori's movement. A light smile curled on her features, before stifling a slight giggle from the tickling sensation against her inside wrist. Her lips pursing in thought as the mused on the potential ramifications of what this could mean, she had earlier shared the sensations and images that she was sensing herself towards her partner. Now however, Kori was reaching out and touching Alyse though their Force bond. Something that given the often teasing nature of her partner, did raise an air of realisation that she would undoubtedly be at her partner's mercy at potentially the most inappropriate moments.

Keeping her hand held approximately around where she could sense Kori's ethereal touch, Alyse took a deep breath as she closed her eyes and concentrated on channeling the Force into their bond, opening the fingers of the hand that was mimicking Kori's movements and reaching though the Force towards the ethereal touch, attempting to see not whether she could feel the projected form of her partners hand, but if the Zeltron could then inturn feel Alyse wrap her fingers around the phantom hand and give it a gentle squeeze, that could be felt as if she was doing so through direct contact.

So far they had found that they could share the sensations that they were feeling with one another, as well as being able to touch the other remotely. If Alyse's attempts would come to fruition, then it could mean that they could feel the other's touch - by simply reaching out and focusing towards the other's presence in the Force

It was strange—otherworldly, and yet alluring—to feel your own touch on your skin resonate with someone else's. But even more surprising was the grip on Kori's own hand. It made the Zeltron break concentration, open her eyes and look at the blonde, only to realize that it wasn't Alyse's hand around her own wrist.

Sharing the feelings of one's own body was one thing; but touching someone else through the Force required the fine control and concentration that even Nykoria lacked. "Now that's... something," the Zeltron smirked, realizing the plentiful applications of the duo's bond. "Though it isn't much different from what I just did... Application-wise," Kori addded with a coy smirk.

"Only one question remains: whether you can close the door..." the smirk grew a little wider, as the Zeltron refused to elaborate whether she meant the physical door to the room they were in, or the metaphysical one between the senses of the two. "And whether you'd want to."

An intensely curious expression crossed the blondes features as her partner questioned whether she could close the door, her brow arching inquisitively as Alyse turned her gaze away from Kori and over towards the door to the Study. Eyes narrowing as she tried to calculate just what it was that the Zeltron was either refering to, or even planning. Was Kori refering to the door if the study or the proverbial door that maintained the link of their bond? If she was refering to the physical door, just what was it that the Zeltron was planning to do? Use the recently experimented techniques to hinder Alyses movement's towards the door - not that she wouldn't put it past Kori to do so, guessing and now all to aware of her partner's playful penchant for teasing.

As the blondes gaze returned to meet the Zeltron's, her wrist flicked slightly off to the side, manipulating the Force and closing the door with a slight dull thud, before she continued to advance closer towards her partner. Alyses chestnut hued eyes locking firm with Kori's as she out stretched her hands to meet and hold onto her partners own. Before opening her mind fully into the Force, her eyes phasing into their corrupted white state as she did so, and allowing the currents to flow through her and Kori both through their bond and their physical touch.

No words would part from the Governor's lips or spoken telepathically, only the sensations and emotions that the blonde was feeling were conveyed to Kori. The sensation and longing not for their connection to be closed, but rather explored further and opened wider to allow each of the other's essence to become as much as it was their own, a shared unity or oneness with eachother as it were. The intimacy between them shared as lovers was one thing, but that paled in comparison to what this bond was allowing them to achieve. Even with their conventional connections to the Force, Alyse doubted that they could achieve this level of intimacy with eachothers beings had it not been for the Bond.

But despite there being an overwhelming sensation of longing and desire to further develop their bond with one another. There was still a concerned reluctance, the stronger the bond between then would become, the greater the risk that it would present to Kori. After all, despite all that had transpired in the unknown regions, the connections and relationship that has formed between the governor and her newly appointed political overseer. There was the inescapable fact, that to those outside they were in effect a Jedi master held captive by a Sith Lord.

Even though now both Alyse and Kori had long since moved away from such notions it was still a pressing concern for the human, that in her keeping up with her tythes to the Sith. Any vindictive, petty and perhaps self serving member of the empire's ranks could invasively probe at the blondes connection to the Force to discover the bond she held with Kori. Ultimately putting her partner at risk. Of all the benefits and enlightening possibilities that the bond could present, it was the one draw back that ultimately put her significant other at risk that weighed heavier on her thoughts.
