A wave of relief washed over Luci once Maura's rainbow hair popped up on her smartpad. Most of her attention stayed on their call while she continued to watch and follow the ISC President from a distance.

"Yeah! He's even bigger in person!" She smiled back at the video feed of her friend, unable to resist feeling a bit of her own youthful side starting to break through again. She held back a bit on letting that shine through though. She was going to be a Knight any day now, and she felt she needed to start acting the way others had been expecting of her.

"No way -- you're here too?!" She tried to restrain some of her excitement, then waved at Layla and Basher even though she didn't seem to have their attention. Luci then stopped behind a tree and waited in the shade as she looked out at President Thorne and the gathering of other Jedi. "I'd love to help! Send me your location!" She then gave a friendly wave to Maura and lowered the device after their call ended.

Luci's pointy ears twitched and tilted forward ever so slightly as she returned her focus back to the ISC President, and to her surprise, Master Tarrell. Luci took a silent and flashless snapshot of the moment, a sneaky little smile on her face. 'Maybe I can get a selfie with him... But what would I say? Hi, my master was the guy that nearly died protecting you here?'

She huffed and looked down at her smartpad, gaze fixed to the man that Zak nearly gave his life to protect. Her smile shrunk, shifted to the side, and twisted. She still wasn't sure if President Thorne was worth the life of her master. It was something she found difficult to accept. Then her ear twitched at Fynn's mention of Zak's name. 'They're talking about him?' A flicker of the heart. The look of worry and suspicion she once had slowly faded to a soft smile.

Luci clutched the smartpad to her chest, her gaze stuck on the President and the other Jedi. The savory aroma of the Orcolan's sizzling meals tempting her to join the crowd. A smile crossed her lips, though she didn't really know why. She just watched for a moment, happy to see that Zak was at least being recognized for his heroic deed. A sense of peace gradually flowed over her.

Then after a couple moments of letting the relaxing feeling soothe her, Luci turned and began to walk away, the smile still on her face as she went to find her friend. She made sure to keep out of sight and take the long way around, trying not to distract the group and draw their attention away from one another.

Emryc glanced over when the Sephi Jedi (@Scoobert )addressed him. In truth, he was slightly surprised that the man didn’t express any prejudice when speaking with a half Sephi like Emryc. Nothing grated on a Sephi’s nerves like seeing half Sephi, especially when the half Sephi were more successful than them. It wasn’t often that Emryc met full Sephi and he couldn’t help the brief moment when his mind wandered to his origin. He wasn’t even aware whether his mother or father was a Sephi, but they likely had similar features to this man - elegant, graceful, tall, and with far more pronounced ears. He hadn’t thought about his origins since he had been a child.

“Thank you for your assistance,” Emryc said to Fynn, “Thyferra is indebted to the Jedi for this show of support,” He wasn’t going to seek Zak or anyone else out - he was the President. If people wanted to meet, they had to find him instead. The half Sephi gave a nod to Fynn before making his way over to the grill and towards the Jedi called Hamza as introduced by Fynn.

The Jedi (@Logan) clearly sensed Emryc eyeing the grilled veggies and the half Sephi walked over when beckoned. Though he warily eyed the spices that went on the veggies, almost considering declining the offer, he decided to try it. He took the proffered plate, grabbing plenty of extra napkins and a fork. It was obvious he was squeamish around touching food or getting anything on his hands. Emryc didn’t react right away to any spoken words, his focus on his food. He brought up a bit of pepper with the fork before his gaze finally flicked to meet Hamza’s, the silver eyes frosty and piercing as always.

“Rest assured, Knight Hamza,” The baritone rumbled with a velvety smooth finish, “I am fully grown where it matters,” He popped the pepper into his mouth and calmly eyed the man with that same cool gaze. The delivery, as was usual for him, was classically deadpan.

Emryc looked across the rest of the Jedi while addressing the orcolan still, “The Sith also supported the defense here. Would they be welcome to this encampment or no?”

Sarella’s expression immediately began to brighten - lips tugging sideways and towards a warm smile - as she approached Zathria. She had briefly encountered the woman back on Yavin and had been around temples in the past, but to say they’d been properly introduced would’ve been an exaggeration to be sure. “Likewise,” She said melodically, extending a hand to shake the other woman’s. She was already wearing clean, leather gloves - and notable didn’t remove them as she clasped Zathria’s. “I’m Sarella,” She tilted her head a bit, “Definitely feels like introductions are a bit overdue,” Amusement clearly laced her words.

Without delay, the Consular made her way over to the supply table - slowly removing her leather gloves and replacing them with a pair of latex, surgical ones. “I have, as it so happens.” She said back over her shoulder, glancing to Zathria. “It’s what I am best at.” She had spent years of her life dedicated to the role of a Consular and Healer, and could count on hand the amount of times she had even carried a saber in that time.

Sarella continued to listen and move alongside Zathria - up until the moment the other woman froze, going completely wide eyed. The Consuar’s gaze followed until she reached the towering figure of President Thorne in the distance - unable to hide the surprise off her own features. She knew the half-Sephi had been key to the defense of Thyferra and wasn’t above getting down in the trenches of a crisis - but she somehow hadn’t expected him all the same. After a few moments, Sarella glances back to Zathria - a knowing smirk spreading across her features.

“Something about triage,” She said, grinning towards the other woman.

“Think I can handle things here, y’know,” The Consular said, jutting her chin in the direction of the president. “If you want to go say hello.” She shrugged her shoulders a bit - the smile on her lips failing to falter. “Call it.. Diplomatic overtures with the ISC.” She waved a hand playfully. As she spoke, Sarella began to address the patient waiting for her - first tackling the acid burns that lined the girls arms.

It wasn’t until the Councilor approached that Sarella glanced up once more - giving the Sephi a nod of her head, “Councilor,” She said with a smile. “I think we have it handled over here - unless you’d like to lend a hand.” Sarella glanced back at the rest of the camp and multitudes of Jedi in attendance. “How are the rest of the efforts going?”

As Fynn took a look around and been greeted with smiles and and welcomes, it seemed they had it handled. Though Fynna wanted to help as much as possible. Taking a seat by a cot, he would look over to the line and wave one over as he would answer Sarella's question, "Well they're doing fine over there with the food and blankets. President Thorne has joined us and is looking to help however he can over there. Maura and Layla have went to set up the daycare. I'm going to check on them before too long." As he was speaking he would look at the young Duros girl, who was probably around the age of five or six, and she seemed to have swelling on the arm with massive bruising. "Alright dear, sit still for me okay?"

Fynn gently placed his hand over her arm at the forearm area, and would then close his eyes. Thinking about the area and what it would look like fixed, he would feel through the force. Letting it guide through his body. Wrapping around her arm and slowly beginning to ease the swelling. All the while, she had been sitting on the cot with dry tears on her face. Fynn felt bad about her situation.. who knows what all she had seen?

The Force began fixing the bone within. It seemed there was an internal fracture of the radial bone. Must have been very painful. Hopefully now she doesn't have to experience this pain again. Once he felt it finished, Fynn opened his eyes to see her astonished at what he was able to do. He forgot how taxing this ability can be. Even at a the strength in the force he has now, it was enough to make him feel it. The Sephi couldn't let it stop him though. He had to help at least a few more people. "Alright darling, you can back to mom now." Fynn said with a gentle smile. "Thank you mister Jedi." And with that the little girl ran off to her mother and then toward the campsite for the refugees.

"I can't imagine what they're going through.. It's good we're here to help as much as we can."
