DESCRIPTION
As part of a comprehensive package with their LT-12 Salvage Freighter, Bracca Shipyards added a bank of salvage and repair drones that can be added to the ship. The drones, known as the Bracca Salvage Works No. 97, are not independent droids and are instead run either automatically or manually from a computer bank. This can be the bank on the LT-12, or it can be another system of similar power and operating capacity. In either case, the drones only operated in a limited capacity and lack any sense of self-preservation. For this reason they were given a strong chassis to resist bumps and blows, although it won't stand up long against direct blaster fire, where two or three shots will disable them completely. The drones will register external damage, but short of reporting back to their central computer they will not go out of their way to prevent damage to themselves.

The two flanking manipulator arms of the drone are each equipped with an array of standard attachments useful for taking a ship apart, although the droids lack the fine precision and coordination to put a ship back together short of welding down a loose plate or two. Their repulsors are strong enough to keep them afloat in atmospheric conditions, but they can only carry a few extra kilograms each in these conditions. These drones are best used out of atmosphere where the lack of gravity allows them to move payloads far beyond their normal carrying capacity.

LEGALITY
Legal, although depending on what you are salvaging and where you may need special permits or licenses.

INTENT
The design for the LT-12 I used had drones prominently featured on the side, so I decided to make them both part of the ship and as independent drones to be used by characters or as set dressing. And yes, the scale between the ship and the drone is not accurate to the numbers on each page.
