Ark didn't gain any sort of confirmation from her, as to whether or not she'd actually learned the ability or not. It wasn't too entirely important to Ark that she did in fact learn the ability, though it was always a mission by Ark that he ensure that his students do indeed learn an ability before he drops the "lesson". It was certainly no conventional classroom, but Ark thought of himself as a respectable teacher that was fully capable of teaching his students what he intended.
It was hard not to notice her growing irritation at everything. Of 'course, they were all embarking on a tedious trek through the thickest and most dangerous portion of Kashyyyk, and Ark was hardly enthusiastic about being there either, though Ark vaguely felt it one of his many duties in the supporting role to comfort her. Instead of pushing lessons upon lessons on her, Ark would instead attempt to keep her mind busy while they crossed aver the muddy banks of the river.
The clicking and light chatter of the Wookie guide ahead of them momentarily distracted Ark, as he caught a few words on their progress, "When we have the time to raise our child..." Ark started, pausing a moment to formulate the words in the most diplomatic way possible, "Are you fine with him or her learning the ways of these wookies?"
It was an obvious question that never really came up until this point. As obvious as it was, Ark was very keen on his child gaining the full Wookie experience. Ark had only gained a part of the experience until he was shipped off to the Academy. He just never wanted to think about the notion that Drarkia wouldn't want this for her child.
