While the tension between clans was higher than before the revolutionary call, the Mandalorians still could work together for mutually beneficial causes. Especially when it had to do with the Imperials of either type. A few Mandalorians had managed to get themselves arrested and were being held on a Dungeon Ship just at the edge of Mandalorian space. When the call went out for a dangerous rescue mission, Cuyan jumped at the chance. His dedication to the cause, on the outside, was hard to match.

Sneaking aboard a dungeon ship was not the difficult part, oddly enough. Revolution had made it an unprotected husk. Sadly, the inside would still have plenty of opposition. It likely would not be long before the crew jumped to Imperial Space or executed the prisoners and moved on. Either way the Mandalorian teams had to move quickly once inside to liberate their brethren.

"Mar'eyir mohr vod." Cuyan muttered simply once they were aboard.

His partner was someone he had never met but also did not seem to be from a rival clan. That would make it less tense and easier to trust each other. Cuyan had his usual gear and was ready for his glorious death should they fail. He was always ready and accepting of death. A pair of mercenary guards came out to view the inconspicuous freighter that had docked. They likely assumed it was another supply drop. Once the Mandalorian armored men stepped out, that assumption would vanish.

So it was starting to look like Vax was on official prison break duty. This would be his second one in just a few weeks, but this one promised to be a bit more...well straight forward. Several teams of 2 were to dock a various parts of the prison ship and make their way through to free any captured Mando'a. Simple enough and most intel suggested that the ship shouldn't be to heavily guarded. Worked for Vax, though he usually preferred a more measured approach, Medriass was still fresh in his mind. The loss of his family still stung and putting some fresh holes in a few Emps was bound to make him feel better.

His partner was a very eager member of Clan Ordo, though his clan didn't matter much to Vax. Clan Eldar had historically stayed out of inter-clan rivalries and squabbles. Seemed capable enough and he figured their styles would mesh well, as the other man wore a heavy Beskar'gam, while Vax liked to be a bit more mobile in his medium armor. Either way it was time for some action as the ship bucked slightly as it made contact with the prison ship. Odd that they sent no challenge, but Vax just assumed that way out here the Emps felt pretty safe.

His partner offered a brief word in Mando'a and Vax nodded back. "Kih'parjai. Rala mhi narir ibic.<No problem. Let's do this.>" As the air lock opened a pair of Imperials where of course there to greet them. Both troopers reeled back, a bit in shock. One aimed his blaster, while the other started to go for his comlink. Vax acted immediately, his knife seemed to just appear in his hand and he took the hand from the guard that went for the comlink. Both hand and comlink fell to the deck as Vax followed up with a quick tackle and slid his knife under the helmet and into the jugular of the trooper. He hoped his partner was just as quick and hopefully quite as he was. Stealth was key, well at least until they actually found where the prisoners where held.

5 years. 5 karking years he had been on this rotting tub of a ship. 5 years waiting for his freedom, today was the day of his deliverance whether he knew or not.

Today started like any other day for Tanx. 0600 wake up exercise in his cell, 0700 breakfast is served the usual gruel they served, 0800 more exercise in his cell, 0900 chores, 1100 back to the cell. what would happen over next the hour would change his life.

if Tanx learned anything from his time in the imperial army is that the imperial bureaucracy loved schedules and keeping to those schedules. in five years he spent on this ship he's come to learn the routine of this ship intimately, that's why he took notice when the supply ship arrived 15 minutes earlier than it should. standing up as he heard the hiss of docking clamps engaging. leaned againest the bars of his cell door trying to see further down the corridor as possible to understand what was going on.

Cuyan was almost disappointed in the guards for their off-guard approach. They were face to face instantly and one side was a little less prepared than the other. Vax took care of one while the Ordo kid naturally took on the other guard. The guard tried to swing his blaster to aim at them but he would be much too slow. Cuyan kicked the inside of his left knee while grabbing the blaster and tossing it off to one side. A helpless, unprepared guard fell to his knees with a groan as Cuyan drew his vibrosword. Blood spurted from the guard Vax had just killed and covered the other guard in a spray of it. The man looked up just in time to see the vibroblade coming down into his neck. His last image was his own scared reflection in the bloodied T-Visor of a Mandalorian.

"Oya!" He said to his partner as he stepped over the body to head deeper into the ship.

So far the pair had done okay to avoid attention. Noises were common on a prison ship as long as it wasn't a blaster shot. Not yet at least. Cuyan wiped some blood off his visor as he came to cover at a doorway. A quick peek inside revealed a few guards inside of what looked like a security control room. Monitors displayed individual cells and guards looked a bit bored as nothing seemed new or dangerous yet. Luck was on their side, no one had a camera on the docking bay at the moment. No alarm could be raised yet then.

Two fingers came up to get Vax's attention. He pointed inside to the left then at Vax. Then Cuyan pointed to himself and to the right. He raised his pair of Strill blaster pistols and gave a nod to the other Mandalorian. This is where things had to be fast and loud so they could release the prison doors, cause chaos, and bring their people home. Once they took this room it would just be a quick jog to the cell areas where everyone would suddenly be free. They could toss some weapons from the dead guards and make a big show of it.

"For Medriaas!" Cuyan said as he stepped into the room and fired two shots from each gun towards a single guard, suddenly putting the others into a panic.

Well no alarms sounded, so that was good. Though a bit more blood had gotten on his beskar'gam way earlier than he would've liked. He mentally shrugged as he stood and wiped his knife on his belt spat. He drew his pistol as he and Cuyan made their way toward the control room. These guards where really not impressing Vax. Figured that somebody would've at least had a view of the Dock and set an alarm. Eh, whatever, Vax would't look a gift fathier in the mouth.

He nodded to Cuyan as he gestured to him. 4 guards, easy pickings. Especially if you considered that the guards seemed to be sitting on their hands for all Vax could see. He drew his knife in his off hand and was right behind Cuyan as he breached the control room.

"Yeah suck it you Sith bastards!" Vax followed up the panic caused by his partner with a quick double tap to the guard furthest from them. Two sith troopers remained and they regained their composer and went for weapons of their own. Vax reacted as quickly as he could, and simply threw his vibroknife impaling the guard to his left in the chest. The mando then quickly put a shot into his head. He assumed Cuyan had once again dealt with the last guard and he went to the control panel. He had no idea how long they had after that Rukus.

"Yo...uh...right we never actually introduced ourselves. I'm Vax. Watch the doors and I'll get the cells open and find our people. Ah yep we've got incoming!" The door opposite the one the pair entered opened and a trio of Sith troopers stormed in. Vax took 3 random shots in their direction and winged one. He went back to the console working hard to find the right commands and trusted Cuyan to cover him.

Tanx smiled as heard the blaster fire from the down corridor. Today was the day, day for freedom, something had been waiting for so long. he hoped it was solus organising this rescue mission, if not he would owe whoever it was. but first, he wanted to create some noise.

He began banging his fist againest the metal bars, making a few clang sound ring out before he begun to chant "Rimaragr! Rimaragr! Rimaragr!" it started off quiet with just tanx but as other prisoner begun to understand what was happening them to joining in until all the prisoners where canting it at the top their lungs and could be heard throughout the ship.

A little overkill went a long way in intimidation. Cuyan had made a horrifying mess of the first guard to the right and the second was horrified at what he saw. The Mandalorian was impressed that the man managed to draw a weapon before cowering in fear. Mercy was not exactly on any Mandalorian's mind after the recent slaughters and years of oppression. While the guard begged for his life and offered to help in exchange for it, Cuyan did not listen. Defenseless and ashamed, the last guard in the control room lost his life via a single blast to the head. Cuyan thought of it as a waste and one who would never reach Manda if he were Mandalorian.

"Borarir iviin'yc!" He muttered to his companion as the door revealed more guards, much more eager to fight than the last set.

Cuyan slid to half cover behind a console while Vax's shots distracted the guards. Once the other Mandalorian got to work on opening the cells, he got to work with the cover fire. His pistols still had 19 shots between the two of them so there was plenty of room to be generous with how many he gave them in quick succession. The first guard, the one winged by Vax, took one too many to the chest and fell with a gasp. After that the other two ducked behind the door for cover, only taking minimal damage.

"Iviin'yc!" Cuyan shouted to Vax during the break in fire, he didn't want to die before getting the job done.

Both remaining guards started taking pot shots towards Cuyan's cover, making him duck back to avoid damage. He slammed the pistols into their holsters at his hips and swung the repeater to front. This job required a little extra noise to give Vax time. The full automatic fire unleashed two dozen bolts into the vicinity of the guards, killing both eventually thought it was hard to say who was hit first or how many times. A lull in the action meant a reload of all weapons and a ding meaning that all the cells were open. Now their brothers could fight as well.

"Tracy'uur!" Cuyan yelled into the cell area. "K'olar!"

Vax's hands moved as fast as they could over the console, the sound of flying blaster bolts not lost on the Mando. He had to scroll through several layers of sub systems before he got to the cell controls and then he had to make sure he wasn't about to free any actual scumbags. Oh yeah, guy that was here for a sextuple homicide and cannibalism probably didn't need to be free at the moment. A few blaster bolts whizzed past Vax's head but he kept his cool and during the small break in the fire fight he managed to find the cells that held the Manda'o on board. He opened the cells in the block, which luckily happened to be right down the hall.

He looked up see the mess that had been at the door and nodded over to Cuyan. "Adramte borarir<Good work>. All our Mando'a should be free." He looked down the hall and saw several of the prisoners already headed their way. He pulled the blaster from a dead emps hands and threw it to the first Mandalorian through the door, the shouts of freedom only grew louder then.

"Welcome to the party vod<brother/sister>. Cover the others, the ships down the hall! Rimaragr!" As he finished, shouts could heard further down the hall. Another squad of Imperials were headed up the corridor. Vax swung his rifle from his back and took aim down his scope as he used the door frame for cover. He fired once and was met with the sound of a dying Imperial.

He assumed Cuyan would take whatever he felt best at this point. All that mattered now was to get as many prisoners off the ship as possible, preferably with no new holes in them.
