Appearance: Quatto is a dark-skinned human male of average shape a stature. He has a slender face, wide forehead, and a strong pointed chin with long dreaded hair that reaches past his eyes and sometimes obscures his vision. His eyes are a lifeless dull brown spaced evenly apart reflecting years of constant drug use sitting below tear troughs which makes him look a lot older than he is, giving off the appearance as a lowly junky. His nose is flat, long, and bumpy from many years of fist fights and petty brawls. His mouth is small and narrow giving the impression he is very secretive and reserved. Quatto is far from corn fed and and had to fight to survive most of his life. He has cuts and scrapes all over his body and presents a generally rugged appearance. His style is that of a regular gangster attire. He wears long jackets with lots of secret compartments to hide illegal contraband such as pistols, explosives, and security spikes. His carefree attitude lends him to slouch a lot. When he's in a room full of people he keeps to the sides, never being the center of attention normally leaning on a wall or observing the scenery rather than interacting with others.
Attributes: Quatto started off as a petty thief stealing to survive and stealing just because he liked having money in his bank account. He became a competent thief taking what he wanted when he wanted until justice caught up with him. Soon he learned that if he wanted to survive he would need to become smarter. For protection he joined a small gang where he had to fight alongside a crew where he learned the ins and outs of the underground drug and human trafficking trade. Sooner or later his operation got too big and attracted the attention of larger gangs looking to expand. He used his skills as a thief to go undercover and spy on rival gangs. His side was losing the turf war so he resorted to assassinating rival crime bosses and sturing unrest between the cities gangs, pinning them against each other. Even though he had not received a formal education the streets were a great teacher using his knowledge of demolitions and slicing to sow chaos between both law enforcement and crime bosses. Soon an a lot gang war erupted in the lower cities thanks to him. While everything turned to chaos he could resume his gang operations in peace before the Jedi Knights arrived.
As a Jedi he combines his skills as an assassin with that of a Jedi Consular. His force abilities are subtle and hard to notice, they're more useful for avoiding situations rather than confronting them. He can affect minds, disable droids, fake his death, etc.. He was trained in the art of diplomacy but some men cannot be reasoned with so he instead chose to continue his training as a sentinel.
Personality: Quatto is very quite in reserved due to his ugly past. He stole and killed for money and because of this many in the Jedi Order do not trust him. The taint of the Dark side was well within him well before his Jedi training. As such he rarely interacts with other Jedi finding them superstitious and self-righteous. He much prefers to work alone on his missions as he does not trust other Jedi to understand the importance of secrecy. He thinks that deceit and manipulation are valuable tools that can save lives, Quatto feels as if the ends justify the means always. Due to this he can be very standoffish and distant, Quatto has very little friends and even less enemies. The Council knows they need Jedi with his skill set, but that doesn't stop other Jedi from mistrusting him.
Training to be a Jedi Shadow, Quatto has eyes and ears everywhere and has dirt on everyone. He rarely aligns himself with the Jedi instead forming alliances with many of the Jedi's enemies across the galaxy such as slavers, warmongers, and corrupt politicians. His name holds some infamy due to the fact that no one outside of the Jedi order knows he's a Jedi.
After his time in a gang, he's tired of violence he saw many innocents lose their lives due to his own actions and rash decision making. As such he avoids fighting and dislikes brutish individuals. His Jedi training taught him that it takes a calculated mind and patience to solve issues non-violently. Also his drug use left his senses slowed giving him an immediate disadvantage in fights. Quatto uses stealth and tech to give him a much needed edge in battles if he decides that the fight is worth it in the first place. Quatto has a tremendous fear of death, he feels that he has not fully atoned for his crimes and dying before he does will afford him an eternity in hell.
