Magnificent Me

The Darren Reed Chronicles, Part I

Written by self-acclaimed best-selling author Darren Harquin Maximilian Romulus Reed, Magnificent Me is an auto-biography, which details the life and lies of smuggler and gambler, Darren Reed. Described by some literary critics as a 'fantastic work of fiction' and others (mostly from the Hutt Sector) as 'the best book ever written', the novel is filled with vastly exaggerated retellings of chapters of the mans life.

It holds an award for the most heavily sued book in recent history, and has been banned on three planets.

With a foreword written by Allard Keever, this segment of the book talks about a great bond shared between all rogues on the spacelanes. It contains no less than ten seperate animated images of Darren, talking about himself at various casinos. The remainder of the book covers how Darren 'once defeated the Empress herself in single combat', and plays down the infamous fight between him and The Wook - Darren directly stating that he 'allowed the Wook to win'.

The book brags that Darren has won multiple gabling tournaments (several of which do not exist), and contains several mentions of great fights against beasts and monsters, which most likely have never happened. All in all, much of the book is fake, however a huge number of copies continue to be sold, and the book is somehow a bestseller in the Hutt Sectors, even being considered for a biopic.

Alongside this, the book is only part one, meaning that more of the literary genius is on the way.

Intent - To add to Darrens flare, because writing a book bragging about stuff, seems like something he would do. This will also enable him to go around the Galaxy, making fantastic book signings, and readings in threads, because that is something the site needs.
