DESCRIPTION
The Bilari electro-chain whip remains in the shape of a long rapier-like weapon until snapped by its user into a whip-like weapon. In its rapier form, the user is able to inflict painful, nonlethal damage to the enemy from a blow with the side of weapon, as if hitting someone with a rod of metal. However, the point remains very sharp and can impale an opponent. In its whip form, an electro-plasma current runs through it. An electro-plasma filament is threaded through the whip’s articulated segments, packing enough power to kill an opponent. It can be wound around an opponent like a chain to hold him or her still, or can strike someone like a traditional whip, and is resistant to lightsaber strikes. It can also be used to ensnare an opponent's weapon.

On the other hand, the whip form of the weapon is extremely difficult to use and requires extensive training to use effectively. Furthermore, one can easily fatigue while swinging around a five kilogram weapon. The attention needed to fight with a chain whip ensures that one cannot employ the use of the whip and another weapon simultaneously.

LEGALITY
Legal.

INTENT
To create a short range whip-like weapon with various uses in melee combat; also to create a reliable lighstaber resistant weapon.

I'd like a bit of work on the grammar of the description, as well as a lot more detail, and potentially some drawbacks. I imagine this would be a very difficult weapon to wield.

Don't feel too singled out; it's a criticism I hand out a lot. I've also seen much worse.

Approved.
