I think I'd be more excited if this wasn't another Batman project. I really wish we got more projects from DC animation. And not just stuff around the Trinity or Justice League. Figures like Doctor Fate, the Question or even the New Gods. It's stretching, I know, but I just can't really get excited for Batman stuff anymore. It's like getting lobster every week, the magic just fades and it doesn't feel as special anymore.

It's because Batman is the most popular, I believe.

It's because it's batman

Edit: anyways I'm fine with Hamill voicing the Joker.

If Conroy gets on board this will be fantastic. He'll always and forever be the iconic voice of Batman for me.

Hamill alone is enough for me to watch it, but this cake definitely needs that Conroy icing.

This is quite possibly the one thing of DC I am looking forward too more then anything.

Glad to see Conroy and Hamill back (and Strong as Babs is also nice), but I am a little sad they're going hard R. Faithful to the work, yes; but I was never a fan of how far the Killing Joke went to begin with (on top of thinking Alan Moore is over hyped). So I was hoping when they took it to animation they'd adapt some of it out.

Still, looks like it's a good DC animated work coming out in a time when DC animated has been bad to middling (with the exception of Gods and Monsters) in the past few years. So I will try to keep optimistic in my watching.

More excited for Justice League Action though which also sees Conroy and Hamill voicing their respective classic characters and the return of a lot of other DCAU all stars.

I imagine it might be rated "R" for the same reason "Arkham Knight" was rated "M". Most likely not too noticeable. To me, it wasn't anyways. But more Conroy and Hamill doing Batman and Joker is always a thing to look forward too.

How was Gods and Monsters? I think I have a voucher to download it.

I'd go into some of the things that happened in the comic that attributes to the R, but I would consider that spoilers. So instead I will just say some fucked up shit happens to the Gordon's.

Per Gods and Monsters, I really liked it. A really nice alternate reality story following a different Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

I've read "The Killing Joke". I know fully what happens.

So I guess I might use that voucher then, since it won't be costing me anything.

You guys just don't even know.

I am so obsessed with the Joker and Hamil is by far the best Joker ever. Which everyone always wants to argue about with me because he only voices him. I dun care, he's still the best. :D

For voice overs, without a doubt.

Live Action, Michael Keaton is my favorite while my favorite Bat Suit is The Nolanverse Suit. Can't decide which Joker I like since all three(Not counting Jared Leto's yet) are all so diverse and unique.

But to me, in the end, Kevin Conroy is Batman just as Mark Hamill is The Joker.

Same. Not to mention they've probably done the roles longer than anyone else who have portrayed the characters. It helps that in voice work you of course can continue on as long as you are able to speak as opposed to the changing of appearance a live action actor contends with as time goes on, but that time has also been spent with Conroy and Hamill just getting the best writers and show runners for their times playing the roles. So not only have they been the best actors, but they've been involved in the best stories.

I feel like the animated movies, are the only ones DC makes that are of any quality. It's too bad the scope of their animated movies is so limited.
