Killeth stood outside eagerly awaiting orders from a superior officer. The ground was all muddy and wet. The grey clouds covered the sun and casted a shadow over the entire area. Killeth could tell it was going to be a long tiresome day.

Hetat approached the area in is flight armor, his pistol strapped to his side. He was easily able to spot the trainee and walked to his side.

"So what'cha here for?"

To fight and serve for the Republic, Sir. Killeth took a glance at the man who asked him. He seemed strange to Killeth, but he ignored that and standed straight and tall.

"Any idea who or what you might fight in your tenure young man?" Hetat was interested in this kid. He was gonna train this boy all the skills he needed, but some of the more important things Killeth would learn is from himself. "I have ideas. Besides, do you know who I am?"

"I'm the lucky person who gets to train you. You will follow my commands and those of your superior officers unless you know that you will absolutely, positively, no doubt about it die. Do you understand me?" Hetat didn't give Killeth a chance to reply. "Follow me Officer Cadet."

Sir, yes sir! As killeth followed behind hetat he eased up the tension in his muscles from being nervious. He met this man 2 minutes ago and he is already talking about death. Death is the one and only thing he hates about the military.

Hetat didn't know how this kid would take the training he was going to recieve.

"We're going to a seedy cantina a little ways away from here. Queit, secluded, perfect spot for you to learn some leadership qualities. By the way you might wanna change into some civvy clothes." Hetat went into the Officer lockers and changed into his civvies. He was in some normal looking black pants a leather jacket and a pistol strapped to his side. Hetat stood there waiting for Killeth.

Killeth found it odd he was getting trained out of uniform. It was absolutely unexpected and it seemed a little unprofessional. Hetat must know what he is doing if he was promoted. Killeth put on his brown pants and shirt. He also threw on a blue sweatshirt and blue hat.

"So kid, don't act like I am a higher rank or you will give out information someone might act upon, and not a good act either." Hetat called a cab and when it got there he and Killeth got inside.

"Where to?" The driver asked. Hetat smiled.

"The best place to get into a little fight." Hetat knew what he was doing but was going to ask Killeth something now. "What do you think of what I'm doing?" Hetat was suddenly very serious, none of the earlier happiness was in his voice.

It seems a little unprofessional to me. I know it is not place to say how you do your job, but it is nothig like my fathers training when he told me about it. Killeth stared at Hetat wondering how he will respond to his answer. Killeth was only being honest, something that has got him in trouble one to many times before.

"Hmm, nice to know that you are honest. You see, I'm not like the other Republic officers because I actually worked for most of the things I have. The life I had, if you didn't work you died. The Officers of today don't always get to where they are by working, mostly by being sons or daughters of some big wig who wanst something to be proud of." Hetat sighed. "Nothing like the old days." The cabbie nodded and Hetat gave him the money. The two got out and Hetat nodded at the casino they were at.

"So, what do you think you can learn here?"

"How to survive attacks from the big wig you owe money too?" Killeth had really no idea what he could learn at a casino that would help him on the front lines. Killeth walked through the doors and turned back at Hetat.
So what are you going to teach me here?

Hetat chuckled a little. "Funny but no." Then he looked Killeth in the eye. "To always respect those in charge." Hetat eyed one of the guards. "Seem him? He looks like the head guard man. Insult him and your outta here." Hetat then pointed in another direction. "Him? He's probably the best carddealer in this joint. No one disses him or they are out."

"The moral is, don't jack around with the men in charge or your outta here. I like honesty but when you doubt the lessons they teach you becauce it's not how you usually learn you are outta here. Do you understand me." Hetat was completely serious, even to the point of murdering the next person who insulted him.

"Good. Now care for a drink? It's always easier to train someone when you know who they are as a person." Hetat dragged Killeth over to the bar. "A couple shots for me and the kid."

Killeth chuged the shots in hope they would lighten himself up from the odd feeling he has from the untraditional training. He wasnt much of a drinker. He only had a few here and there. He wasn't excpecting drinking would be part of training.
Those taste pretty good, i was expecting something extremly bitter.

"I can arrange that." Hetat moved his hands and the bartender brought out two glasses filled with what looked like orange juice. "Go ahead sip it." Hetat then chugged down the shot like nothing. "So, tell me about your father."

Well everybody I talked to said I am just like him. He was a soldier in the Republic as well. He told me quite a few stories about his fighting, nothing you wouldnt be interested in. He has always pushed me to be a large supporter and soldier for the Republic. It was so hard to have a conversation with out him talking about the Republic and how great it was. He greatly loved being a soldier, and i hope i will aswell. Killeth took a sip of the newly placed drink before him. These were definetly more bitter and gross tasting. The drink didnt go down as smoothly as the other drink, that was shown by the expression on his face.

"See I told you it could be arranged, bartender back to the regular drink." Hetat looked back at Killeth. "so tell me more of this father of yours. Was he a angry person? Was he rash or did he make good calls? Describe him as a person and not a father."
