Full focus mode activated. Hailee hated fighting in confined spaces like this, because while they meant that you had almost no space to move around freely, there was also a lot going on within a tight radius, so that potentially each and every enemy could attempt to strike the next.

She concentrated hard in order to stay aware of everything that was going on around her as she had spun the space viking (@Xorism) around, and with the combined strength of her allies, he was taken out in front of her very eyes, so that a melee engagement wasn't even necessary anymore.

Her emerald eyes immediately flicked up towards the next target, which was now this human male (@Sicadorito) in front of her, who was apparently still audacious enough to try shooting the other Jedi (@Tom). It was a good thing that not a single thug aimed for her and so her focus was unbroken as she wrapped invisible tendrils around the scoundrel (@Sicadorito).

With one quick twist she spun him around, too, not only attempting to break his line of sight and to avoid that his shots would even fly in Laeonas' direction, but also to prevent him from shooting again. A slightly mischievous smirk crossed her lips at his comment, because if he assumed they were Sith, no one would ever suspect she had taken part in that, which was probably for the best. Also, it was simply hilarious and only proved that this human's knowledge of the Force was apparently quite limited.

Having hopefully wrapped in tightly in her invisible grasp, she yanked him forward and in her direction, not only wanting to pull him out from his cover, but also to make it easier for her allies to take him out. The Duros in the back, meanwhile, apparently considered yielding, but Hailee wouldn't risk being backstabbed. First, all of them had to sleep. Especially Hauron (@Darasuum) should have had a clear shot now anyway, but just to be safe, she did not lower her guard and kept her lightsaber diagonally in front of her body.

"You better listen to your friend. He seems clever", she snarled into the direction of Crux (@Sicadorito), referring to the 'offer' of the Duros in the back (@Die Shize), also not leaving him out of her eyes, but he seemed to have ducked away again. Hiding behind a wall like a damn coward...or maybe a clever coward indeed as the odds were completely against them. The faster they had been dealt with though, the faster they could have started finishing their actual mission.

As he lay as motionless as possible in his cage, Elkras couldn't help but wonder how his life might've turned out if he'd thought to pursue a career in holomovies- he was definitely handsome enough, and apparently he was talented enough to fool a Sith or two. The thought was almost enough to make him giggle.

Almost.

Quiet on the set he reminded himself, swallowing his laughter.

Laeo's entire fighting style was based around hyper aggressive, close quarters attacks, mostly relying on mobility to avoid enemy attacks, rather than an actual defensive strategy. It was an effective style when employed in single combat against saber wielding, force using opponents, overwhelming them with consistent and unrelenting force until they finally broke. It was, however, not as effective against multiple, blaster wielding opponents. Such was the flaw of Ataru, and his reliance on it in this fight would be his downfall.

Crux's shots failed to hit him, and so did Jon's, but the one he'd hardly considered in his tunnel visioned effort to bring one of the mercenaries down was his downfall. Perhaps if he'd changed his angle just a bit, perhaps if he'd been more mindful, the shots would've passed harmlessly around or between his legs.

Instead, as Laeonas prepared to lunge forward, sword in hand, he would spasm and collapse as one of the stun bolts hit him in the behind while the other smashed into the spot behind his right knee. "Motherfu-" He managed to breathe before the nerves to his vocal cords shut down and he slammed into the floor, and with it, into unconsciousness.

He'd be wearing that viking fuck's balls when he woke up.

A total of five shots from Hauron's sonic rifle were needed to finally put Sigtryggr's lights out. The front and side of the warrior was riddled with divots and damage from the series of hard sound that had been hurled at high velocity only to disperse and tear through the protective armor. The tissue underneath would take a beating, ruptured blood vessels and bruised skin would be the least of the unconscious Deucalian's worries provided he was not left without medical attention for too long.

With the same expert marksmanship that had placed round after round on the Deucalian, Hauron's shots towards the Duros in cover managed to shoot both of the weapons out of his hands. (@Die Shize ) The blackhand blaster pistol and the pulse wave pistol were both struck from the blue grips of the scoundrel, damaging them to the point that they wouldn't work without some significant repair. But at least the man had not suffered any injury greater than a sore wrist. However he was now with two less weapons though, though thankfully he did not seem to have further intentions to fight.

Hauron heard one of the conscious scoundrels that remained call Laeonas, or perhaps they meant Hailee, a Sith. The Mandalorian was wondering if Hailee's use of the red lightsaber would have unexpected benefits. Maybe the Five Syndicates would think that the 'loyalist Mandalorian's' under Nox Solus were here to break out Kotii early or the Sith were trying to steal Kotii away for themselves. Perhaps others thought it was that unlikely for people to want to free his Buir from his confinement. In the end it would add to the confusion in the wake of these events for any witnesses. The Syndicate survivors would have a story to tell and for their bosses to try and unravel.

The Solus had meant what he said earlier. If the others laid down their weapons they would be left alive. The YV-865 aurore light freighter had a cockpit escape pod for ten people. The cargo hold would depressurize once the Jedi and Mandalorians escaped so that meant the scoundrels would be best served to try and flee back to the 2nd deck of the ship unless they wanted to be sucked out into space or be stuck in the bathroom for who knows how many hours until the ship entered a breathable atmosphere. Out of everyone, only Hauron seemed to have the equipment for extravehicular activity.

Hailee knew what she was doing and the two of them had been working well in concert together. The Jedi would give him an opening just like before but this time with the most defiant scoundrel remaining. Crux had been engaged in Leaonas closely up until then and so had Romeo. But now both of them had pulled the aggression of the ship's defenders which led to them receiving some stun bolts and neither of them looked immediately capable of recovering. So that left Hauron and Hailee to carry the team through, possibly in a literal sense.

Crux was wearing some type of bounty hunting armor that would have a decent time weathering the sonic rifles attacks so Hauron continued to move counter clockwise around from behind his Jedi counter part until he had a clear shot on the scoundrel. The Mandalorian would probably be close to standing over Sigtryggr's unconscious body at that point and be in front of the prison cells which held the stranger in one and his father in the other. The Solus would fire three shots at Crux while he was being pulled off balance by the Jedi, hoping to make the most of the opportunity. (@Sicadorito )

"We're just here for Kotii Solus." He added on to Hailee's statement. Hopefully that reassured the transport defense guards to a degree.

Autohit against Jon since he did not reference the previous two sonic shots mentioned against him. Since he's not attacking I didn't want to be lame and figured shooting his two blasters out of his hands made the most sense.

The air smelled like the back of his arm hair after being rubbed by a balloon. The feeling akin to static electricity made Kotii's hairs literally stand on end. He was not sure if it was a side affect of the sedatives pumping through his veins or being in a ray shielded prison cell. The faint smell of ozone drifted through the energized red-tinted force field that separated him from the rest of the cargo hold, putting everything on the far side of the activated doorway in a red tint.

At first the sound of commotion was difficult to notice through the lethargy inducing affects of the drugs did not help. The man had thought he heard familiar voices but part of him wondered if it was just a passing hallucination. Those had been coming and going for the days since his capture and magnified the inner turmoil of the ex Solus'alor.

People were yelling, guards moving to take up defensive positions. Kotii's stun cuffs pulled at his wrists as they became taught, then everything errupted into chaos. A recognizable sphere clinked into view and Kotii's crimson eyes had just enough time to register what the device was right before it erupted in a plasma explosion.

The scene descended into a fire fight and the badger had flash backs to when he boarded a lictor class dungeon ship from the outside, only this time he was already inside the ship being breached. The man found himself retreating slightly to the back of his prison cell, giving his chains some slack for the moment. But his body remained within view of the front of the ship as he tried to see who was coming.

The roar of a jetpack, the hum of a lightsaber, the sound of a blackhand blaster pistol and other weapons being discharged bounced off the cold hard walls of the cargo hold. Kotii's pale expression widened as his focus centered on a red energy blade held by a woman he did not recognize.

They had come for him. They were here to take him into the shadows and attack his mind and soul until there was nothing left. A subconscious growl rose in the back of his throat. He was not lucid enough to make out the dark form of his own son coming into view behind her or the evasive form of Romeo before he was stunned. The man knew his brain was not working at full capacity and he could only process so much.

Mumbled words came to Kotii's lips as his face contorted into an expression of defiance and hate. <"Come on then! Come get me you dark bastards!"> A dark clad Mandalorian, allied with a Sith, he was probably a loyalist of Nox. Kotii had nothing to fight with and if his 'rescuers' took out the Five Syndicate members, then he would not be in any better of a position than he already was. He did not hear Hauron's voice clearly over the din of battle or through his drugged state. His own son had grown some since he had last seen him and the nature of this reunion was unfathomable for the Mandalorian. Kotii had no idea they were here to rescue him. In fact, ideally, he hoped they were just here to kill him but he doubted it since they had chosen to board the ship rather than just blow it up.

Before he had time to thank Siggy for stunning the Sith with the sword, he felt an invisible force suddenly spin him and yank him toward the boarders as yet another Mandalorian fired at him.

“Kriff!” He might not have had control over most of his body, but he was still able to twist around to try and avoid the shots as the Sith woman continued to pull him closer. Two bolts would fly harmlessly by his arm, but one would pierce through the top of his pauldron and burn some of the flesh beneath.

It hurt like hell, and to rub salt in the wound, the Duros wanted to give up! Siggy was nowhere to be found. Was he the only one left, against a Sith and a Mandalorian? He didn’t like those odds, and the prisoner was absolutely not worth his life as he found himself at the mercy of the pair in front of him. So he made his decision, and it was a little easier than he would have liked to admit.

“Take him, then! Solus isn’t worth this trouble,” he spat, his other hand clutching his injured shoulder.

Words are hard.
Can break apart.
Can break hearts.
Can heal wounds.
Like music’s tune.

Combatants on a ship.
They have wounds too.
One of them’s a Duros.
Stinging wrist Dromon.

Twin guns depart his fists.
Cling-clang on bathroom.
Still—those guns are his!
Blackhand blaster’s kiss!
Pulse pistol’s in business.
Will still need repair kits.

"You better listen to your friend. He seems clever."
"We're just here for Kotii Solus."
"Come on then! Come get me you dark bastards!"
“Take him, then! Solus isn’t worth this trouble.”

“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
“...”
????????

“All right then, bubble head.”
Talking to that Mandalorian.
But Jon’s not insulting him.
If so, will just end up dead.
“Coming out. It’s the end.”

A bounty hunter is so cold.
Fairly fearless—composed.
Has heart but is…heartless.
And so too might be his foes.
A risk one has to take though.

“My blasters are in holsters...”
Didn’t work—didn’t say so.
His hands were up, amigos.
Of course, no friends here.
Not even Crux, thin beard.

Jon Dromon is his call.
Steps into a kind of hall.
His team dropped a ball.
Might yet still live and all.

“No hard feelings…eh..?”
Jon looks his ‘n’ her way.
A slow tuneless whistle.
Blows like wind’s thistle.
His way of keeping cool.
A bounty hunter’s soul...
Air ‘tween lips—ice cold.

Jon stands with his arms raised.
Not much care for teammates.
They may as well...all escape...
Looks ‘tween this ‘n’ that face.

A Jedi, a Jedi—but maybe Sith.
Mando and Mando—helmets.
And idiot prisoner in the ship.
Mandalorian? A Deucalian...
Should probably take with...

"Got no beef with any of you.”

That Duros' lips are so...blue.
Orange eyes—like firelight.
Looks down, up—climb…
Feasting on the scenery.

“Jedi, Sith—the Badger…”

Shoulders up in a shrug.
Holstered are blasters.

A Duros is a bounty hunter.
Plays his cards to get a job.
Or not—but he can wonder.
The other team can sure fight.
Can they pay? I might yet try...

“It’s all business—not personal.”

He figured for some it was both.
“On that note…if you got a job…”
A bounty hunter must be versatile.

“Well then my name is…Jon Dromon...”
Today, tomorrow—could come along.
He’s worked for Hutts and then Pykes.
But…never worked for Kotii Solus’ side.

The Mandalorian looked ready to follow through with more shots towards any of the Syndicate scoundrels but his trigger finger stopped short of pulling the trigger of his sonic rifle further. His last flurry of rounds had mostly missed but one had managed to wing his target enough to make him reconsider fighting further. The situation was unfolding rapidly and man in bounty hunter armor was making a wise call to improve his chances of survival.

A few tense heartbeats gave way to the awkward silence, filled only with the settling smoke and bodies from the chaotic fire fight. Crux was clutching his wounded shoulder with his other hand and even though Hauron could not see his face, he could tell by the body language and tone that he was more or less surrendering to the rescue party. <"Wise decision."> He replied to Crux's words in Huttese before backing up a little closer to the cell his buir was inside. He kept his main body facing the still conscious enemies to let them know he was still taking the precaution of keeping them in view in case they tried anything funny. (@Sicadorito )

The Duro who was out of pistols, announced him coming out of cover a moment later. His blasters that weren't shot to the deck were indeed in holsters or slung. Neither of them seemed dumb enough to try tricking Hailee and him further and if they did, the odds did not seem to be in their favor.

Quickly, Hauron tried to process which step was the next best one to take. He turned his helmet to the side to look over his shoulder at the beaten and bound prisoner he was here to liberate. <"Buir. We're here to get you out. Do you think you can move?"> He gave a pause as he looked at the state Kotii was in. Scars and bruises were just the tip of the iceberg it would seem. But Hauron did not get angry at his guards for his treatment.

There was a second prisoner in the knocked over cage-like cell beside Kotii's. "What's your name? Do you feel like staying here?" He asked somewhat hurridly. Imprisonment by the Hutts was not always unjust, but Hauron was fine spiting them by freeing an unplanned prisoner from their possession. (@SlagathorTheUnknown )

Depending on how the man answered he would get a new chance at freedom. The Mikkian Mandalorian would speak towards his jedi counterpart next. "Hey. Do you think you could make short work of the cells and get them both out of there?" His rifle would remain pointing in the general direction of Crux and Jon so that he could cover her while she cut through the barriers with her lightsaber. It was faster than him trying to slice into the computer system and do it that way or knocking each of the guards out and searching their pockets for the key, if they even had one. (@LadyRen )

Jon Dromon introduced himself after a few moments while they were working on freeing the prisoners. He sounded like he was trying to jump ship and switch sides. Or maybe he was just trying to take advantage of the situation and come out with the best deal. It was typical Syndicate behavior and not necessarily a bad characteristic but the timing was not the best.

"Your current employer and I don't see eye to eye. I doubt you could deliver on what jobs I need done." He spoke directly but did not outright dismiss Jon's query for work. There was a chance this could gain them an 'inside man' to Hutt activity. But more than likely Jon might just turn on Hauron or any of the Mandalorians in the future just to get by. "Want my free advice? After we leave, take your buddies..." He gestured to the unconcious Duecalian at his feet. "...and get to a pressurized part of the ship so you don't get sucked out into space and never work for a sorry scug hole like the Hutts again. You manage to do that and maybe we'll be in touch, Jon." Saying 'keep your nose clean' sounded like it would be in bad taste when said to a Duro. "For me...this IS personal." His voice became more intense as he stared into the blue skinned bounty hunter. This was not business, not this time. But he was not holding a grudge when it came to the small fry. The people that Hauron hated were the ones that were the big decision makers.

Eventually Hauron wanted to collect Kotii, the strange prisoner, Laeonas and Romeo so they could be transferred back to their YV-865 light freighter which was still attached to the prison transport. He intended to give the 5 Syndicate scoundrels a minute after they left to be safely in one of the pressurized compartments in the ship. He did not intend to execute or let them die after all this. Hauron felt he had a sense of honor and integrity that rose him above the more common thugs in the galaxy. There was no point in ruthlessly killing directly or indirectly the men and women in charge of guarding his father. The Solus did not go back on his word and he had said if they dropped their weapons they would be spared after all.

Hailee's eyes were still narrowed and the blonde remained both, overly attentive and tense. She was not letting any of them out of her side, even though one was already unconscious (@Xorism). She remained were she was for a few seconds, still poised to attack if necessary, but it seem like the cowards finally gave up (@Die Shize, @Sicadorito). Well, it was the smarter choice, but she couldn't help but to smirk a little.

The tense atmosphere slowly relaxed as a few words were exchanged. She allowed herself to glance around for a few moments, realizing that apart from the other Jedi (@Tom), this one Mandalorian that had already and randomly been inside the ship (@Faded) was also still rather motionless in the back, but it looked like he was close to being able to move again soon after all. Carrying too many wounded companions would be exhausting and it would potentially leave them vulnerable, so they had to hurry before reinforcements could arrive.

She immediately nodded as Hauron (@Darasuum) adressed her, keeping her lightsaber activated as she made her way over to the cells. She realized that there was not just one, but another apparent criminal (@SlagathorTheUnknown) locked away and she wondered what he was doing here and why the hell he wasn't moving, but she started cutting through the lock without any hesitation. Hauron had mentioned both, so why not? If they were both Hutt prisoners, they would both be of help.

Hailee tried to ignore the prisoners conditions as it only made a shiver ran down her spine. She despised the Hutts severely and so she still wanted those other thugs knocked out, but then again she remembered that she was doing something rather illegal herself and so she just tried to finish the job as fast as possible without deviating from the set course and mission objectives. "Can you two walk?" she asked, addressing the two of them (@Elkras Arrieta, @Kotii Solus) while crimson sparks danced around her lithe frame. She was still on edge as she tried to hurry, but soon the lock melted away as intended. She did also hear what Hauron said to the remaining thugs and even this made her realize that she was standing on the right side here. He had absolutely no obligation to warn them, and yet he chose to do the most human thing. "Wakey wakey, Mando. We've got to run " she called over to @Romeo Solus, who already stirred as she moved over to the second cell, where the blonde prisoner was still locked in.

The sounds of fighting gradually diminished, until the audience felt comfortable interacting with the performers. The act was up. End scene.

"I'm Elkras!" he piped up, hoping that by no longer being just an anonymous stranger it'd be more difficult for them to kill him- although the lady with the lightsaber probably didn't care one way or another. "Please don't kill me!" (@Darasuum

To the smuggler's surprise, the lightsaber was not used to run him through; rather, the Sith cut him free. Elkras glanced around for the hidden camera, but there was none. "Thank you, and I can walk" he said to the Sith, exiting the cage, before moving back in the direction that the rescuers had entered from. (@LadyRen)

"Can I help carry him?" he jerked a finger towards the unconscious Laeo. Maybe by making himself helpful he could earn some favor from the new people who decided whether he lived or died. (@Tom)

Hauron kept an eye on the scoundrels but they did not try anything. His helmet frequently turned to look at his adoptive father while guarding him. Hailee made short work of the prisoners' bonds at least. Elkras made himself useful and began lifting and moving Laeonas to safety.

The young Mikkian warrior nodded since Elkras seemed to have posed it as a question. After Kotii was free, Hauron kept his right hand on his sonic rifle as best as he could and hefted it with one hand. It was not ideal but better than letting down his guard and getting jumped. His left side was used to support the leaning body of his drugged father. With Elkras assisting Laeonas, and Hailee seeing to Romeo, Hauron would help Kotii stagger towards the friendly starship.

Just before he crossed over the threshold of the lightsaber carved hull, he shouted over his shoulder so the Five Syndicate members could hear. Hopefully they had remembered to collect their own friends. "One minute!" It was quite generous. A lot could be done in 60 seconds.

No further violence or acts of aggression were carried out by either group. The saviors of Kotii Solus and the Elkras stranger, guarded themselves as they made their way back to their ship. The aformentioned minute would pass as Hauron made sure his Buir was secured and stable before heading up to the cockpit and join the Mandalorians that had been guarding the friendly YV-865 freighter.

"We got him, vod. Let's get the hell out of here." He said to Aden. The fellow Mandalorian nodded and the ship broke the seal with the enemy vessel of the same make and model. From the cockpit, Hauron curiously watched to see if the scoundrels had listened to his warning. The ship was still dark, having been hit by a barrage of ion cannon fire but eventually it would be in working order. Otherwise they could use the escape pod and get to some nearby civilization. But even then, maybe they were more worried about having to face their boss. Hauron was glad he did not have to be there for that employee review. Instead, he was looking forward to some rest and relaxation. His buir was safe and back with his family.
