Boz Pity Space
After the events of this thread

The interior of the YV-865 Aurore class freighter was sparse except for the minimal cargo its crew utilized. Some crates and boxes were unsecured and used as makeshift furniture for the armed scoundrels that kept watch over the organic cargo. Four small prisoner cells lined the port bulkhead. Today the vessel that formerly ferried slaves to and from Hutt space was transporting only a few bound persons though it was capable of carrying many more. The ship had been ordered to deliver Kotii Solus expediently to Mandalorian space as part of a deal with the Mand'alor, Nox Solus.

They had dropped out of hyperspace just a short time ago and it would only be a brief period of time as the vessel transited the system before having a desireably heading to jump to hyperspace. Traveling along the normal routes was not advisable for a multitude of reasons. But the round about way would still get Kotii to Mandalore. The villainous crew of the freighter had done this sort of thing before. Kotii hoped they were overconfident but it was not likely that would do him any good in his current state. Still, he fantasized about kicking all their assess if he got the chance. That much kept him company as he was brought ever closer towards his home space.

Kotii had long been stripped of his armor and weapons. He did not want to think about what kind of sacrilige the Hutts were performing with its remains. The echani-offshoot had been given beatings in its place to add onto the previous injuries incurred from his attempt on Nor'baal's life. Some time had passed and allowed some healing to occur but for the brief periods where the badger was lucid, the pain reminded him he was alive. Now he was chained inside the cargo hold with a slave collar around his neck and stun cuffs around his wrists. The Hutts had either been unaware, or they did not care about the prosthetic left arm of the Black Hand which had served to make the stun cuffs useful.

Time had passed in a warped manner from the Mandalorian's perspective. In addition to his bonds, the Solus was heavily sedated and only barely managed to remain conscious at times. A FX series medical assistant had made sure to administer any further sedatives on a periodic basis and keep the hardy warrior from lapsing into a medical emergency. It had even seen to some of his other wounds before being ordered to stop by one of the guards.

Aside from the automaton, Kotii was not very aware of what was going on around him. He was able to guess they were at least no longer on Nal Hutta. The Mandalorian was capable of recognizing a jump to hyperspace and dropping out of light speed. It probably would not be long before they were back in Mandalorian space if that were the case. But nothing changed about his feelings or thoughts since he had watched through heavily lidded eyes the deal that could undo his people.

Even in chains, the Mandalorian tried to focus on the details. He tried to keep his mind sharp and not succumb to the sedatives or doubts which were equally dangerous. He knew that a quick death might be what awaited him on Mandalore. There was the chance he would be dragged before a Sith and tortured with their dark magics. Every thought sparked anger in the man's crimson eyes as his mind was reduced to the basics of survival. His thoughts could betray him, his feelings could lead to the loss of more Mandalorian lives and further suffering. Not just his own, but those he cared about, those he loved.

In his weakened state it was little more than a soft clink as his collar and stun cuffs were taught against the bulkhead he was chained to. A low growl rose in his throat as he instinctually warned a guard that took a few paces to stretch his legs within view. They silently brandished a stun baton, striking it against the ray shield of the cell making a bzzt sound. They had orders to make sure that Kotii arrived well enough alive. But that would not stop them from striking him again. That threat did not deter him from responding like the badger he was.

Things could be worse.

That was the saying that had kept Elkras going through some difficult times. When the ISC had wrecked his prized ship? Things could've been worse; he'd managed to stay alive and hadn't been arrested. When he'd had to go back into business with the Hutts in order to get the Comet flying again? Things could've been worse there, too; at least he still had a ship. Getting betrayed by a Trandoshan and being left for dead in an alleyway? At least he was still alive. Finally, he'd been unable to pay Nor'baal what he owed, and ever since then Elkras was having a difficult time convincing himself that things could, in fact, be worse.

That is, until he saw how Kotii was being treated in the cell adjacent to him on the YV-865 Aurore class freighter.

Suddenly, being just a regular prisoner on a Hutt prisoner transport going kark-knows-where didn't seem all that bad. Sure, the cell he was in was dirty, the guards were mean, and he hadn't been fed properly in a few weeks... but at least he wasn't that poor sucker. Whatever the man in the other cell had done to earn regular beatings and a drug-induced haze probably was more serious than simply going into debt with Nor'baal the Hutt. Elkras tried not to think about the fact that he was on the same prisoner transport as the man; it was simply a coincidence. Or an unhappy accident.

At least I'm not that guy... the smuggler consoled himself, even as he admired the man's spirit. Things could be worse.

Traveling through the depths of space was always a little bit unnerving for Hauron. The seemingly infinite vacuum of space was just as intimidating as the blazing brilliance of a sun or the strength of a planet beneath his feet. But there was just darkness and the wayward souls around him today.

The Mandalorian sat at the controls of a YV-865 light freighter. It was a good match for the prison transport he was set to approach in a matter of moments. The difference between them however was that Hauron’s vessel had some aftermarket modifications that would aid in stopping the ship. The laser cannon emplacements were swapped out with ion cannons that would be able to eat through even the decent shields his target possessed without running a risk of damaging the ship itself. Overflow impacts would lead to the enemy ship’s engines and even their hyperdrive to be disabled.

The people at the control of the weapon systems were an unlikely addition. The events that had preceded this jailbreak were a series that Hauron hoped to share with his Buir once he was broken out. Jedi and Mandalorians working together, more close than back on Onderon and with hopefully even greater results.

In addition to the ion cannon upgrades, the Mandalorian’s YV-865 had fusial afterburners integrated to the ship’s systems. Hauron gave a warning over the internal ship’s communication systems that everyone should be strapped in before activating the intense amount of thrust which pushed his armored form into its seat. It was a heartbeat before the ship was traveling at 110 MGLT, rocketing to close the distance with the ship that held Kotii Solus.

Once he was within range, the Mandalorian depressed the firing studs so the chin mounted light ion cannons would begin to chew through the medium shields of the enemy freighter. “Fire when ready” He said through gritted teeth. A dorsal mounted quad laser turret was the only non-ion cannon onboard and could dish out some serious damage, adding to the firepower of the stock vessel. Hopefully Aden Solus would be firing precisely enough to not breach the seal where Kotii was. Meanwhile Atin Solus was on the tail turret in a similar posting. His father's friends, they were more like uncles to Hauron and they were in charge of firing the turrets. He trusted them with his life and they returned the favor. The Jedi Knight Hailee, was somewhere else onboard the ship doing Manda knew what.

Combined with some other cannon fire of some friendlies, the deflector screen of the target Aurore class freighter would easily be decimated to nothing. The ship would begin to feel the bleed through of the sudden attack and it risked affecting its engines and other systems like it hyperdrive or communications. Hopefully, the barrage would render the prison transport dead in the water.

Among his own equipment the Solus had added a SG-82 sonic rifle. His sidearms had been swapped out with striker projectile pistols as well. While he doubted he would fight any Sith here, he had learned some valuable lessons since his fight on Onderon. The Mandalorian's armor was fitted in a similar way to one of his father's setups and matched to be more of a flight suit. The young Mikkian was practically his spitting image.

So many things had happened after Onderon that she hadn't even processed half of them. They had won, but at what cost? Countless civilians had died and even the King and the Senator had been murdered. The planet was somewhat safe, yet she didn't quite know how long this fragile safety would last. The Sith could possibly decide to come back anytime, but she had known that she couldn't have stayed...

She had defeated her equal opponent after an intense fight, but what happened afterwards had been the thing that had left her more speechless. Funnily enough, it seemed to be her thing now. Instead of just leaving him behind with his injuries, she had picked him up and healed him, just so that they had soon found themselves engaged in an endlessly deep and complicated, sometimes even philosophical conversation that was not only insightful, but definitely...inspiring.

Justice was always subjective. There was good and bad and everyone. Others might have argued that her spot was a weakness, but she rather saw it as a strength. She wasn't afraid of talking with the enemy, and if their intense conversation had proven one thing, it was that she wasn't the only one that was somehow torn and conflicted. There were still a thousand questions in her head that were just waiting to be answered, yet she knew that some answers would never be found.

After all, no matter how important they were, there were more pressing matters at hand that needed her immediate attention and focus. She had not stayed on Onderon, but she found herself in the middle unknown space, her crimson bladed lightsaber clipped to her belt. Hauron hadn't exactly talked into that...Hailee herself had been stubborn enough to make that decision on her own, as always.

She was never looking for trouble, yet it always seemed to find her. She had talked to Hauron and the others after the fight and once the prior had explained what had happened to his father, Hailee had decided that she would fight against this injustice as well. Definitions of justice were always subjective...she was reflected enough to know such things, yet there had been no doubts in the blonde Jedi that is was the right thing to do.

She had been forced into criminal structures herself when she was younger and the Hutts never played nice. She strongly respected Kotii and the other Mandos that followed him and so she had joined this admittedly risky endeavor without hesitation. "He'll be safe in no time" she had softly replied into the comlink, only contacting Hauron himself while she tensely watched from the nearest viewport. "Are you ready?" she had then added, hoping that he wasn't too worried about the outcome of this precarious mission. Thus, it wasn't a rhetorical question, she was truly worried about her comrade while she herself tried to focus and forget her own worries thereby.

They were getting closer and if everything went according to plan, they would breach the Deflector soon enough to damage their hyperdrive. She prepared herself to board the ship after their hopefully successful boarding attempt. While she was still aboard the ship though, she was forcing herself into a meditative state, just like her master had taught her, because she would not sit and wait while the rest fired. Instead, despite the distance between the ships, she was already reaching out with the Force, trying to expand her sphere of influence in order to locate the foes aboard the prisoner transfer ship. If close enough, she would start messing with them from a distance, hopefully bringing them into an advantageous position before the actual fight would start.

Sigtryggr had volunteered on some escort job that he didn't really know the importance of, nor did he really get paid enough to care. For this mission, he made sure to properly clean all of his equipment and spit shine the armour. It wasn't a glamorous job, but somebody had to do it, and he figured it might as well be him getting paid.

Fortunately, the trip wasn't entirely dull, as the guards took turns taunting the prisoners and poking fun of their misery and providing what might barely pass for entertainment. Siggy for his part sat back in the corner, trying to avoid having to do any real work on this, effectively, baby sitting gig.

He'd been told to keep an eye on one particular prisoner, supposedly he annoyed the big boss, but in all honesty Siggy didn't find the details particularly interesting. If the big guy tried any funny business, he reckoned he had the gear on him to take down a whole squad.

After all these years… Crux was still the delivery boy.

Only this time, instead of hauling around jugs of water or carrying in the majordomo’s new set of clothing, the cargo consisted of a few live prisoners. He was told that the most important one was a Mando named Kotii Solus. Apparently he’d tried to assassinate Nor’baal, and at the absurdity of such a notion, Crux had to admit that the Mando had some guts if he thought that he could actually do it.

For the majority of the trip, he sat on a crate across the room from the prisoners, occasionally looking at his datapad, sometimes looking up to check on the prisoners. There was no real reason to move other than to stretch his legs once in a while, and after a few minutes even that had gotten boring. In the end, he resorted to cleaning up some of his gear, which consisted of his usual armor set, his hand blasters, and his blaster carbine. It felt good to be cleaning his own armor instead of some sweaty pig’s.

After he’d finished that, he remained sitting on the crate, tapping a foot on the floor, hoping that they would reach their destination soon. He didn’t know how much longer he could last without some action.

The Nautolan male looked on with large, beady eyes, tears running down his cheeks but his struggles were simply moans and groans. Likely it was an aftermath of having his own sock stuffed into his mouth with a large duck tape wrapped around his face and skull base. The maintenance man was an employee of Ubrikkian Industries, the manufacturers of the Trexler 906 Armored Marauder.

The vehicle was in high demand and as the armored freighter was making a few stops after dumping its prized cargo off on Mandalore, two of such marauders were brought into the cargo hold, intent on likely being brokered to other syndicate dealers for credits. Last thing the Nautolan remembers after arriving to the starport was a white cloth shoved onto his face, darkness seeping afterwards. The man was laying in the nude, feet mobile but hands cuffed behind his back and also gagged with a sock. Romeo was in the near distance, checking his armament and making sure he had brought all necessary equipment with him on this jailbreak. The Deadly badger as commonly called, had cleverly ambushed the maintenance man and had hid inside the armored truck until of course the freighter exited out of hyperspace.

Speaking into his comlink, he signaled towards Hauron in the skies. "Karatyr, ready.." He said, Romeo turning his attention to the captive Nautolan. "Sorry mate, hope you don't take this personally.." He chuckled, opening the latch of the vehicle and hoisting the man to his feet before pushing him to the outside. Romeo was grabbed in his typical armored beskar'gam, functions including Jetpack, Scatterweave, Vision modes, right wrist rocket, and left wrist flamethrower. Hoisted over his back was his heavily modified Westar-17 blaster carbine with concussion rocket attachment and underbarrel plasma grenade launcher, fitted with obsidian camo.
Twin blaster pistols were on dual thigh holsters while his beskad was strapped to his back and the mauler slugthrower hidden in a back holster. Romeo led the man towards the main cargo hold's door latch, pressing the button to open the steel barrier and shoved the man forward. "Run" he commanded.

The Nautolan male ran forward, soon to be coming into view of the prison holding cells as well as the two Syndicate scoundrels taking watch over Kotii. @Sicadorito @Xorism Certainly, the sight of a nude male handcuffed and gagged would be an interesting sight; it definitely brought a few laughs to Romeo's face as a single armored finger slid over the trigger of his rifle and he moved forwards into the first deck.

Things happened. People got killed and people got paid.
Jon did the killing and Dromon got paid.
Should’ve bagged that bounty alive. Getting triggerhappy. Maybe it’s the rum.

He never really drank on the job—a headhunter needed a clear head to hunt heads—but he always kept a flask in his jacket and one sip wouldn’t hurt.
Yep, Jon thought to himself. That’s the spot.

Screwing the cap back on the flask, Jon got up from his chair, looked around at irate guards, the guy in the corner and the guy on the crate.

"I need to piss."

The Duros left to take care of business, and all the better if the bathroom was by the maybe-it's-a-brig but, bottom line, when you had to go you had to go.

Laeonas seemed especially comfortable in the freighter, what with him owning one just like it. Even if this one was much less hospitable, there was a familiarity about it. He felt similarly as he sat next to the Jedi, lips pursed, glancing around the room. The presence of another Jedi had once made him feel like he was home, that he was comfortable. Her presence still had a feeling of familiarity to it, but there was an awkwardness there-- it was entirely in his own head ofcourse, but those emotions projected outwards, oozing into the force and permeating the ship like heat from a radiator.

The circumstances of his being there were much less noble than the other force wielder onboard. He didn't know much about who they were going to rescue-- only that he led a faction of Mandalorians, those beskar clad warriors who'd given him the wrist prostheses bolted between his hand and ar, and that said faction stood against the Sith. That last fact and the substantial reward he was promised were what had encouraged him to take part in such a risky mission.

The Brentaalan had meditated for a few hours, and in spite of his obvious discomfort he was still calm, collected, and ready. He knew it wouldn't be long before they'd board the enemy ship, and so he stood up and began to stretch. It was an odd sight, watching him put down his equipment and twist in ways one wouldn't expect such a tall and built human could. Laeonas would strap his blaster back across his shoulder and clip his vibrosword and scabbard back to his belt afterwards.

Glancing around, he took stock of his "comrades" again, eyes darting from the Jedi, to the smuggler and the two beskar clad warriors. Never in his life did he imagine he'd ever wind up working alongside these people again. Perhaps when this was over they'd finally be willing to take the beskar off his hands... for a very, very steep price ofcourse.

"Let's do this." He nodded and replied to Hailee. The freighter was shaking slightly in Hauron's controls as it rapidly approached the prison transport of a similar make and model. When the chin mounted light ion cannons were within range, the young Mikkian fired. The barrage of the weapon missed a few shots but most of them impacted the target Aurore freighter as intended under a briefly sustained attack.

Hauron disengaged the fusial afterburners now that he was within decent range. The stability and mobility to the ship would protect them from any attempted return fire. The striking ion cannon against the Five Syndicate medium deflector shields would drop to nothing as the Quad laser cannon lent its assistance. The instant the shields dropped to half its strength several ion cannon blasts managed to knock out the engines and the hyperdrive.

"Hold your fire, Aden. Leave the quad turret and come to the cockpit." He said to the fellow Mandalorian. The lethal damage of the quad laser turret would only serve to risk breaching the YV-865's hull. There weren't any escort starfighters and there was the chin mounted cannons and the tail ion turret to keep the enemy ship incapacitated. "I only want to use ion weapons on that ship from now on."

The min would begin to guide the ship closer and approach for a docking maneuver. A follow up series of ion cannon shots from the YV-865 would knock out the tail and chin weapon systems. The last thing Hauron wanted was for them to open fire as he got closer. Without the engines or hyperdrive, the Syndicate ship wouldn't be outmaneuvering the docking procedure.

The front chin of the ship was its primary airlock was located to connect the two ships' main cargo holds together. A short docking ring extended that was angled to match the dimensions of the the ship it came from. There was a second but smaller airlock along the dorsal part of the ship but would be harder to get to. But the two YV-865 freighters almost seemed to be 'kissing'.

Once he saw that there was a good seal, he spoke into his commlink to Hailee and the strange Brentaalan. "Begin opening them up. I'll be right down." He knew that between the two of them, they could manage to cut through a ship with a lightsaber. From there it was a whole other story. Hauron would have to leave the cockpit once Aden joined him and could begin to make his way down to the first.

Hailee patiently waited for commands or any other obvious signs even if patience was definitely not her strong suit. She didn't have much of a choice though anyway as she was stuck on this ship, her lightsaber still clipped to her belt while she waited for Hauron to break through the foe's defensive barrier.

Once the deflector shield was cracked, she could feel a slight wave of hope washing over her as she realized that the first part of their risky plan had apparently worked out quite well. She had finished her mediation right on time, now feeling not only relaxed but also fully concentrated as she already moved into the direction of the provisional docking area.

"Let's go" she called over to the other Jedi (@Tom). She would have loved to chat some more, but unfortunately they were on a really tight schedule if they wanted everything to go as smoothly as intended. "On it" she briefly reported back to Hauron (@Darasuum), an almost exciying smile crossing her lips as she moved into the direction of the cargo hold that would now lead them right onto the other ship.

Without looking back and checking on the Brentaalan she didn't hesitate before letting the hilt of her crimson bladed lightsaber snap into her hand, immediately activating the blade and ramming in right into the durasteel cladding of the prisoner transport.

'Are we pirates now she critically wondered for a split second as she was usually someone who strongly condemned crime, but was this truly a crime? No. This was a necessary rescue mission, and they should better hurry. She would have more time for moral concerns later on, for now she was busy trying to slice and cut that ship open. She had to shield her eyes by squinting heavily, a thousand sparks dancing across the lithe silhouette of the blonde Jedi who was just helping at a prison break...

As she continued trying to melt the metal, she was focusing her concentration on the other side of the durasteel wall, reaching out with the Force to already sense approaching opponents. There was definitely quite a commotion inside, yet she couldn't determine concrete numbers to report to the others.

Elkras had nearly dozed off when the ship rocked violently, followed moments later by the constant hum of the ship's engines cutting out as more fire impacted the transport. The smuggler tried not to cheer as quieter moments passed and he soon realized that this wasn't an attack meant to destroy the ship; this was, in all likelihood, a rescue. Suddenly it wasn't such a bad thing to be on a ship with this other guy, especially if he had friends willing to bust him out. And me along with him.

They will
take me along with him, right?

Elkras swallowed as he realized that it was a very real possibility that he could be left behind, because these were not his friends. He didn't have friends. There were few people in the galaxy that even knew he was on this transport, none of whom would bother lifting a finger to break him out.

Of course, the smuggler was confident that he could endear himself to these rescuers in the time it took them to free the other guy, but it never hurt to hedge his bests; not when his life was at stake. If the transport arrived without the other guy and Elkras was still on it, there was a good chance that whomever wanted the other guy would have no qualms taking out their frustration on him, instead.

"Whoever this is, I don't know them!" he said aloud to the room, projecting innocence. "I had absolutely nothing to do with this, trust me!"

Laeonas was bouncing on his feet as he stood and waited, though he froze up as the other Jedi addressed him. The initial shock faded after a moment, and Laeonas would nod, standing by the girl's side, vibrosword drawn. The familiar hiss of a saber sounded in his ears, but the thrum and the light on his peripherals caught him offguard. The crimson blade was a surprise-- his own saber had once been red, sure, but his master had helped him purify the crystal. The young knight obviously hadn't gotten that far.

It's color didn't make him uncomfortable-- far from it, as aquamarines would light up in admiration. Hailee could've only gotten such a blade if she'd beaten it's original wielder. He couldn't imagine that a living foe would give up their blade either. The Brentaalan was curious to see what kind of a warrior this girl was, though he had an idea.

As Hailee plunged her blade into the ship and began to search with the force, the Brentaalan gathered it to him, drawing on what little life force existed in this empty bit of space. His focus was on the door that the Jedi was carving into the hull. At the same time, he felt his body beginning to loosen, the beat of his heart speeding up while the force flowed through him. Once that door was carved, it would soar through the air like a javelin, and crush anyone in front-- and if they somehow survived, Laeonas would leap through, sword in hand.

The sounds of strikes against the Syndicate ship were loud enough to be heard inside the cargohold, prompting Sigtryggr to jump up onto his feet and draw his blaster rifle. On the comm in his ear he could hear the piloting crew cursing as the ship was in the process of being disabled but they couldn't yet figure out whose ship it belonged to.

There wasn't much point to that, Siggy figured, whoever it was wanted to spring this fella out and it was his job to make that as hard as possible for these damn pirates. As if out of nowhere, a naked Nautolan appeared running from one direction without making much noise. Quick as a flash, Siggy switched his blaster to the heavy stun setting and fired one shot centre mass toward the poor sucker, knocking him unconscious as the stun effect seized up his muscles.

If there was one, there surely would be another Siggy thought. Looking over to Crux he yelled, "Take cover and fire on anyone you don't recognise. I'm gunna check this weird shit out. Where the kriff is Jon at?" Moving carefully, he exposed himself past the wall blocking the line of sight to the direction that the naked man had approached from with his blaster poised to fire. Almost immediately, the imposing view of an armoured Mandalorian with a painted skull for a face came into sight.

Without hesitation, Siggy pulled the trigger twice, sending two heavy stun blasts toward his chest which, if impacting, would render him incapacitated. His stance was somewhat crouched, attempting to read his opponent and be ready to jump out of the way of any incoming fire. There was some hard cover back the way he came, and plenty of sporadic cover in the area from the other cargo that he could utilise while his opponent was somewhat bottlenecked.

It was time to dance.

Not even one job could go smoothly, could it? Crux stood up along with Siggy as he heard the strikes against the ship and footsteps running down the hall. Was that a naked Nautolan? He’d seen some weird things in the Desilijic palace on Tatooine… but this was a new one.

“Will do.” Crux quickly put on his helmet and grabbed his hand blasters, one in each hand as he immediately moved behind the large crate in the center of the room. The prisoners were a short distance away, and he wouldn’t let them out of his sight. There wasn’t anything else these pirates would have come for.

When he peeked out from behind to get a sense of what they were up against, he caught sight of an incoming Mandalorian with a rifle and a helmet that looked like a skull. Unlike Siggy, his blasters weren’t on stun as he fired one bolt aimed at the center of the Mando’s chest. As soon as he did, he would draw back his arm, pressing a finger to his helmet as he spoke into his comms.

“Jon! Get your karking butt back here!”

Meanwhile, while a ship’s hull is soon to evolve into a ship’s front door, in a restroom is being waged a different kind of war.

“IT’S A CRAP”
Cried a Mon Cala in a stall at one side.

“Hey that sounds pretty nasty, how about a courtesy flush over there?”
Called a Duros with no hair.

Something from that stall smelt fishy and sounded like an earthquake.
Then the whole ship began to shake.

“CRAP
Cried the chorus of a Mon Cala and a Duros

Moments later and just a Duros enters the corridor, steps through a hallway instead of a hull’s new front door.

Not entirely sure what’s going on, Jon Dromon peeks round the corner of a wall to make sense of it all.

“I'm here, huckleberry.”
Said a bounty hunter who crossed a border and boarded a ferry.

Unlike his counterparts, crates weren’t this hunter’s game.
He hugged the wall, leveled right arm and allowed his blaster pistol to make a phone call.

-PHWOM!-PHWOM!-

Two shots but not for Skull Man’s chest.
One shot if he moved to the right, one if he moved to the left.

Three on one?

Reminds one of those classic action movies.

And Romeo Solus, well, he was just destined to be a movie star. The natural bravado leaked from the Mandalorian much like steam off baked meatloaf. A sly chuckle coming to his face as the trio of goons decided to attack.

His reaction was almost natural as it was planned. Romeo lept into the air, activating the intrinsic combat mode function of his jetpack as the turbines propelled him 7 meters to his own right. The horizontal movement of course would mean that his torso was no longer in the position it was a moment earlier. As such, the two shots from Sig, and single shots from Crux / Jon would whistle past air to strike the metal walls behind him. As the Mandalorian moved, he slipped his index finger to the side button on the under-barrel of his weapon, squeezing with his middle trigger finger as he fired once with the grenade launcher.

Plasma grenade exited from the barrel, striking at the location where Crux was finding cover. @Sicadorito Its epicenter would not be stopped in its deadliness from the crate and depending on how close the others were, could easily capture Sig as well as Jon within its destructive radius @Xorism @Die Shize . Eyes kept glance over his opponents, preparing to intercept their next movements with well placed shots if he needed to.

In a moment Hauron was joined in the cockpit on the friendly freighter. The young Mikkian slid out of the pilot seat by the time the fellow Mandalorian was finding his own in the co-pilot chair. "Thanks. Keep her steady, vod" He was already down the hall by the time he finished his sentence and at the ladder well.

Not waiting a moment he slid down the ladder and arrived in the aft portion of the cargo hold of his own ship. Ahead he could see the progress made on the enemy ship. He shouldered his sonic rifle. They must have been most of the way through by the time the Solus arrived.

Engaging his magboots, he would have a better grip on the deck. It also meant he could walk on walls or ceilings if needed but that was only going to happen if the artificial gravity broke down. Hauron held the SG-82 sonic rifle knowing it was not as outright damaging as other weapons. But unlike blasters it could not be blocked by a lightsaber. The punch from the 'hard sound' that was fired from the rifle could rupture blood vessels, shred muscles and even cause fatal wounds. The Mandalorian made sure he was just a few meters from the entrance and right behind the Jedi.

She was attracted to trouble like a moth to a flame, yet there was definitely no turning back now. They enemies might not have spotted her yet, but she had promised Hauron she would be on board with this and loyalty was an important value after all.

She kept going, unrelentless in her attempt to melt the durastell away and thanks to the presence of the othed Jedi, she felt at least somewhat after while doing so. He had no lightsaber and she wondered why, but in the end he was probably wondering why she was still in possession of a crimson bladed one, but there was simply no time for small talk.

She could feel the ripple within the Force as her fellow Jedi started to coil it around him and in the very second she had finished her slighlty warped circle, he released it with a blast, sending the thick metal wall flying into the enemy's ship with brute, crushing force.

He was the first to jump in, but she followed right after without any hesitation. She knew that they had to act quick and that her lightsaber was surely valuable when it came to cutting through the important prisoner's cell.

She had quickly glanced over her shoulder, double checking that Hauron and his men were ready too, before she storming in. She quickly moved to the left, thereby allowing Hauron to have a clear shot at incoming foes if needed before she herself was already engaging the first guard? Or whatever he was. She was not here to kill, but to fulfill a mission, so she simply hurled him out of the way for now.

That was just an NPC for now as I think all PCs were further away

That was, however, right when a huge explosion shook the whole ship. "What the kriff?!" she muttered in disbelief, "What idiot threw a grenade?!". She was not just shocked, but truly confused because it made absolutely no sense that there was already fighting going on within the ship.

She glanced back at Hauron, slightly bewildered, hoping he would have an explanation, but this was also not the time to discuss details. What mattered was that Kotii was freed somehow...and so she reluctantly pressed on by sprinting down the ship, right into the direction of the fight. She protectively held the lightsaber in a diagonal position, ready to defend herself if necessary, but she needed to gain an overview first.

Elkras' eyes widened in shock as a grenade made its most unwelcome entrance into the battle and stopped not too far away from him. "No!" he shouted, as if yelling at the grenade would somehow stop it from exploding in his face. The "rescuer" who launched it might've been targeting the guard nearby, but grenades had a way of spreading the hurt to everyone nearby; and Elkras was uncomfortably close.

"Nononononononono!" Elkras punctuated his frantic cries with vigorous shaking of his cell back and forth, which in practice was little more of a cage; solid metal sheets at the top with bars in between. He awkwardly managed to tip it over with a loud crash so that the solid metal of the top of the cage was facing the grenade. Elkras tipped over with it, too, but the bruises he'd get along the way were a small price to pay if it meant he didn't get vaporized by the plasma grenade.

The smuggler cowered, prone, behind his makeshift shield, hoping that it might buck the trend of shoddy Syndicate hardware and maybe keep him from dying in a very unglamorous manner...
