BIOGRAPHY
Azee Vara (ay-zee vah-rah) was born to a single mother, Syla Vara, a club dancer in an impoverished lower district of the capitol city of Iziz. Syla did her best to provide for her daughter, and though it wasn't much they had a tight bond. Just after she turned 9, however, Azee found herself alone when her mother never returned from work. A day later, the apartment was ransacked and what little credits remained taken while Azee hid in a cupboard. She learned that day how cruel the word could be, and took it to heart; if she wanted to survive, she needed to do so by taking what she could get and holding on to it, never letting herself be at the mercy of anyone stronger than her.
Azee began living on the streets, stealing and hustling to survive. Along the way, the young Zeltron learned to utilize not just her looks but a strange power she began to tune into. She could convince people to give her a few extra credits more than a reasonable person would, and eventually she even learned to pickpocket without touching the object itself—they would just float to her waiting hand as she focused on the object. Azee used this to her advantage, grinding out a small living while staying just one step ahead of past victims and the authorities. It's not enough for her however; Azee knows she can be so much more, if she just found the opportunity and a chance to escape the back alleys of Onderon.
Personality
Azee is stubborn, prideful, and ambitious above all else. She hates asking for help or being put in any position where she feels like she's not in control, though she is not above requesting help if she feels it will help her advance her long term goals. Azee has a very nihilistic view of life and the world, being inherently wary of others and operating under the belief that everyone does what's best for them first and foremost, even if they say otherwise. More than anything, though, Azee is intrigued by the mysterious power she has and knows it can make her special if she can figure out how it works.
Skills
• Charisma: Azee frequently sweet talks her way out of situations to avoid suspicion or save face
• Dexterous/Agility: Unfortunately there's only only so much talking can do, and so Azee became very good at running and maneuvering her way through crowds, buildings, and across rooftops
• Mind Trick: Azee doesn't exactly understand it, but she has developed a skill for mind tricks throughout her various hustles and robberies
• Knife Skills: Azee has moderate skill with a blade in close quarters, though it's not her favored method of combat
• Blasters: Azee is an accurate shot with a blaster pistol, and she's no stranger to a shootout
