Ayla Sora

24/F/Bandomeer - 72kg - 1.7m - Human - Force Sensitive

Rebel - Level 1

Biography

Ayla was born on Bandomeer to an extremely poor family. Her father was never around and likely did not know she existed. She never verified it herself, but she was the result of a one night stand after a drunken night at a bar. A complete accident that her mother could never stand to purge. She was raised by her mother alone with no siblings or father figure. Her mother tried to provide for them by working any job that she could find. Bartender, Waitress, Escort, or whatever else became available. The girls learned to live on the bare minimum.

As Ayla started to reach her early teen years, she started wanting to work to help her mother. Whether it was pride or a desire to protect, her mother always said no. She wanted her daughter to study and save her childhood before the harsh realities of life set in. Ayla would hardly get that chance though. Her mother was killed one night, never to return home to her daughter. It was a man who wanted more than he paid for with the escort services. The young girl spent months tracking down what happened, living in the streets along the way. Eventually she found that the man had died in some random brawl. Disappointing and it still left her longing for revenge. Her life was aimless and she was angry. She decided to flee to nearby Dathomir where men were not in charge and couldn’t hurt her anymore.

Transport to Dathomir as a stowaway was awful, but she made it. The Witches took interest in the girl and took her in. She became a Nightsister among a coven that had a few other human females. Mud painted her skin and cloth covered her face to help other covens accept her and she was taught their ways.

When the Mandalorians took Dathomir for themselves, Ayla found her coven had been on the wrong side of the conflict in the wrong area. She hardly escaped death herself but managed to get to town where she could easily blend in with an average human once she shed her witch garb for regular clothes. Transport back home to Bandomeer for the now adult Nightsister was easy to obtain through magic. There she learned that the Mandalorians had also taken over and that there was a large effort of war against the Sith. The very Sith she had been taught to hate since she was young. She also learned that the Mandalorians hated force and magic users. She would hide her powers from them and just about everyone else to make herself seem like a normal being. Eventually she found her way to the Galactic Alliance, a seeming group of various types to fight the Sith. That seemed fitting to escape the Mandalorians while also getting her grudge out on the Sith.

Personality

A mix of urban street rat and secluded nightsister built the woman who became Ayla Sora. She is social and loves to chat even with an enemy, but always keeps her guard up for trouble. Men are never to be trusted. Simple as that. You can work with them if they earn the privilege but never trust them fully. Adapting to surroundings is important as well. Ayla can make herself seem at home among the nightsisters, among a Mandalorian raid party, or as a regular citizen of the Imperial Republica. She does not make grudges easily and is happy to work where opportunity is present. When a grudge is made, however, her wrath is insatiable until the problem is ended. Her upbringing among the Nightsisters taught her to take a grudge against the Sith sorcerers. She will kill and/or torture them if possible. Among neutrals or allies she is usually content to keep things peaceful.

So, whether or not she hides her powers there is a rule that no trained force sensitives can join/start as a mandalorian. You will have make her an indie or use another faction that you can theoretically work into her story that still achieves the "go fight sith" goal that she currently has.

Otherwise I'll have to archive the character.

The only villages on Dathomir are run by the Nightsister clans, so why would a man flee there to hide? And is he fleeing just because he killed your character's mother or some other reasons? Either case, would be very stupid of him to flee to a planet where he would be dead within a day of landing. Might be best to rework how she ended up on Dathomir, like her tracking this one man down and months later following him to Dathomir seems a little unconvincing. It's a large Galaxy, and she doesn't really have any skills or influence that would enable her to track someone down like that.

APPROVED but if a Jedi catches onto her Dark Side alignment there might be consequences, which could be fun or deadly to role play out depending on how the Jedi react.
