Character Name and Reputation Level: Roland Rook Notable Newcommer (previously unknown at start of plot)
Character Rank: Ranger
Name (and link) of Plot: Automatic Defense (sign ups)
Participants in the Plot (Character Accounts):
@Roland
@Chester Kincade (opposition/dropped out)
@Carver
@Alton Hackett
@Kal Zyn Dross
@Corran Velt
@Darmus Onn

Intended Outcome of Plot: Provided the Rangers do their jobs well, TAU win the lawsuit and will make a contract with the Sector Rangers as an organization and provide a series of IT-6 drone shepherds. Ranger PCs will be able to use them for official purposes if needed as they essentially become "company cars"
Any PvP or Staff DMing involved?
Link to Dice Roll Thread (if applicable):

  1. To Find a Judge dice
  2. Doctor's Orders dice
Link to Desired Item/Power/Etc (if applicable): mulitple IT-6 drone shepherds
Relevant Threads and a Description Per Thread in Chronological Order:

  1. To Find a Judge - Ordered to guard Judge Veridan, the two rangers fail to keep eyes on him and are given the slip. As a result Judge Veridan either defends himself against any attackers but is ultimatly removed from the lawsuit or Black Sun gets to him and kills him.
  2. Doctor's Orders - Criminals make their move on Doctor Strop but the valiant Rangers sent to defend her do a decent enough job and manage to end with three of the would-be assassins in custody.
  3. Brief - The lawyer representing Cog & Spanner calls a meeting with the lawyer droid ADA-M4. The two rangers keep vigil watch just in case anything sketchy happens but ultimately the conference is just adds up to posturing and another dull day for two Rangers.

Rejected. While the death of the judge wouldn't result in the end or loss of the lawsuit, Roland won't be getting that contract. He and his group did their jobs poorly (via the bad dice rolls) by losing the judge in the first thread. However, because the lawsuit was a success you guys may do a make up thread to attempt to convince TAU to reconsider their choice and still give them the contract.

Here's the overall impact:
-The rangers protect enough people in this case for the lawsuit to be successful (due to the two successful threads)
-The rangers do not get the contract for doing a poor job guarding the judge (due to the first thread being a failure) but have the opportunity to try to convince TAU to reconsider.
