I am checking in with Commander Kiada Atar. Her own ship is a TIE Defender, but she also has command over 30 other pilots. The ships they're flying are 3 Interceptors, 12 Bombers, and 15 standard TIE Fighters. I have already checked with Xeno and he has approved my squad.

From the looks of it, we've only got 3, maybe 4 PC ground troops, of which only mine seems to have command of a useful number of NPC's. At this juncture I'm trying to figure out how to get into the thread without setting myself up to fail miserably.

Option A is participate in the ground assault, but depart immediately after it's done. Basically, play ball just barely long enough to gtfo. This'd also give other Imp Rebels a chance to link up with my Major, so we could all proceed to a Rebel cap ship afterwards and then book it to GA space.

Option B is feign mechanical failure of a heavy landing ship and be 'unable' to participate in the ground assault, giving time to book out. Flaw with that is it makes it very hard to meet other Rebels, aaaaand it could backfire horribly if someone bothers sending a mechanic over to so much as peek at the dropships available to my Major. :P

I'd go with option A and I'll post hopefully soon, just waiting for my paycheck.

I'd actually appreciate it if the Rebels participating in the groundside thread could wait for me to post up an 'Official' plan of action. With how this is set up, we're going to all need to be on the same page otherwise we'll be isolated and annihilated.
