Hanna City, Chandrilla | 3:42, Wednesday Afternoon | Only Open to 2 Republic Opposition | OOC
Chandrilla was a peaceful world, far removed from the conflicts that raged across the Galaxy. The beating heart of the Republic. While Coruscant was the gemstone, Chandrilla was the Crown in which it was set. The symbol of it's unity and the ideals it represented. The city itself was a beauteous white-buildings that reminded Cain of Alderaan. The clouds hung low in the sky, the world felt so very still, like it was holding it's breath. Despite that sensation, the people on the quiet world went about their daily lives as if nothing was amiss. Yet there was a poison sliding its way through the world's arteries. Several Systech vessels, the same vessels that always delivered supplies and armaments to the Guards stationed at the Republic Senate Building, were devoid of the equipment that the defenders so needed. Instead, the armored and scan-protected hulls of the vessel hid Darth Cain, High Priest of the Sith and his compatriot Darth Rwun, the newest member of the Dark Council. Accompanying them were a good number of Sith Priests and Warriors. In the other transports in the caravan behind them; Stormtroopers.
Darth Cain sat liesurely in the cargo-hold, humming a lilting tune. His eyes flicked up to the Sith Warrior who had taken up a spot nearby and he gave a pleasant nod. Cain wore his full armor today-his helmet designed to accentuate the horrific force wound that disfigured his face. Six glowing red eyes burned through the clear slits of plasteel on the front. His robes and cloak were concealing enough to prevent prying eyes from noticing the veritable armory he carried with him. His experiences in the past had taught him not to rely on his sorcery alone. He ran a lazy thumb down the side of the curved hilt lightsaber on his right hip before he rose to his feet. He gestured to the large metal crate at the center of the cargo hold. Inside nearly fifty canisters blinked with angry red light. The tension of the cargo hold grew heavier as he opened his mouth to speak.
"The vessel will land in the security loading dock, the moment we land all of you will immediately proceed with the assault. Destroy every defender, we are not here to take prisoners today. These people are Heretics, hapless fools who scorn the glory of the Empire and the beatific worship of the Dark Side. It is only through expunging them that we will begin to repair the damage that has been done. Disorder must be crushed. Order is all that shall remain. Darth Rwun and I will make to secure the primary dock terminal and shut the blast doors-we do not want anyone in or out until it is time to leave. Two of you will secure an escape vessel for us. The rest of you..." Cain paused, the high quality speakers agumenting his voice so that it carried throughout the hangar. "Spread the poison throughout the Docking Bays and kill anyone who resists it's effects. The maddened civilians and guards will serve as a proper buffer. Let the Republic Defenders kill their own."
The Sith around him nodded their grim understanding. Each of them felt like a growing inferno in the force, each of them fed off of his zeal, his devotion. Let them grow stronger, Cain thought, let them feel the power of the dark side lift them up and give them strength. This plan, that had been so carefully concocted, had been waiting for months since the sabotage of the shield generators that surrounded the Senate Building. The weapons emplacements that protected the structure would be unable to fire inside and defend it. Only the Senatorial Guard was stationed at the structure, there was no evidence that a full garrison had been set up in the building. The Republic was overconfident in the planets defenses. This would be their undoing.
The sound of machinery outside the shuttle brought all inside to silence. The repulsorlifts that maintained the shuttle's altitude began to wind down. There was a shift as the shuttle turned to dock it's cargo facing the interior. Outside Cain could hear the sounds of several docking crew members rush up to the vessel and attach fueling clamps. One Sith took up a canister from the container and armed it. There was a low hum as the other shuttles landed alongside it.
"Get those supplies unloaded! We're hurting here!" One voice called from outside.
"Shut it will you? No talking about supply levels." Another voice reprimanded.
There was a ripple of amusement that seemed to cascade from each of the sith inside the vessel. Cain's lip curled beneath his mask. This was almost too easy. There was a loud thud, and then the doors to the cargo bay opened. Cain moved into position, nodding once to Darth Rwun before standing behind the solitary Sith with the canister. The other warriors and priests moved into position as well. The bay doors lowered until all eyes met with the single Dock Worker standing behind the ship-bay controller in hand. He stared at them, they stared back, his eyes went wide and his skin went pale, and the Sith threw the canister right at him. It exploded-sending the dock worker flying and sending a cloud of green and black smoke billowing out into the air.
Men screamed as blasterfire erupted from the Systech vessels on either side of the one Cain had ridden in. Stormtroopers poured out-blasters putting down surprised security and workers alike. Cain drew his lightsaber and strode out into the chaos-men on their knees gripping their heads as the sith poison did it's horrible work to the minds of those untouched by the force. Two sith activated the repulsors on the container with the remaining sith poison and began moving it quickly toward the other side of the docking bay. Cain casually deflected a rogue blasterbolt and sent it flying back into the sender's chest. Security alarms blared, but it was too late.
"I think I will make today a holiday. Care to join me Darth Rwun?" Darth Cain drawled and charged toward the stairs leading up to the primary dock terminal.
