Sol was leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Rangers were thrown aside like rag dolls, their heads smashing against the adjacent walls as the Sith cleared a path for himself. His gaze was trained forward, his steps purposeful and precise as he made his advance. He could sense Ender nearby, and he could also sense a Lightsider nearby. The Jedi were like an awful stench that permeated through the air and had a very distinct odor.

However, before he could proceed into the room, a man stood in his way. Sol halted in his tracks, gaze lingering for a moment on the red saber, and then flickering over to the blue. For a moment, there was nothing but the sound of his rattling breath drawn through the oxygen filtration mask on his face.

The man was a Sith, and the Champion could sense it. There was a flicker of recognition and he could sense the dread in him. It was almost a sliver of fear and there was only one reason for him to feel fear upon seeing a Champion. The Kel Dor didn’t hesitate and the Force rapidly began to coil around Talak’s neck.

“Step aside, maggot,” His cold, mechanical voice cut in as he compressed the Force around him. A saber hilt soared from within the folds of Sol’s cloak to his right hand.

Oren prepared himself as he heard the sound of explosions rumbling across the building, he had Nashyr and Riz beside him. He felt nothing, but peace with the situation at hand, his brown eye peering forward as he readied his blade in a defensive stance, with his right foot out in front of his left as his blade was angled to cover the front of his body, stepping forward around 8 meters ahead of his friends.

He saw the three crimson blades and took a deep breath, "I'm afraid visitation hours are over..M'lord." A faint smile would form on the burned man's face as he gripped against his blade. Oren watched as @Calix Viritan began to flick the blades as he walked towards them. Oren would reach out with his left hand as the man did so, using the force as he attempted to pull the man closer, to him as he stepped forward blade in hand. If it worked he would be able to buy enough time and possibly slow down the thrown blades at his comrades. If his pull worked he would charge the distance towards the champion, bringing his blade around on his right side for a wrap shot aimed for the right center of the man's side, hoping that his off footing wouldn't allow him to react in time, or cause him to take an off balanced stance.

Rushing inside he could sense the dark side of the Force spreading across the prison like a fire out of control. And soon it would burn through everything. Though a spark of hope, of light was inside, he could sense it. He could also sense a familiar presence nearby,

Skkk-bhrk,

“Thalia! What’s going on? Do you know what’s here?” He looked about, dozens of injured being escorted out to the rear landing pads where he’d just come from. Somewhere near the infirmary he must be, and the feeling of ill he got only grew further in. After what he had sensed in her on Toydaria, he had to wonder if she could feel what was going on here much like he had,

“People are hurting further inside” he stepped closer to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. If she was sensitive then no doubt she’d feel the pangs of it like he could as he shared his senses to her. Assuming she did, he had to ask,

“What do you think we should do?” the dark side felt cruel, felt empty, felt wrong. If she could feel it too, then her response to it would be important. And if people knew what it was, what it could do, that could only help build their coalition against it.

More than anything, she wished she had words of comfort to say to the kiddo, but there wasn't time. Instead, she squared her gaze back towards the entrance where the intruders were sure to come before reinforcements could arrive, her pose one of calm, lightsaber at the ready in her left and her right hand free for defense or assault. "Calm, kid."

She didn't even glance at Oren, but words were spoken. Calm, careful words, in case they didn't make it, that she knew were reciprocated, but would have haunted her if she didn't have the chance to say them.

"Love you."

Now she was ready to face down the Dark Side with no regrets. They were going to go hard and fast, and she wasn't going to go down without a fight to defend those that were still trapped here. Little did she know security feeds were up, and her words could possibly be heard. But at that moment, her focus was concentrated on the Darkness ahead.

The Light Side answered her call to her right hand, and when the blades came spinning and the champion with his apprentices approached, she was already ready. She gave a telekinetic wave to deflect the spinning blade away from her stomach and harmlessly away to the right, then focused on the closest apprentice to her. She directed the continued motion of the wave in an aggressive push attack to the apprentice's head and shoulders into the wall behind them in a merciless slam with the intent to take them out of the fight permanently. She wasn't going to pull her punches and give them the benefit of attack.

Her left hand was at the ready still with her blade in defensive position at a 45 degree angle. Since she was positioned to the right, her target would be the apprentice to the right for now.

Despite the blade coming straight for her, she let a wave of calm radiate within her at her master's words. Such was the Jedi way, after all. Chaos, yet harmony. Following Nash's lead, the padawan extended her left hand, lightsaber still in her right, and willed the force to guide the blade away from her, narrowly missing her and slicing through the slightly baggy cloak of her armor as it otherwise harmlessly flew past her.

After the blade was dealt with, the Twi'lek turned her attention to the apprentice on the left side, and guided the force to attempt to pull the apprentice's shoulders towards the ground, hoping if things went perfectly to bring them tumbling down to the ground. If such a thing happened, it'd be quite advantageous, considering the apprentices seemed to both have their hands full. If not, she'd settle for bringing the guy off balance, and considering one of her hands still held her ignited lightsaber she poised herself for a downward strike. Lives were on the line, and she wasn't going to let them get extinguished without a fight.

Grinning still, Hannibal did indeed move forward, but perhaps not as the darksider had intended. The only cell door near him was to his left, as he'd just come around the corner of the hall. He felt the surge of darkside energy and began to move, stepping diagonally right and forward, the apex of the swinging door hitting empty air and leaving Hannibal away from any others. He flicked the stun setting off and fired a blaster bolt from his pistol as he took the step, targeting the center of the prisoner's torso.

Guard and stance still quite intact and arranged in the same fashion, he grounded the burst of eldritch lightning harmlessly on his lightsaber by bringing it up vertically into the path of energy, firing a second shot half a second after the first that also targeted center torso. As the prisoner moved forward Hannibal fired twice more, shining blue bolts aimed at center torso. All the shots had been at close range while his opponent had no lightsaber, and half had been while the darksider had been trying to affect him in some way or other while the other half were simply while he approached, one after the other.

Hannibal himself didn't move other than to alter his aim and ensure his guard matched angles with the darksider's approach, capable of defending himself just as before, the Force flowing through and around him to match. He was sure the other man couldn't move ten meters in the time he'd be firing without the use of Force-enhanced speed in the narrow hall, and Hannibal was ready to engage in a duel at a moment's notice.

"Ooh, gotta try harder than that, Sparky!" he taunted, grinning even wider. Somewhere nearby he could feel two dark presences, the first shadowy and full of malice, while the second was... Masky!? His danger sense tingled, but they'd stopped moving. Hannibal really hoped he wasn't going to have to deal with three at once. That would be bad.

Talak's eyes practically glowed as he stared down the Champion. He had no delusions about how this would go. He wouldn't walk away from this fight in one piece. His plan to kill a Champion was to weaken them with arcane sorcery, but he hadn't had the chance. Now, he was going to face the man down directly in open combat, and he hoped he was a match.

Talak "saw" the Force starting to close around his throat and pressed back against it with the Force. It was just enough to keep himself from being strangled or having his throat crushed while he sent out a burst of Force from his hand enough to knock the Champion off balance and disrupt the attack.

I will stop you, he hissed. Talak didn't waste any time charging froward as the Champion was recovering his balance and jabbed his right saber toward the man's sternum, using the reach of the thrust to close the distance even more quickly.

Thalia stood at the door, ushering staff outside as well as those that have been injured from the current attack on the prison. She hurried them along, making sure everyone was getting out that was (unfortunately) authorized to leave the prison. She couldn't help the thoughts that wondered about those who were still inside and if the protocols set in such a situation were efficient to stand whatever it was that was attacking. The cold and heavy feeling still lingered and there was more too it, but she was uncertain what it meant and there was no time to sit and think on it. Safety was her goal.

She heard something crackle from nearby, an unnatural sound that made her turn, but instead of being ready to strike, the calling of her name brought some ease to a familiar face. Saul inquired if she knew what was happening and she shook her head, "Not entirely, but this not the place to delve into details, Jedi." she said glancing at one of the nurses who stopped, hoping to find out too, "Keep going, get to safety." she told the woman who complied. Saul rested a hand on her shoulder and there was something more than just a gesture of a companion or colleague. Feelings of pain raced through her, more were in need of help. He asked what they should do.

"We need to get the injured out," she frowned, "Get others to safety, lets make sure the infirmary is evacuated and then lets get to others." Thalia looked behind the last few staff, seeing no one else lingered behind. She waved to the pilot, raise three fingers and then giving a gesture they would be good to take off.

"They are set, c'mon." she said heading back into the building to state clear of any other personnel before joining Saul to help where they were needed.

It seemed these particular Jedi at least had some idea how to use the Force, even if they were using it in the wrong way. Calix sneered at the male Jedi's idea of a taunt, responding in kind through his mask's vocoder. "Come closer why dontcha, so I can even out that face of yours?" He seemed to get his wish, the Jedi pulling on the Champion through the Force in an attempt to pull him closer and off balance him, the other two sweeping aside his flying long-knives. Calix couldn't help but internally deride such a tame response, but it worked out just fine for him.

As he was pulled forward he lifted his feet off the ground and gently kept his balance with the Force, riding the pull, moving forward two meters before his boots touched the ground again in his ready stance. As the Jedi charged forward across the now ten meter distance the fingers of the Champion's left hand twirled, hand twisting, keeping control of his flying blades. The one that had been aimed at the Cathar (@Killa Ree ) had flown off to her right so Calix relinquished control of it for the moment and allowed it to clatter to the ground. The twi'lek's blade was barely deflected, and as she focused the force on the apprentice facing her it suddenly changed direction, arcing around her back at high speed, but unguided, at the cathar's side while the woman tried to sweep her opponent aside, aiming to tear deep into her ribcage.

Then there was the charging Jedi(@TWD26 . As he closed to dueling distance Calix drew the third of his four vibro long-knives, a standard point-up grip. When the Jedi swung using a wrap shot he stepped into the charging attack, his lightsaber up and to the right to block the weak upper third of the Jedi's lightsaber with the strong lower third of his own, negating both its momentum and its ability to wrap around his guard. At the same time as he stepped in, a sharp force-empowered hook punch was aimed at the Jedi's lower right side, a liver blow also charged with one burst's worth of Force Lightning. Unmitigated impact would likely result in a mix of severe pain, broken ribs, a ruptured liver, difficulty breathing, and significant electrocution with all it entails. He took advantage of the Jedi's forward momentum and open stance, his lightsaber arm likely preventing from guarding because of the swing and resulting saberlock.

Then there were the two apprentices. The one targeted by the cathar's wave rode his wave less gracefully than his master had, but it was enough for a moment, lifting off the ground and keeping himself upright. A surge of telekinetic power signified by a swing of his left arm took sudden control of Calix's abandoned vibroblade. From the cathar's right it spun near the ground, targeting her around the knees without being further guided, buzzing menacingly through the air to join the one targeting her torso in an attempt to maim her legs. The apprentice braced himself and impacted the wall behind him, the breath leaving his lungs but leaving him still conscious and more or less at the ready.

The second apprentice, the one targeted by the twi'lek(@WiffWaffs ) was pulled forward by the shoulders. Her left foot stepped forward and she grounded herself in the Force, leaving her somewhat off balance but still upright. Sheresponded by reaching out with the seething hate of the Dark Side and attempting to grip the twi'lek around her throat to squeeze the life out of her, but would cease this form of attack should the Jedi successfully resist.

The HUD of Balal's tie flashed with a pulsing peeping noise. Indicating the ship's targeting system locked onto the unarmed speeder. The knight fired as soon as he heard the noise. Watching in that flash of a second as the green bolts left the laser cannons. Striking the car in the rear and center. Causing the vehicle to explode and send shrapnel in all directions.

At the edge of that quick moment, he caught movement. "BG play back that impact." He demanded. The droid chirped with compliance, then pulled up last images of someone jumping away from the craft as it exploded. "A Mando ?" He said to himself. The question in his mind, how does a proud warrior end up fighting beside misguided law men. But the knight pushed the thought out of his mind, and few closer to the pad.

Knowing he could not land. He put the tie in a hover, just twenty feet above the deck. Then opened the eyeball like hatch. "BG take the ship hold here for now. If the prison brings air support break off an hide in the lower level. Wait for my signal" He ordered the droid. Then jumped from the ship. The echani dropped like a stone for ten feet before using the shadow of the force to slow himself. Landing on his feet.

As always, he was covered head to toe in his silver and black armor. His void black saber hilt in his left hand. With a flick of his thumb he activated the near meter long red blade. He held it before him and at waist level, ready to shield him from the rain of fire he expected to come. While he held his blade in his left hand, he gathered the shadow in his right. "Come out come out Mando." He said to himself once again.

Sol felt the push him squarely, and it sent him flying back and threw off the choke. So it was true. This man was betraying his own kind. He was turning his back on the Sith - on the Eternal - in their time of need. Rage and anger fueled within the Kel Dor as he skidded back, using the Force to balance himself as the younger Sith dashed towards him with his saber extended.

The Kel Dor struck out at once, lashing out with his own saber to arc it clockwise to bat the incoming strike towards Talak’s own left. This would put Sol on the external guard of the younger Sith, and Sol didn’t stop there, using Force to hasten his movements. He twisted around and brought his free left hand in to slam a force imbued strike into the man’s right hand where he gripped the saber. The goal would be to crush his fingers and potentially shatter the hilt.

Regardless of if the move worked or not, the Champion moved lightning quick to end up diagonally behind Talak’s right flank to prep for another attack. He was constantly aware of the second saber the man possessed, prepared to deflect if he changed trajectory to come whirling in with it.

With the tense situation mounting and the danger readily present Roland caught his breath. The blaster at his side quickly exited his holster, raised and pointed towards the ceiling while he waited in cover. Why can't it just be normal blaster thugs?

Exhaling to calm his nerves as a lack of laser cannon fire following the destruction of his airspeeder gave him pause as well. While he had confidence in his own ability there were powers at work that he did not quite understand. Supposedly his ancestors could handle a force wielder but this would be the first time Roland had fought one.

From behind the column he faced the warrior, the obstructing collumn keeping him out of view as he activated his magboots and walked vertically up to the ceiling, careful to keep the collumn between himself and the attacker as he moved upside down onto the ceiling. He hung suspended there for a moment but the audible hum of the lightsaber kept an obvious location of his enemy. Roland kept the line of sight of the attacker between him and where Roland had previously taken cover. His magboots kept him upside down while his free hand snagged his own cloak and kept him from showing his location. He was far enough away to avoid any directed attack at his previous position though he doubted the mystic dark sider would be able to target his position as it was.

The man called out to him, daring him yet recognizing him as a Mandalorian. He stay quiet for now, waiting for the man to get closer and pie off the corner. It was fine if he stayed out on the landing pad. That just meant he would not advance and join all his buddies inside. Tapping the controls on his wrist he began sending another communicae to the inside control center as well as relaying the information to Sector Ranger headquarters. "Sector Ranger Rook reporting, they have fighter support in the air. Take caution on approach. I think we might need military assets here." He relayed the information on the secure channels of the Sector Rangers and Free World Alliance open bands. Roland's voice was quiet, not wanting to alert the approaching criminal with his position based on sound as he had so carelessly done. Star fighters operating in Coruscant air space were a major issue. Probably enough to get the Free World Alliance to react. If this goader wanted to test his luck out in an open area he was welcome to. Roland would welcome whatever softening he could get. But for now he knew his own abilities and lack there of. The Mandalorian only went to the 'last resort' when it actually ended up being the last resort.

Oren's right arm locked into place as he felt the blade connect with the man's lightsaber, trapping them into place with a snap and a hiss. The man seemed to have skills in close quarter combat, and his assortment of blades was proof that he was surely a master, but so was he. He'd take a deep breath, Calm yourself, and focus..there is nothing, just the force. His nostrils would flair as his left eye shifted to see the champion's left hand begin to wind up for an attack.

With both of their right hands locked into combat and a speeding fast punch aiming towards the left side of his exposed body, Oren would quickly raise his own left hand, channeling the force through his fingers as he sent a hard foce push towards the center of the man's exposed solar plexus, a direct hit would knock him back and cause him to feel the air escape his lungs with a gasp, at the least it would interrupt the man from landing the devastating blow against his liver by pushing him back enough and prepare his blade in a defensive stance, his right foot slightly forward and his blade positioned to defend his body. I cannot fail, not now.

She moved swiftly as the first blade came towards her torso, taking a nimble small leap back to avoid and narrowly missing the one clumsily tossed at her knees as well. The interruption to her own Force Push meant the apprentice was not as disabled as she'd hoped, but he was probably winded; she instead used the same movement of shoving the apprentice to manipulate the blade slung towards her knees to slingshot back with the Force towards the apprentice, intent to skewer him into the wall through his heart. The other blade aimed at her torso was flung by its' own momentum to crash into the opposite wall as she barely missed being skewered.

She still held her blade at the ready if even that wasn't enough, prepared to attack or defend as necessary against the apprentice.

Luckily, the apprentice was still a good twenty meters away and needed more concentration in order to choke the Twi'lek. Riz'kacha's resistance to the force choke came in the form of a localized force push aimed directly at the woman's liver, hoping to manipulate the force around her to propel into her rather sharply in the form of a faux punch. At the very least, the push would disrupt the woman's concentration, and leave the Twi'lek un-choked. Remembering what Mila had taught her, Riz'kacha began to take steps backwards, not wanting to get too close and remembering the importance of keeping on her feet.

She didn't see an end to the fight coming soon, and with the Sith Champion getting close, she knew that remaining here was a death sentence if she did it for too much longer. She had to keep a very close eye on the man. As was common with Jedi in a combat zone, the force was prepared to alert her to immediate dangers, and if the danger from the man grew, she'd know. That was the hope, at least.

The knight reached out with the shadow. Expanding his senses to feel or hear for his enemy. The sounds of battle and city alarms filled the air. Yet as he focused, he could feel the Mandalorian. His life force, his fear, his courage. His resolve. The warrior was hidden behind cover, using the pillar to shield him. He could feel him somewhere behind that stone. But nothing close to exact.

The mando made no move to peak out from his cover. Perhaps intending on laying a trap. So Balal would take the pillar out of the equation. With another flick of his thumb the knight extended his blade another meter. Slowly walking toward the pillar, careful to keep it between himself and the mando, as long as the enemy felt to do the same. Then with a stroke of the blade he cut the bottom of the pillar. Then leaped upward, cutting the middle and again near the top, before landing again.

As he landed he returned the weapon back to his normal length. He then focused on the pillar. His rage and hate building inside of him, connecting to the shadow. Finally, he shot his right hand up and forward. Releasing a blast of power that would blast into and through the pillar. Shattering it into huge rocks and cast them backward with the force blast. In effect using the force to create a kind of large claymore improvised explosive. Not lethal, sadly. But hopefully damaging as it robbed him of his cover.

Apparently, the excitement of the battle had everyone mingling together except Roan. She was the girl no one picked to play ball with. What a sad day for the murderous Sith Champion. She drew her lightsaber to her right hand, allowing it to ignite in case she needed to defend herself, although still no one noticed her.

She walked forward, watching the battles around her unfold. Everyone was busy, which meant she had the pick of the litter. The purr-fect advantage. She wasn't kitten around when she spotted the kitty cat lady (@Nashyr Ris). Roan happened to like cats, she'd buried many in her childhood, along with dozens of other small furry animals.

Roan approached the kitty cat lady's (@Nashyr Ris) right side diagonally, not behind her but closer to her back and further from her front so the Sith was mostly was out of view. She stopped about 5m away, close but not in the line of fire of anything. And while the kitty cat lady (@Nashyr Ris) was mid-leap, avoiding the blade being tossed at her and focused on the apprentice, Roan poured all of her deep seeded hatred and anger into a wide stream of Force lightning. If not stopped, it would crash violently into the kitty cat from knees to shoulder, wrecking through her body full force. Roan did not hold back when she fought, she wanted nothing but to kill.

Her apprentices were busy placing bombs while they were also being ignored, and moving deeper into the prison.

Ender kept his advance and the cell door didn't hit his target as he intended and fired his blaster at him in response. But Hannibal's aim wouldn't be as true as he intended with him blocking the lightning and moving to alter his angle of fire as well. The bolts would go wider than intended and Ender would simply lean his body a different direction, letting them soar past him. He wasn't going to let his opponent keep firing upon him again though.

When he was about to unleash another pair of bolts, the gun would suddenly and viciously be turned to the right with his finger still in the trigger guard. It had enough force behind it to break his index finger if it remained in there as it would be completely twisted back and if it didn't do that, it at least should have an effect on his aim so that it would either hit the wall or something else besides him. Instantly after that, the gun would be attempted to be yanked from his grasp in a smooth motion while it would be loose from the force and thrown behind Ender's shoulder and down the other end of the hallway to remove it from the equation.

To ensure that Hannibal couldn't focus on keeping a grip on his blaster, Ender used the force as well to enhance his movements and dash forward and toward the Jedi, as he did the twist and pull against the blaster. He had been advancing the entire time and with the man also taking a step forward to avoid a whole-cell door it made the distance shorter then he thought, at least enough it could be closed. Ender's blade would be thrust with a firm grip towards the Jedi's stomach when there was nearly two meters between them, nearly at the end of the blade's reach to make the strike faster and occupy his opponent while also keeping a "safe" enough distance between them with some space.

The battle started to rage on as jedi, dark siders and rangers killed each other, of course, just like Roan, he didn't have anyone to play with, not yet at least, seemed like their forces were too much for them to handle. However, that was just fine, seeing how someone had to take care of the main objective, securing Ender while leaving as little evidence as possible, that one would have to be Jerex.

That's when Jerex realized something, the cameras, there were cameras in the prison, weren't there? Cameras that could be used to monitor their every single move, Jerex was sure such information wouldn't get out of here after they were done with the prison, but, even so, such information was still important in battle. Jerex called upon the force, zapping every single camera he could see with just enough lightning to be destroyed, trying to blind the enemy as best as he could.

Of course, he wasn't just focusing on that, no he was doing that as he was following Roan's apprentices, lightsaber in hand and ready to defend them while they did the important task of creating a path. If anyone tried to strike them down, they would have to defeat one of the knights of Ren first.

Thalia was right, things were too chaotic now to try and figure things out. They needed to stick to task and that was getting people out, at least for now. Though he’d managed to land after the evacuation had already gotten in full swing.

Helping wave the last few people through to the ships out the back, Saul watched as staff made it up and away. If nothing else those lives would be spared today’s violence. And amidst all this, what more could be asked?

It was that fact exactly though that meant they both needed to go back inside. As Thalia waved them back in, Saul followed at speed. One didn’t even need the Force now to find the violence, the sounds of battle ringing clear through the building now the explosions had died down. And it was to those they needed to head, make sure any who remained inside got to safety. And if they could help stop it, then by all means they would have to do that too. Whether they could was the real question however,

Skkk-bhrk, his rebreather cracked as they whipped through,

“Whatever could have done all this... I don’t like what we’re going to find” Saul spoke back to Thalia as they passed their way through, igniting his lightsaber in his left hand.

It’s not as if there was a lack of hotspots within. Following the sounds and senses in the Force, it wasn’t hard to make quick pace toward the centre of it all. And the darkness was alive therein.

Coming round the corner to the great conflagration, dark siders fought Jedi in a great clash. Master Zapan, Nashir, Riz all squared up against powerful darksiders. From his appearance from the rear, he was able to get a decent view of the field, coming out behind the Jedi. But what caught his attention at that first moment was a leaping light from a woman’s hand (@Roan Ees) shooting out toward Nashir. He had to act.

In a moment he reached out with the Force and gripped her intensely, spinning her arms so they shot not at Nashir but at the apprentice that attacked Nashir head on, and simultaneously slammed the woman shooting it back against the wall to try and daze her. If the lightning kept going it’d obliterate the apprentice, and if not hopefully Nashir’s attack would end them anyhow.

His lightsaber remained up to block any reprisals. Saul wasn’t even sure if they could win this day, but he damn well wasn’t going to let his allies die here either.
