Wherever they might’ve been, Sith across the Galaxy would receive the transmission originating from Mustafar. It began with the crimson insignia of their Order, fading to reveal the masked visage of Darth Tempest standing at the base of her throne. It was the first time since Junction that the Dark Lord had addressed the entirety of her followers, and it was for no small matter that she opted to do so now.
“Disciples of the Sith,” She began, her voice mechanized and modulated by the mask she wore. “I stand before you now to address a flagrant assault against our kind.” The transmission briefly cut away from the visage of Darth Tempest, revealing an aerial view of Mustafar and Fortress Vader. For the first time, members of the Order would see several outer fortifications that had been destroyed and heavily damaged by aerial assault, with minor damages to the Obsidian spire of the fortress. The shattered remnants of Starfighters and Sith battle droids littered the Gahenn Plains, the only indication of the battle that had briefly occurred.
“Our citadel of Mustafar has been assaulted - struck by unknown assailants, who wish to destroy what is rightfully ours.” The transmission flicked back to Tempest, her featureless mask fixed straight back into the camera. “Let me be known that they have unequivocally failed - and every sentient involved in this assault has been systematically eliminated.” Even still, the deeper implication of the attack wouldn’t be lost on those listening. Their recapture of Mustafar wasn’t widely known, and it spoke to a leak of information within their inner ranks. "They have achieved nothing."
“All Sith facilities are to operate on high alert - vigilant against any subsequent attack.” If Mustafar was strikable, then so were based on Zeltros, Thule, Umbara and elsewhere.
“The perpetrators will not remain at large,” Whether it was the Empire, Jedi or someone else entirely - Starfighter parts and Nav-computers would be analyzed for a place of origin to be determined. The Inquisitorious would be hard at work to locate those responsible, even if they chose to hide within their very ranks.
“I assure you,” Tempest continued, “That those responsible for this brazen attack - no matter who they are - will be requited in kind.” The transmission lingered for only a few seconds longer before fading back to the insignia of the Sith Order, and cutting out entirely.
