Ash Valentine
FACTION: Jedi Order
RANK: Knight
SPECIES: Human
HOMEWORLD: Vardos
AGE: 25
HEIGHT: 6'3
WEIGHT: 204 LBS
Force Sensitive: Yes

Biography: Born on Vardos, Ash was part of a family with deep connections to the Five Syndicates. He however grew up relatively normal, though surrounded by friends and family who were part of very dangerous operations and were connected to some very dangerous people. They dealt in everything from drugs, to guns, to people. They were smugglers and con-men, pirates and murderers. But they were his friends, his family. So he did nothing, reported no one even though he knew what they were doing was wrong and despicable.

None of this particularly affected Ash prior to a shootout in which he was caught between his family and a rival gang. At fourteen he was skimmed by a blaster bolt, which rocketed just past his face burning off most of the skin and muscle in and around his cheek, leaving his teeth visible and his right eye blinded. He doesn't know which side of the fight shot him, whether it was friend or foe. His face was beyond repair, and he couldn't afford the tremendously expensive treatments to even begin to attempt to repair the damage.

So, embittered towards life and all things in general, he left. He wandered the stars for three years, before arriving at Ajan Kloss, looking to see the fabled new Jedi temple. There, he discovered his sensitivity to the force, and despite initial misgivings about the supposed space wizards, joined their order. From there he embarked on a journey of personal healing, eventually reaching the rank of Jedi Knight.

Personality: Ash might be described as sullen, and despite slowly healing from the emotional damage the wound to his face had caused, he is still a generally bitter man. Though perhaps that is also because of where he spends his time. He learned the technique of force healing with the hopes it could heal his face, but finding that even the force couldn't do it, he decided to put the knowledge to use anyway and traveled the galaxy to war torn sites and assisted in hospitals and battlefields.

Though often this is at the exclusion of all else. He never remembers to relax or 'turn off' so his mental state suffers for it. He is constantly around atrocity and failure, and people's initial reaction when they first look at his face does nothing for his esteem. He is a stressed workaholic who has seen far too much already.

Abilities: Force Heal, Telekinesis, Trained Paramedic.

Possesions: Orange Curved Hilt Lightsaber, First Aid Kit, Power 5 Blaster Pistol

The DG.7 heavy blaster was missing its Advanced prefix at launch so that's probably why you missed it. You should probably find some other blaster.

My only real question is why Vardos would still have remained loyal to Imperial propaganda after being targeted so viciously by Operation Cinder following the Battle of Endor?

Same way there are still Nazi's or any extremists about. They forget, or they are too indoctrinated to understand that what had happened was wrong. While the government might have have known what had happened, the people themselves might have simply blamed the government of Vardos for the problem, as people are want to do in real life. They would simply say that the Empire would never do that, so it must be the regional governors that are the problem. Also, who's to say what kind of information was leaked out. The Empire could have just pinned the blame on the terrorist Rebellion. Something that if the populace was already loyal to the Empire would probably believe.

(Also I didn't read Operation cinder when I found the planet stub, just read 'considered an Imperial utopia' and said Perfect thats what I want.)

I PM'd you on Discord, but I really think you should choose a different planet or just drop the fanatical Imperial vibe in general. We're 130 years following the collapse of the Empire, a planet that was nearly destroyed by them isnt going to turn around and love them in that time. There honestly wouldn't be very much pro-Imperial sentiment on a planet/system wise basis at this point of galactic history. Thatd be like the Alderaanian survivors turning New Aldera into an Imperial bastion.

Edited as suggested and how we discussed on discord, is it all right if he is still from Vardos?

Vardos is fine, the only thing you need to tweak is the Anti-Imperial space wizards line.
