Given the day-to-day actions and mindset of Arden Kryze, one might expect him to have grown up on some seedy, horrid slum rather than in a Mandalorian Tribe...this is exactly the case.

He was born on Corellia, in the slums of Coronet City. He was forced to grow up quick and hard when his father died in a gang attack, forcing him and his mother to make ends meet. He tried his hardest to help her, but while not even a teenager, there was little he could do honestly. So he resorted to what every other kid was doing: becoming a thieving little skug. But unlike the other kids, he wasn't very good at it. He got caught more times than not, got beat up and would come home with some fresh new bruises multiple times a week...sometimes daily. But with those bruises he realized his talent. He was damn good at taking punishment and dishing it back out. So as he grew older, he became a better fighter.

At the age of 14, though, disaster struck. His mother's drug addiction got worse and worse, and eventually it broke her. She came at him while suffering from severe withdrawal, both berating him for being a disappointment as well as demanding he give her another fix. The argument escalated and she attacked him, forcing him to defend himself. The fight ended with a knife in his mother's throat and her blood on his hands. Scarred and rattled, he fled from his home and lived on the streets. He made a living off stealing, fighting, grand theft auto, and even murder in a few cases. The only person that he cared for was himself.

One day, at the age of 16, he tried to steal from the wrong person. The speeder belonged to a Mandalorian...who quickly caught up to him. A fight ensued with the Mandalorian trying to get his speeder back and Arden trying to fight off the Mandalorian. The speeder crashed and they were in a hand-to-hand fight. Of course, he was no match for the Mandalorian, but he managed to put up quite a decent fight. After the fight, they exchanged words which escalated into the Mandalorian giving him the option of accompanying him as a foundling. Seeing the opportunity for a future, he didn't hesitate for a second.

As the years progressed, Arden joined the Mandalorian lifestyle. His training got better and he was given a home and family. To show his gratitude he worked hard to repay his new family for the kindness...unfortunately, with his broken mind and rough childhood, that involved some very questionable actions. To put his borderline nihilistic view to good use, he became a mercenary.

Now he roams the galaxy, doing whatever work he can to get resources. These resources gets sent back to his Tribe...though how he acquires them he keeps to himself.

For the most part, Arden is easy going and casual with an air of confidence around him that seems to never waver. He likes to think on his feet and seems to be rather relaxed in almost any situation. But, of course, this can always change if the situation requires it. If things get serious, he can be focused, precise and relentless. He also keeps a cool head as much as possible, knowing that losing one's nerve in a firefight can be extremely dangerous.

He is, for the most part, indifferent over the lives of others. He has no issue when bolts start to fly and explosions start going off. While he prefers to keep collateral damage low, it's not a bother to him if people die while "getting in the way". This cold characteristic has earned him a small reputation of being slightly psychotic or nihilistic.

He has a very strong sense of duty. When hired to do a job, he will work with a relentless drive to succeed and accomplish the mission to the best of his abilities. Though, he is also quite an opportunist, not having an issue turning on a deal or agreement if it means a better outcome for him, his people or those he cares about. And while having little regard for people's lives, he won't easily turn away a person in need of help...especially in a situation caused by him. His desire to help his fellow Mandalorians is what drives him every day. While his questionable code of morals and honour don't exactly fit him as a Mandalorian, his unwavering loyalty to his people and those he cares for, does.

He has a tendency to not always think things through and to simply rush head first into things...often resulting with him getting neck-deep in trouble and having to quickly think of something to rectify the situation.

With blasters he is very accurate, both with a rifle and a pistol. Though the pistol is by far his preferred weapon to go into a fight with. He was also taught to take care of his gear, so stripping and working on the weapons is easy for him. With hand-to-hand he is proficient with a tendency to fight dirty. In terms of piloting, he can hold his own in a dogfight though he tries to stay out of them as much as possible. He is also proficient with explosives in case he needs to make something go up in flames. A nice skill to have for ambushes.

Outside of combat he learned a few odd skills here and there. He is a decent Slicer in order to break into buildings to find his targets. He also learned some first aid in case he needed to quickly patch up a wound on the fly. He also learned to maintain his possessions so he is a decent mechanic as well. His years of being a mercenary and working with seedy individuals also helped him learn a plethora of languages to allow him to understand and speak the common dialects in the galaxy. His mentor also finished teaching him how to read and write, and Vince has a sharp mind.
