DESCRIPTION
The Antelope-class shuttle, commonly referred to as simply the Rebel shuttle, is a utility spacecraft developed by the Hyrotii Corporation. Although initially offered for civilian sale, the type has found a number of military and paramilitary customers as well; of not, large numbers of these craft are operated by the Galactic Alliance, which acquired them through various third parties and back-room deals.

The Antelope is a basic craft, able to carry up to 30 tons of cargo in addition to 2 crew and 6 passengers. It is equipped with a class 6 hyperdrive, light deflector shields and a dual light laser cannons on a forward flex mount. Consumables can last the crew up to a standard week, and amenities are basic but adequate for a voyage of this duration. Maneuverability is average for a ship of its size, and top speed is about 50 MGLT.

The Antelope is well liked by its crews, and is standard equipment for many Rebel capital ships and bases. Although not especially useful in a fight, they are well made, reliable and versatile.

LEGALITY
Legal. The Antelope-class shuttle, though its is used by military forces, has no features precluding it from civilian sale.

INTENT
To create a standard shuttle for use by Jedi and Rebel forces.

ADVANCED TECH
No. Antelope-class shuttles are fairly standard designs, and not inordinately hard to get hold of.
