The fact that Vizim didn't really know why he had come to Ziost was what bothered him the most. He was looking for something that he couldn't put into words. He was looking for answers to questions he hadn't yet asked. He wanted something and he didn't know what. For a man as driven as he was, that was intolerable and infuriating. His hand clenched at his side as he walked up the pathway between the rock formations.

Stories told that Ziost had once been a temperate world, but that the powers of the Sith and corruption of the Dark Side had twisted the very atmosphere. Unlike the twin worlds that had been turned to desert, Ziost had been turned to a frozen world. Though a few trees or plants still managed to grow, it was nothing compared to what it had allegedly once been. He was certain the Jedi would have said there was a lesson to be learned there, but lessons were only as useful as the receptiveness of the learner.

The trail - which on any other world would have been overgrown by foliage after 1000 years - was still clear of all but snow and ice. The Republic and the Jedi had stripped it of anything useful long ago, but the remnants of old buildings still remained. He doubted any of them would have answers for him, but the answers were as likely to come from inside him as from without. But the Force had drawn him here for a reason, and he would find it.

Look at what we’ve got here...
Chysim Reech looked down the scope of his Cycler Rifle, but kept his clawed finger off the trigger, while he examined Vizim from his spot on a cliff side around two hundred-ish meters away from Vizim. Behind the Trandoshan was his U-wing he was too lazy to name.
There wasn’t much point to it. It was just like every other generic U-wing.

Chysim had come to Ziost to be alone. No other reason to be there other than to maybe hunt around a bit and relax again. He liked the cold more than he did the warmth so there was more reason to be here than one of the other nearby planets. But the Bounty Hunter had no idea why the newer figure had come to Ziost. They looked almost lost. Like they new they were supposed to be here but didn’t know where to go once they got here. Maybe they were like Chysim and just wanted to be left alone for a bit.

Makes sense to me. Chysim continued to watch the stranger from his cliff and began examining what was on their person. Chysim was no cold-hearted killer. He was just curious and cautiously optimistic.

Among the many hills and rocks of this world, Vizim didn't spot the Trandoshan far away. The darkness of the world that swirled all around him obscured the presence of another person, so the hunter continued on over the crest of the hill and down the other side.

The crunching of snow under his feet and the chill biting at his face were his only company as he walked over to his left. There was a long-abandoned track for some sort of elevated cargo tram. He decided it was as good as anything to follow. Perhaps ruins of the ancient Sith or nothing at all would be at the end.

The stupid Jedi had long ago looted most of the old Sith sites. Vizim - for reasons he still couldn't put his finger on - had begun to take interest in them. He shook his head. He hated this mystic, destiny crap. The Force was powerful, and maybe it even had a plan, but he wasn't going to waste his life trying to divine what that was. Others could do that. He'd always been a man of action, but action needed motivation.

He walked below the tram line, unknowingly walking in the direction of the Trandoshan hiding among the rocks.

Where are you off to? Chysim wondered while he continued to spy from his perch among the rocks. The Trandoshan Hunter understood that Ziost was an old Forcewielder planet, but he didn’t care for the Force or the Jedi- let alone the Sith. All he cared about was getting paid so he could eat and afford gas for his U-wing.

You’re lucky I’m not after your head- It would’ve had a hole or two in it by now. Reech grumbled and set his gun down, as he could still see the figure from his position just fine. He sighed and got up, exposing himself from his hiding spot, gave the figure one last look before heading back to his U-wing.

It seemed that every system he visited to be alone was filled with other bothersome visitors. Chysim decided it was a sign, or something, telling him to get back to work. So, after he entered his starship, he began looking over his map to see if there was anywhere he could get a decent bounty.
Taris is under attack- I wonder who pays more. Sith or Jedi? Probably Sith. But they’re more likely to kill me if I make a minor mistake. Jedi probably pay good too- but then the Guild would think I was choosing sides. Heh, they would think that either way. Better to stay out of the way from those killer glow sticks and let them kill each other.
So Taris is a no-go.
Hm...

There were many other sectors looking for work. Saleucami was still hiring to get rid of Nexues, but Chysim wanted to go somewhere he didn’t already know a ton about.
Like Geonosis- but who the hell wants to go there?...Well...me actually.

Heheh.
