Angar Thorn was a male Zabrak Dark Jedi and former Sith who became a criminal in the Crimson Dawn syndicate. He began his criminal career as an enforcer and drug cook for Crimson Dawn after disagreements with the Sith Eternal's imperialization drove him to leave the Sith in search of his own path to power. While Angar continued to embrace the dark side of the Force, he determined to use it for his own enrichment and empowerment rather that shackle himself to the religious beliefs of either the Sith or Jedi Orders.

Angar began his criminal career as an average enforcer in the Crimson Dawn, hunting down Forceful artifacts across the galaxy for the organization. Soon after, he discovered a natural talent for chemistry and alchemy and used both to become a low-tier drug cook for the organization. The discovery of this skill birthed ambition in Angar to forge his own criminal empire with himself at the very top.

BIOGRAPHY

The Sith were meant to seek individual power. Not collective. Every time the Sith became an empire they fell. The last Empire should have served as an example of that. Alas, an Empress has risen and claimed the fiefdoms of the other Lords for herself. They bowed to her, and gelded the Sith in so doing. The Empire's fall is not a matter of if, but when. And Angar Thorn need not be part of it.

There is some kinship between them—between Angar and the Empress. Both have Dathomir in their blood. But that is the end of their kinship. When it was clear the Sith had no desire to fight for their own power, Angar left the Order to pursue power his own way. He was a nobody at the time. One of a countless number of Marauders who hoped one day to be a Lord. Well, if he could not be a Lord of the Sith, he could become a lord of something else.

The Crimson Dawn also had kinship with the Sith. Legends spoke of the Dark Lord Maul who founded Crimson Dawn out of a cave on Dathomir. Maul's disappearance greatly weakened Crimson Dawn, but it was still one of the Five Syndicates. Maybe there, he could forge for himself something he could not have ever forged within the Sith Empire. He would be an enforcer for a time. But the criminal underworld was never set in stone. Crime lords rose and fell and left vacuous space in their absence. He needed only wait for an opportunity and seize it.

Then he could taste power only he himself could wield...

ABILITIES

Angar Thorn is trained first and foremost as a Sith warrior giving him a Marauder's skill over the Force and with a lightsaber. His weapon of choice is a saberstaff with a pair of orange blades. When not in use, the weapon is typically used as a walking stick or cane. It is implied that the kyber crystals that power this saber are not the same as the red ones he used as a Sith Marauder but are newly acquired to signify his new life as a crime lord aspirant.

As a former Sith, he has some expertise in Sith lore and artifacts that is beneficial to Crimson Dawn. However, his most useful skill to the syndicate is his knowledge of chemistry and Sith alchemy that allows him to work as a talented drug cook. His aspiration is to use this talent to forge his own criminal drug cartel one day.
