Amulet of Glamour

Description

The Amulet of Glamour is a Sith artifact that was created and enchanted by the Sith Master Vex under the guidance of the Empress Darth Andruil. It is an artifact based on the Empress' Amulet of Disguise, serving similar purposes.

Effects

Upon activation (which can be done by simply touching the pendant), the amulet is capable of generating a realistic illusion that encompasses the wearer and the wearer only.

When activated, the illusion is capable of disguising its wearer by altering many of their physical attributes. It can change their eyes, hair, skin color, and clothing, permitting them to walk about in public without being recognized as their true selves. It can also alter their presenting species so long as that species is humanoid or anatomically comparable to a human — it cannot alter the size, shape, or weight of the wearer. The amulet can only hold a single illusionary enchantment at a time. A new one can be programmed in a matter of minutes, provided the wearer has access to the Force.

Intent

Site Lore. The first of many artifacts created by the Sith witch @Vex in this thread. It is mainly meant to allow her to enter threads and socials without being recognized as @Nahri Nalju. It also allows her to not have to wear her bulky armor every time she wants to be Sith-y.

So as always, I really like your articles and you've done a very nice job. But after some consideration, in its current state I think the amulet is too powerful.

For instance, circumventing the main drawbacks such as you've done here (it can't be detected through the force, nearly impossible to remove) bring it into the same power sphere of Shi'ido transformation for example - which were banned almost specifically for their shapeshifting qualities even with similar nerfs as you've presented.

The amulet Andruil wears with its weaknesses is sort of the stock standard of how an artifact like this should work. So if you drop off the enchantments to bring it more in line with that one, I can approve it.
