Spoilers, of course.

Haven't seen any conversation on this episode, which I enjoyed. Overall, this was a good episode. Gonna list a few things that stuck out to me, and interesting tid-bits.

  • Internal disputes between Rex and the Rebels. This shows a good chance that Rex could end up teaching the Rebels a trick or two. This opens up another opportunity for Ezra and Kanan to learn more of the Jedi, through a firsthand account.
  • The Inquisitor was identified as 'The Grand Inquisitor', which shows some potential internal conflict within the Inquisitors, which we now know is a hierarchical, established group. Getting the vibe that he has not been replaced yet, and other Inquisitors are setting their sights on the rebels to gain traction in the race for that title.
  • Sarah Michelle Geller as the new female inquisitor, Seventh Sister. Mixed feelings on if this is Bariss Offree still. Her knowledge of Ahsoka makes me feel she is her, but the different voice actor throws me off. Maybe they learned from their mistakes with trying to hide Fulcrum's voice actor?
  • Expansion of canon force powers; Seemed like the Seventh Sister was using some sort of Force-based torture, or maybe attempts at a bastardized Mind Trick on Ezra. Also, interesting note to me; The Force Pull she used during the get away scene had a 'tug-of-war' effect, in which she was pulled by the Force.
  • New droid type. Mini probe droids.
  • Sabine's graffiti holds a sort of 'Squatters' significance? Maybe a symbol to show that the are had been looted? Not sure why she did it, ideas? Trivial mention.
  • Gregor and Wolffe stayed behind? Shame. Or maybe they are in another part of the Rebel organization. Too early to tell if they're going to play anymore relevance into the story.
  • Still want to know what the hell species the Fifth Brother is. Unnamed species is a pet peeve of mine, as a Wookieepedia editor.

SPOILERS

I don't get the Barris Offee connection, to be honest. Those are tattoos on their face are there for a purpose in their society, not very easy to remove (then again this is SW). I could buy her being a Mirilian though. iF SHE SO happenes to be Barris though I wouldn't mind it either. I think the Inquisitors we see now are the weaker of the bunch, there's still 4 more we haven't seen for sure, not to mention any other Inquisitors there might be (I'm thinking 10 max). But I think this ties in to the new Episode 7 movie. I think the Inquisitors could be tied/related to the Knights of Ren in some way (Kylo in particular) and I think Vader uses them as tools and maybe to groom his next Apprentice to take over once he kills the Emperor (similar to the Starkiller plot from the old canon).

The grafiti honestly I think it's just them showcasing how much Sabine really enjoys her counter-propoganda and maybe it'll be a sign for future would-be rebels to find the actual rebels? Maybe it'll come back to bite the Rebels in the butt one day. I'm curious about the new force powers too, the interrigations, the force pull (I notivced the tug), and ALSO Ezra "learning" to understand the droid - maybe this also ties in to the Force??? Anakin and Luke seemed to be the only ones (in my knowledge) to understand the droids binary bleps and whatnot. Overall one of my favorite episodes thus far and build pretty good on the previous mini-clone arc. I just wish it was a little less on the kiddy-physical humor at times (see: Zeb stuck in the shaft, Ezra hitting himself after telling Zeb to be more careful, etc) but it's on DisneyXD, so it has to have some kiddy quality to it. Overall though I'm excited for season 2, for sure.

The idea that there is a large, unknown organization hunting the Rebels makes for a very strong potential arc. I enjoyed the Mirialan Inquisitor way more than the triangle head. I don't know too much about the plot for the upcoming movie, so I can't really give any input on how I feel it may tie in. Hope it does though.

Another small question in the back of my head; How did Seventh Sister know to wait for them there? Is Wolffe possibly still betraying? Maybe the data the Probe droid gathered on the AT-TE included the list, and perhaps this isn't the only one that is a trap. But the Imperial Officers seemed kinda unaware of it, if that is the case.

I thought the episode was OK. The escape plot was pretty dumb. But I also like the Seventh Sister, and thought it set up the stakes well enough, particularly in the final scene once Kanan, Hera, and Rex learned that there were more Inquisitors after them.

I also enjoy the arc that they're setting up between Kanan, Ezra, and Rex. It shows Ezra learning from multiple mentors, with Kanan still being his core one, and therefore becoming a different kind of Jedi. Rex is also in the next episode, training Ezra a bit, so I'm glad to see that continue. Rex is already in this show a lot more than I expected him to be. I didn't think he'd be a presence on the Ghost, but if they keep things up the way they are then I'll be glad he is.

They are showing a lot of stuff we saw from the Clone Wars series like the medical station, that clone base on the asteroid, the head of a CIS tactical droid and I've seen my fair share of other stuff too. I like all the references, gives me that nostalgic feeling

I enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed both of the new inquisitors, particularly the seventh sister. I thought they were both more interesting than the initial inquisitor personally, and have the potential to be enjoyable characters throughout the rest of the series.

I also noticed the tug of war style Force pull which was interesting in my opinion. I'm not familiar personally with it being portrayed that way before.

Just realized it too, the title is a reference to Episode One, at Qui-Gon's funeral.

I enjoyed it. Wish there could have been more cat and mouse rather than the dumb escape plot they did. Also not sure how I like lightsabers deflecting ship weapons, but eh. Overall good episode.

I noticed the lightsaber deflecting ship lasers too and kind of face-palmed a little bit. I'm just going go out on a limb and guess that won't fly in the RP :P

SPOILERS!

Best Quote from the Ep: "As pretty as you are, I only need you alive. That doesn't mean in one piece."

Loving the Seventh Sister. And while I don't quite get the theory behind her being Bariss, it would make for some epic tension for the duel we know is coming. They're kinda fooling around with the teasing too. Was it just me or did she cringe when she said the Jedi of old are dead? She's also namedropping the fuck out of Ahsoka. Its like SHES the primary focus, not the other rebels. Seventh Sisters kind of like a mix of Assaj Ventress and Dark Ahsoka for me. It works. XD

It was in one of TCW's episodes when Anakin was fighting those spindly Separatist gun-platform droids. It fired volleys of BFG lasers at him and hie bounced them back.
