Sluis Van had been put in a state of alert ever since the Bogan had been failed to take over Fondor. Powerful Dark Jedi members had been placed in key positions. For instance, in Sluis Van Shipyards, the upper Bogan command had deployed people to guard key critical areas such as the generators, etc. In addition to that, just like in Eriadu, the Bogan had increased border patrols, and its considerable forces had been put in a state of alert. To put it simply the Bogan were getting prepared for any attack, whether it was from the Sith or from any other major or minor power.

Vaxvesh, having fought in the Battle of Fondor knew that the battle had been the biggest failure in his military career. He therefore needed to redeem himself, and he had therefore had increased his efforts during his work in the Cartel. He had not forgotten though where his true loyalties lied, and Vaxvesh had stepped up his efforts in terms of training other Dark Jedi Apprentices. Under his alias, Samar Zinthoni, the Dark Jedi had trained many apprentices in what he knew about the force.

"Welcome to Sluis Van." he stated. Vaxvesh had been here before when he helped the Bogan infiltrate Sluis Van in order to take over the planet's government. He hadn't returned though in a while so he was quite happy to return. Today though, he wasn't going to see how the planet was doing.

Vaxvesh had made sure that a room be preserved for Anthoni and Arali in order for them to participate in the telekinesis class. He had made sure that weights also be ordered, and he particularly made sure for them to be quite heavy. "Are you ready?" he stated, awaiting their response.

Anthoni walked side by side of the Twi'lek women he had fought with not three weeks prior. Today the pair of apprentices would learn the first steps of telekinesis and with some luck get a better understanding of how it is done. "I don't believe we have officially met, my name is Anthoni and yours is?" He waited for the women to respond and when she told him her name he simply smiled. The two were quickly approaching the door to the training room, perhaps it was because they both were eager to learn. This would be the third lesson Samar would teach Anthoni, starting with the Code then lightsaber combat and now telekinesis, in a way Anthoni was starting to respect the Zebrak.

When they reached the door Anthoni said "Allow me." Anthoni did try to be the gentleman from time to time and as he held the door open for the Twi'lek she entered and Anthoni immediately after her. When he walked inside the door Anthoni found Samar standing there in the middle of the room with different size weights on either side of him."Welcome to Sluis Van. Are you ready?" He spoke in that familiar Zebrak voice of his, Anthoni simply nodded his head and said "Ready when you are."

He stood up straight and looked at Samar, Anthoni was eager to begin this exercise.

((Hm... SWRP seems to refuse to alert me whenever someone tags me in a post. I'll have to ask a mod about that at some point. I'll try and get a post up for the sparring thread tomorrow morning, because it's currently 1 am here already and I'm tired. I wanted to at least get this one up, though))

Walking beside the human boy, the tattooed apprentice seemed somewhat lost in her own thoughts. Her face had a slightly glazed over look about it, eyes looking down as she walked mindlessly. Inwardly, Arali was preparing herself for what was to come. The Zabrak was more capable than she had originally given it credit for, and as such she would make use of those capabilities, learning everything she could from Samar before discarding him for someone more suitable. Today she looked forward to learning more about telekinesis. She'd made use of it in the sparring session with the Zabrak a few weeks ago, but her attempts had not been anywhere near as successful as she would have liked.

The voice of the boy beside her brought her out of her distracted silence. "Arali," she said in response, letting a sweetness slip into her voice that she didn't feel. She was going to be learning with him, so she may as well get herself on good terms with the boy for the time being. After all, even other students were useful for learning from and with. Even if all she got out of him was what not to do it would be worth the effort. So she spoke in a sweet voice and put on a sweet smile as she glanced at him. She didn't care if her intentions were completely obvious. At the end of the day it didn't honestly matter if he knew what she was playing at or not.

Walking through the door opened for her by the human boy - which she noted with a nod in his direction - Arali took up her position in the room, watching her Zabrak teacher intently as she did so. Even before she finished getting into position she was doing her usual thing. She loosened her hold on her roiling emotions, giving them a little more slack to reign free while still keeping in control of them. She immersed herself immediately in the Dark Side of the Force, letting her passions be tainted, twisted and turned from whatever they were before into nothing but pure hatred, fury and fear. These, to her, were the three most powerful emotions one could access, and Arali made liberal use of them. She didn't yet try and shape and form them into the blade of power they would eventually become. Right now all she wanted to do was feel them flowing through her so that she knew they were there. Right now she was simply letting them build and grow in strength as she awaited the beginning of the lesson.

Samar could sense that Arali wished to learn from him only for her to become more powerful. The Dark Jedi Initiate however, had used the force for decades, and the experience that he had was not easily given to someone. Neverthless, , Samar simply kept quiet, faking that he did not know about Arali's attempt at manipulating him. It was better to always keep quiet, and he would do that.

"Welcome Apprentices. Today, you will learn how to improve your telekinetic control, and you will learn a telekinetic power. I could go on about how telekinesis is an important power and how it is one of the most used powers by both light siders, and dark siders but I will not do that. We will begin the class immediately, and we will begin the application of telekinesis." he replied. The Dark Jedi so two weights, each of them weighing hundreds of pounds. Samar lifted this weights effortlessly, then pointed at Anthoni first to do the same, then Arali. The two Dark Jedi needed to have a better telekinetic grasp if they were to progress in mastering the power, and hopefully, this exercise would help them with that.

"Begin Anthoni" he stated.

Anthoni gave Samar a nod then stepped forward. This was no new task for Anthoni, he had been trained in the ways of telekinesis by masters and knights in the Jedi Order. All of which were good teachers. But that being said the way Jedi use the force is different then a Dark Jedi. The Jedi revolve around Inner peace, calmness and tranquility.

A darksider uses passion, to fuel his focus. Anthoni was full of raw passion. He was angry at everything, he was mad, sad, and just, just so damn angry. He channled that rage, that anger and sent it out to the huge weights. He imagined large hands around them, then with his mind told them to lift the weights.

Almost immediately the weights jolted into the air. And hovered four feet off the ground. Anthoni did not loose focus, he kept concentration on the weights. They were hovering but not as well as Samar had demonstrated.

Samar's weights were still in the air, they did not move much. Anthoni's were a little more unstable. They moved around in the air until finally Anthoni decided he had demonstrated long enough and he set them down easily on the floor.

He then nodded again to Samar pleased with himself. Then stepped back and waited for either Samar's thoughts or Arali's attempt. Either way Anthoni remained silent and attentive.

Arali was quite sure she knew how this would go. There might be some hydrospanners thrown in there somewhere along the way, but at the moment? It was very straight forward. As Samar and Anthoni channelled the Force and picked up the weights with them, Arali studied how both of them did it. Their technique, the way they held themselves, the way they felt through the Force, everything she could think of. The weights would undoubtedly be heavy to lift by hand, but they weren't lifting them by hand. Through the Force, with the right mindset, they would be easy. The Force was everywhere, after all. It encased each and every one of them. It was in the very air they breathed and the food they ate. Knowing that, "lifting" such things with the Force would actually only be a simple matter of manipulating it around the weights. As long as she could keep her eyes from lying to her the task should be very easy and very simple.

After Anthoni had set his weights down, Arali set to work, not even waiting for the command from Samar. She knew he would demand it of her any minute, so why waste time waiting? She focused her mind, tapping into the well of swirling, roiling emotions that always sat just beneath the surface, ready to be unleashed should she need them. She didn't bother with such things as raising her hand as if she were actually lifting the item with it. Such gestures were trivial wastes of effort there for show and nothing else, as her old Sith master had been quick to teach her. And besides, lifting a weight without the typical gestures tended to look far more impressive than acting as if you were lifting it with your hand did.

Just as she'd planned, Arali began to manipulate the Force around the weights. She pushed the Force above them out of the way to the sides, then brought it down below them, using it to push the weights upward into the Forceless void she had created. She couldn't actually see the Force around the weights, of course, but she could sense it, and this was how she pictured it as she channelled the Force through herself. The weights moved, but it expended more energy from her than she had initially anticipated. Instead of costing a negligible amount, which is what she'd have preferred, it instead left her breathing just a little strained. Without needing to focus on an opponent that was trying to best her, as well as their lightsaber, their movements, their intentions, the things they might do with the Force, and everything she would be doing in response to their movements and tells, lifting something off the ground was easy. Not being forced to split her focus so many different ways and instead being allowed to focus on the one thing made the task an easy one.

That's not to say the weights lifted without any hiccups. They jumped up suddenly, paused, then raised again jerkily, wobbling just a little bit. She achieved her goal, though, even if it wasn't as smooth and showy as she'd have liked it to be. She left the weights hanging there in the air for a little bit, imagining the Force below them like a durasteel table, strong and unyielding. Then she imagined that durasteel table slowly giving way to the weights as she lowered them back to the ground, placing them softly with nary a sound. Unfortunately, she'd yet again allowed her eyes to lie to her and partially convince her subconsciousness that how much the items weighed would impact her ability to lift them with the Force.
